We were loyal customers of Alexander Jewelers for over 10 years, and what happened recently was deeply disappointing and heartbreaking for our family. My husband served on active duty in the United States Navy, deployed overseas between Dubai and Kuwait. During that deployment, both the engagement ring and the wedding band were specially made as symbols of commitment, sacrifice, and family. When he returned home, we wanted those two rings customized into a single ring, which is why we brought them to Alexander Jewelers. Before any warranty was issued, Alexander Jewelers first appraised and evaluated both rings, confirmed their condition, and only after that appraisal issued a Diamond & Gemstone Warranty. They were enthusiastic about the rings, willingly took them on, and over the years welded, resized, and customized the rings in their shop. We also paid for additional services and enhancements whenever recommended. As part of the warranty, we were required to bring the rings in for six-month inspections, which explicitly included complimentary cleaning -- something we did faithfully for many years, including as recently as one month ago. The warranty and inspection booklet were personally issued and signed by the owners. The inspection record is signed by Jake Tekin, and the appraisal was prepared and signed by Raymond Tekin (GIA Graduate Diamonds). Jake himself cleaned the rings many times over the years and has seen our children grow up, which makes what happened next even more shocking. When we recently came in calmly and respectfully seeking clarification about why cleaning was suddenly being refused, Jake became rude and accusatory, claiming we were "yanking his arm," "being aggressive," and "making his staff uncomfortable." None of this was true. We were not yelling, not hostile, and were simply asking reasonable questions about a sudden policy change. He also stated that we "must have been given the warranty by accident," despite years of documented service and inspections. As a long-standing family in Rancho Cucamonga (over 25 years in the community, even before Victoria Gardens was built), being falsely characterized this way during a calm conversation was deeply upsetting. We believe in respect, accountability, and honoring long-standing relationships -- especially with families who have supported a business for a decade. What should have been a straightforward discussion about policy turned into false accusations and dismissal, instead of transparency and professionalism. After years of loyalty, paid services, and trust, this experience was devastating. We will never return, will never refer anyone, and strongly caution others -- especially long-time customers and military families -- to think carefully about whether this business truly stands behind the values it claims. This was a painful end to what we believed was a trusted relationship built on shared American values. read more

After a few days I was removing the ring to shower and one of the bands separated from the ring as we looked at the ring we noticed underneath there was a black covering on the diamonds and the ring was poorly soldered we took the ring back and explained what had happened the jeweler said he would work on it and it would be ready the following day . The following day came and one hour before they closed we received a call from the sales associate KRISTEN that the jeweler did not go in and that the ring would be ready the following day so Sunday came and we went to pick up the ring it was a disaster not only was there still black covering the diamonds but the inside and outside of the band was pitted so bad and worn uneven I cried. I asked for a full refund, and he refused saying that it was customized and he could not resale it my response was no one in their right mind would purchase it the way it looked. I reminded him he was the reason the ring was damaged.I left the ring and I will seek legal advice.I WOULDNT TRUST MIKE TEKIN TO WORK ON ANY REPAIRS OR ANY THING THAT NEEDS TO BE CUSTOMIZED! read more

Kristin greeted me upon entering and I explained how I had been looking for a cross pendant and necklace. She was quick to answer all my questions and explain the specifications. After making my selection, Mike the manager was wonderful at answering additional questions and requests for a separate piece of jewelry. When I came to pick up my jewelry, Kristin offered to clean other pieces of jewelry free of charge that I had on, which was such a treat. Talk about great customer service all around. The rings were so beautiful when they were done, and the jeweler even managed to keep the engravings on the inside! Kristen is amazing and very sweet here! I came in with my fiancé to get him a wedding ring and she offered to steam clean my ring for free. It took only a minute and my ring was even purchased from another jewelery shop and now sparkles again like new. They offered to steam clean it anytime I'd like, she was very knowledgeable, welcoming and I definitely recommend. I came into this Alexanders Asking about the cost to replace a missing diamond in my wedding ring. It was missing and I wanted the cost to replace it. I had taken this exact ring to a different jeweler and he wanted $125 to replace the diamond. I came in and they examined my diamond ring and come to find out it was just dirty. This is a rather large jeweler, building wise, but nothing like the mega-jewelers that run loopy radio & TV ads. I'm in the market for a decent men's watch, something like a Movado, Omega, Philip Patek, etc. I came into this establishment since I was in the neighborhood not hoping to acquire anything but, to my delight, noticed they carry a reasonable selection of watches and jewelry. The prices seem reasonable and the rep was cordial even after I said I had no intention of buying anything. He was not pushy so I appreciated that. I did not see anything that jumps out at me so I shall continue to shop around for that elusive watch. I might come back simply because my experience today was a pleasant one. read more

Honestly 5 stars is not enough! A good friend recommended me to them years ago and I go between their stores in Temecula ands Riverside every 4 months to have a set of my rings cleaned and dipped in rhodium. I did not purchase my rings there but they treat me as if I've spent a million bucks with them. This last time I went, I had a prong that was bent and I warned them ahead of time that I knew it was bent and would come back in the future to have it fixed. When I picked it up an hour later, the jeweler had fixed it and did NOT charge me! I would suggest to anyone that is concerned about leaving precious jewels with anyone, that this is a top notch trusted establishment and I wouldn't think twice about using them. Was treated like a 2nd class citizen when all I wanted to do was take a photo of a ring. I have purchased here before and requested to take a picture of an Item they had in stock Mike who is apparently one of the owners believes that his products are superior to other jeweler's I imagine. He denied my request to take a photo of an item that I had in my hand. I did not take the photograph per his request, but could have, just felt like it was pretty petty so I figured I would yelp because that apparently these days is the right thing to do when you feel like you've been done wrong. In my mind it was flattering but to him it was disgust apparently. So in reviewing Mike's response we spent less than 2 hours all together we had every intention of buying the ring but apparently it was quite overpriced he was not willing to move on it as far as the pricing, yes it's a nice piece of jewelry but not worth the asking price our intent was not try to copy his work, just to use the ideas to show another Jeweler who was willing to work with us in regards to our price range . He also had tried to sell us a diamond that had not been through a rating process for well over $8,000. And then proceeded to tell us how his GIA ratings were better than everybody else, has other ratings, when his diamond had not been rated at all. read more

I needed my sterling silver, Swarovski crystal ring sized and they were the only ones who took on the rather difficult task with an extremely fair price!! One on the smaller crystals was missing when I picked up my ring, but they replaced it in less than 20 minutes. I was shocked, and pleased to find out that they replaced my Swarovski crystal with a REAL DIAMOND!!! They informed me that they would have had to special order the crystal, thus prolonging my initial 4 day turn-around (which they completed in just 3 days!!) Alexanders is by far my favorite jewler. I drive an hour and a half just to go there. Out of all the places my fiance and I have been, they treat us by far the best! They are always welcoming and remember us every time we walk in. I'm impressed on how many details of our conversations they remember. Recently my diamond was loose and they fixed it the same day! I love going there so much that I wanted to buy my fiance ring at Alexanders. They did not have what I was looking for in the display case, so I asked if they could order what I was looking for. I went to 5 other places to get estimates to have someone resize my ring and repair the prongs so I would not lose my diamond. I also took my husband's band to have a loose diamond fixed. Alexander Jewelers resized my ring and redid the prongs for a fraction of the price of other jewelry repair shops. Fast Fix was three times the price. I am very happy with the price and happy with the resized ring. It turned out beautifully. They also cleaned mine and my husband's ring and said anytime I was in the mall they would clean it for me.
