Out introduction to AD Jewelry came from a friend who was pleased after having an old watch repaired. Later, my husband communicated quite a bit with Vinnie before having him make my ring. (This was years ago.) It turned out perfect! Exactly what we wanted. I go back regularly for cleaning and prongs check. Beautiful work, excellent customer service, and everyone here is genuinely nice. Friends I have referred say the same. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem. Vinny & his staff are amazing!!! My rings needed some major TLC after 12 years. I've heard great things about A.D. Jewelry Creations and decided to take my rings in for "THE WORKS." I regret soldering my rings years ago...but let me just say Vinny did some magic, and brought them back to life!!! I won't go anywhere else now! Prices are fair and they are honest. Celia is such an angel! She was very kind, patient & helpful during the process of taking my rings in. She reassured that my rings were in good hands. I absolutely would recommend this place 1,000% Great experience & service, Thank you A.D. Jewelry Creations. read more

This is the only place where I will take my jewelry for repairs. I love it here! The staff is friendly and, though the location isn't ideal for me, personally-parking my car to get there is a pain-I think it's a good location for the service that's offered. read more

Recently had 2 repair jobs done! A ring sized and some prongs tightened. Loved working with the business and highly recommend

Vinnie is the best jeweler in town. His repairs are excellent (he's done all our watches, clasps on necklaces and bracelets, reset stones in rings) and his prices are excellent. We've bought several estate and consignment pieces from him as well. On top of that he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet. read more

I literally can't say nothing bad about this place, it is a literal godsend. I went to multiple jewelry stores and was turned away because of the ideas that I had on how I wanted my ring particularly sized. I went in thinking that I wanted it to be a butterfly Effect with the sizing aspect, and pretty much everybody everywhere told me that I was crazy. It was too expensive completely out of my budget. Every other jewelry store pretty much just told me to go ahead and get my rings, resized again, but the issue is that my knuckle is thicker than the base of my finger, so therefore, resizing again was not an option. Celia was so helpful at the front desk assisting and then Vinnie their jeweler literally took the time to explain to me all sort of different options. I opted to get both sets of my wedding rings, soldered together, and we went ahead and added two French beads to both sets of rings. They cleaned the rings soooo good they looked better than the day I got them, checked every single stone and diamond on my ring as well as prongs. Vinnie even came and watched me put on my rings, and ensure the accuracy of how they fit and assured me that if I do need to change anything to just go ahead and go back as one of my rings are still just a little loose (not their fault the previous jeweler did not do a good job resizing, they left the band sooo thin). I cannot recommend or thank this company enough. Turn around time for both rings was a week and they killed it! read more

Wonderful family owned business who's helped me on several occasions. I wouldn't give my business to anyone else in regards to my jewelry.

Mike and Cristina C. My wife was looking to create a new wedding ring, from some of her unused jewelry. We gave Vinnie a basic concept of what my wife would like. Vinnie not only took this task on, he exceeded by far our expectations. The whole process was an excellent experience!!! His staff were extremely professional and made my wife feel at ease and were extremely attentive to her needs. Vinnie is an outstanding Jeweler!!! His personality and communication skills are just as outstanding. We strongly recommend Vinnie and A D Jewelry Creations. Thank you Vinnie, you made my wife very HAPPY. You are the best and I personally want to thank you for bringing a glow to my wife's face. read more

I can't recommend A D Jewelry Creations enough! I came in to get my diamond reset into my original engagement ring. This included sizing up the band 1.5 sizes, a new head, and electric rhodium plating. Vinnie is very helpful and knowledgeable and suggested a few new heads that were safe to hold my stone. His associate Megan was also very attentive, polite, and helpful. Prices seemed very fair, and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of or cheated into paying too much. Service was fast, even on Fourth of July week! My ring was on my finger a week after the original consult. Needless to say I am very happy with my finished ring! read more

I can't say enough good things about master gold/gemsmith Vinnie DiPadova and A.D. Jewelry Creations! The wife, family and I would give this place 10 stars if we could. Alas, only 5 are allowed, and its a shame this place hasn't been reviewed until now. A.D. Jewelry Creations is located in Downtown Riverside inside the Mission Galleria on Mission Inn and Main Avenues. You walk into the Mission Galleria and walk alllll the way to the back of the main floor and there he is; surrounded by clocks of all makes and models. He's been there for at *least* a decade Vinnie and his assistants are wonderful. He really knows his stuff and has serviced many pieces of jewelery of ours; both simple costime and valuable fine jewelry. More than once, I've seen people bring in pieces of jewelry for repairs, cleanup or upgrades and saw him quote 1/2 to 1/3 of what Mardon Jewelers in the Mission Inn had quoted them - for the same, if not superior, work done. Something that sets this place apart is the demeanor and honesty of Vinnie and his staff. He'll give you an honest quote on materials and labor and if its going to be costly, he'll tell you up front and will recommend other alternatives if they are available. His talents can be tailored to almost all budgets in his little workshop nook in the rear of the Galleria. He usually also has a lovely little display case are where he features all kinds of little wonders. From pieces from estate sales, to wonderful multi-jeweled pocket watches, to some of his own creations. And that's something Vinnie is good at as well, creating new and unique pieces in gold, white gold, platinum and silver. His prices on this are also fair. You pay a good price for good work; and he's more than willing to do appraisals and give free advice. He also does work on watches, clocks and other timepieces; he buys and sells estate jewelry, does custom engraving - in short, a very full service operation. Honestly; if you live in the area or find yourself nearby, wander into the Mission Galleria and give Vinnie and his staff a visit and say hi! The best part is that with all the wonderful jewelry you are likely to find in and amongst the various Galleria's sellers, a friendly and competent craftsman like Vinnie DePadova is ready to help you keep your finds in wonderful, shiny and like new condition! read more

Incredible job with my ring that needed to have a stone reset! It only took a day. Very friendly and welcoming sales associates. I believe the prices of their jewelry services are fair and honest. I will be going back for my future jewelry needs. Thank you again!!!! read more

Vinny is the best! Service is amazing, quality and great value! Vinny always takes care of our many antique clocks and keeps them running.

I had a mothers ring that needed another birthstone to be added. I took Vinny the loose stones and my ring, gave him my idea and let him do the rest. My ring is amazing! He was so excited to make it too, he really takes pride in his work. The only reason I took a star away was that the ring was promised to me on one day and it took him way longer to compleat...I guess you can't rush perfection :) read more

What an amazing job AD Jewelry did for me! I had some jewelry that I wanted to repurpose into a ring guard for my wedding ring! I've been married to an amazing man since 1996 and he has given me the most beautiful jewelry. He himself picked out my ring, carefully choosing the diamond and setting separately. Then later he gave me a beautiful sapphire pendant with 16 stones going from dark to light blue.. it was so fancy and I rarely got a chance to wear it so I started talking with Vinnie about using it to make something I'd been envisioning for years now but all of the stones were channel set so I didn't know how it would work. I'll share some of my drawings and then the CAD work up and then the final product... it took several weeks and I was so excited and emailed AD WAY too much I'm sure but they were always so kind and friendly and understanding. Needless to say I am over the moon thrilled with my new ring guard! And plan on making more creations with them thru the years. Thank you so much guys I'm elated! read more

I have been going to AD Jewelry for years now, Vinnie has repaired jewelry, re-sized jewelry, and reconfigured post earrings into dangle ones...you name it, and he can do it! My most recent experience has be singing his praises even more than before. I took Vinnie my Grandmother's ring to get resized to use as my own wedding ring, and he did a great job. But after it was done, my boyfriend wanted me to have an engagement ring as well, so I asked Vinnie if he could create a companion solitaire ring to go with Grandma's ring. What Vinnie created was beyond my wildest dreams! He matched my Grandma's ring perfectly and set a big, beautiful diamond in it that he let me hand pick! As you can imagine, the rings are very unique and get a lot of attention and all because of Vinnie's beautiful craftsmanship. I would highly recommend him to anyone....a true artist! Many thanks to Vinnie and his team!! read more

A favorite bracelet broke, so I asked my uncle (a Riverside local of 35+ years who knows pretty much everything about the city of arts and innovation) what the very best place to go to get it fixed would be, if price weren't an issue. He suggested Vinny at A D Jewelry. I then asked for a second suggestion, for jewelry repairs on a budget: same place. Yahtzee! I always enjoy going to Downtown Riverside, so it was great to learn that A D Jewelry Creations is tucked into the antique market. I had absolutely no difficulty finding parking on the street, and the young woman who helped me at the counter was quite pleasant and friendly. There's a kind of small-town feel to the place. There were a couple of older women ahead of me, and I really didn't mind waiting while they exchanged pleasantries with the employee and caught up on some local gossip, as they took care of their business. It might have taken all of two or three minutes, and it was clearly enjoyable for these customers. When it came to my turn, I was impressed at how professional the employee was, and how knowledgeable about jewelry. She quickly assessed the situation with my bracelet, and took note that this is something I wear every day and really love. But the real gem (pardon the pun) was Vinny, who came up to the counter from the back of the shop, made a quick professional assessment, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and assured me that the repair would help to ensure that my bracelet would remain where I want it: on my wrist. One caveat: the turn-around time is not quick. That's fine with me. I would much rather work with a local shop that does quality work, and have the repair take a week or so. The work was done on time, but the time involved might have been a little longer here than at a place with dozens of employees. Just keep that in mind going in, and you should be happy. read more

I was anxious to rate this place due to the phenominal quote I was given over the phone for my ring resizing, but of course I can't rate anything that I haven't experienced yet. I took a stroll down there, as my work is a 2 minute walk to here, to drop my ring off. Unfortunately my ring is not a simple resize because there are some jewels that will need to be retightened. As he began explaining that retightening the jewels would cost more I thought to myself "here we go...I knew that price was too good to be true." Then when he gave me the total price for resizing and jewel retightening, I was thrilled!!!! It was literally half of what I've been quoted everywhere else. I will be updating my review once I get my ring back to rate the work done. I'm confident that I will be very satisfied. In addition, my customer service experience was NOTHING like what the last persons was. Very quick, friendly, and to the point. read more

I"m giving this place a rating of one star because that is the minimum that Yelp would allow me to. There is typically a long wait at the counter, because the girl at the counter typically time chatting with her grandmother and grandmother's friends about some new boyfriend who had recently gotten divorced and with some kid that she's moving in with at the mobile park where they grew up. When her grandmothers finally decide to leave because they are hungry, that is when they attend to you, I requested for a simple repair on a simple chain of which the pendant had come off. They say they can re-attach it with a small ring, but I requested for a bail to maintain its original configuration (I've had the chain as a Confirmation present when I was twelve). They said they're going to have to charge me extra, and I accepted. They are open 10 to 3 on Saturdays, and they are open 10 to 5:30 on Tuesdays to Fridays. I had to wait another weekend before I could pick up my chain, only to find a sign that they were closed during the weekend. Two weeks later, my fiance had picked up the chain, with the ring attached to the pendant, and an un-soldered bail hanging on the chain. Not only do these people not know how to listen to their customers, they CAN NOT EVEN READ THEIR OWN RECEIPTS. If you 1) want to hang out and listen to the latest stories about some new boyfriend and big plans moving to a trailer park, 2) pay the extra fees because you're expecting to have your jewelry with sentimental value to be repaired the right way, 3) wait several weeks, because they close on some weekends, 4) only to find out that they did the opposite of what they WROTE ON THEIR OWN RECEIPTS -- yes, this is the place to come to! If you expect to come to a place of business where people are literate (can write *and* read), have decent customer service, and will fix your jewelry the way that they said they will -- DO NOT COME TO AD JEWELRY CREATIONS. read more

I'm a small business owner. I understand how hard it is, the fight you have to go through every day to keep everyone happy.. the long days and nights, the soreness from being hunched over a bench for hours on end, trying to deliver the perfect product. Vinnie Dipadova gets it. That's why he has had our family return to him over and over through the years- he delivers. We showed Vinnie nothing but drawings and sketches of *exactly* what we wanted, and we're super picky! It's like he breathed life into the drawings, and made them come right off the page. I wanted a raw looking men's silver band, with recessed diamonds in it.. and my wife wanted a crazy unique twisted one off design for her rings.. same as mine, he made the drawings come alive.. I don't want to give the poor guy shoes to big to fill, but his execution was perfect... no surprise to see such high ratings here on yelp.. the one lady that left a 1 star should be ashamed of herself.. complaining about a wait, or someone being on the phone?! That's any small business.. the backbone of the American economy.. she needs to go to a cheap "fast fix" jewelry repair place in the mall.. this guy and his business aren't even in the same ballpark as those places.. What an insult that a man with his talents has to even do such small fixes...Vinnie, thanks for making our jewelry dreams come to life.. we'll be back soon for more my friend. I'm sorry you're not closer so I could shake your hand and meet you. I did all of my business with Vinnie through the mail and text.. he was so on top of communication every step of the way.. we are so happy. Thanks again Vinnie! read more
