I ordered 4 shelves online. Only 1 came. When I called to find out where the other 3 were, I was told that they had no record of it. So I spent about an hour on the phone getting it straightened out. That was a couple days ago. Today I go online for my bank and see a pending charge. I call Michaels to find out when the 3 shelves are coming. I'm told they don't have a record of my order. Ummmm, so you are going to charge me for something that I'm not even getting? Doesn't seem right. Calling Michaels was a big waste of time. Never again will I order anything online. read more

Much of the frames we get seem to come from Michaels. Good selection of arts and crafts. Even though Walmart is entering the market, Michaels just seems like it will always fill that niche. Good selection of holiday items when that time rolls around. When you buy items, you always seem to get % off next purchase. For those that want to time their purchase, you can save a decent amount. read more

I usually have a good experience at this location. However tonight's customer service was horrible! I stood at the front of the line and not once but twice did the cashiers allow customers to just walk up and cut in putting me in uncomfortable position. I would have hoped the employees had some sort of training or the assertiveness to tell the customer to wait in line. To add insult to injury the kids of the customer who was allowed to cut in front of me were still running up to her asking if they could have items. The crew tonight obviously did not care about anything but a paycheck. I can't wait till Black Friday when you have tons of grouchy shoppers. read more

This store usually has the items that I am looking for. I like that I can almost always get a usable coupon on the app. Unfortunately there is always a significant wait to check out at this store. It is never a quick in and out. It seems like their registers are constantly understaffed. I have been coming here regularly for 9 years so this is not just a sometimes problem. read more

I usually find everything I looking for, specially the school project...even Halloween and Christmas decorations, the only problem I can say is the check out, always is a big line, just two registered open...beside that I really like Michaels. read more

I usually come here on my lunch break and it usually has a long wait line. So I always have to give myself some time to check out. It is a well organized store with great items. I love coming here for my crafts. Prices are reasonable especially if you have a coupon. They except coupons off your smartphones which I appreciate because I always forget to bring one. I'd love to give it NO STARS! Went in on Wednesday to purchase a few planners since they were on sale for 90% off. Found 3 asked to ring them up and price of each. After they were scanned, Shayla the manager said, "we can't sell you these!" Asked her why? Her reply shocked me! "These are on recall!" Asked why? She replied, "health reasons!" And refused to give anymore clarity to the subject. I checked government site for recalls..NOTHING. Michael's site NOTHING! Called corporate NOTHING! Was in a rush to pick up my kids so I just left after checking and making my calls in the parking lot! Customer Service called me back and was in shock at the lie she told. Couldn't understand why? Neither could I! They got in touch with store and everyone passed the blame onto the next person. Finally, they held the planners for me to pick up! Question till now why did Shayla assume such a stupid lie would fly? I think she needs to be demoted and trained over again! read more

Totally disgusted w/ the store manager to the assistant manager who are horrible to their employees...being under paid and over worked w/ lousy examples in management running this store. I am telling my friends and family to boycott this store and all other Michaels stores for their horrible ways they treat their employees. The store is generally dingy and customer service is virtually nonexistent. You could spend an hour in there trying to flag someone down to help you. It seems as if their registers are perpetually understaffed. Yet I tend to blame upper management as these issues seem to be an ongoing problem within this chain. Sale prices are decent. What they excel IMHO is their holiday decor esp. Halloween and Christmas. I love visiting during these respective seasons. You can get good deals on the little "light up" houses and Christmas villages. Decent selection of cake decorating items, custom framing, and scrapbook items as well as school project ideas. Floral arrangements are also pretty, if not pricey. Not the most extensive collection of crafting items but they will do in a pinch. Best of all, this particular store is located in a good area of Corona so at least you don't have to worry about getting mugged in the parking lot. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I am a bride to be and am currently searching for a specific floral stem for my centerpieces that my local Michael's had run out of. I called SIX different Michael's before finally finding them at this location. It was late in the day when I called and my bridal party had flown in from out of state for 48 hours to help me plan so time was precious and I needed them held for 2 days until I could drive down to get them. I only needed 4. I had a few on hold at other locations and had been given excellent service and no trouble about needing them held. At this location, however, the employee informed me that they can't hold anything over night. Before I could request to speak with a manager, she informed me she was the Assistant Manager (Gina) and was not "allowed" to hold anything. I offered to pay for them over the phone, I explained the urgency and the desperation after calling 5 other stores and she still said she couldn't do it. I am also a retail Store Manager and found it incredibly hard to believe that as a manager of a multi million dollar business that one would be incapable of making an exception to take care of a customer who was trying to spend HUNDREDS of dollars on all of these floral pieces. So I asked her, if she were to hold them and explain to her Store Manager (Priscilla) the situation would she really get in trouble? Get written up?! She said, YES! If she held these four flowers for me she would get written up. So, I am without flowers for my wedding and my maid of honor found them in Colorado, where they are being held for 72 hours until she can get back home! Worst service ever. Why make someone a manager if they are incapable of managing a situation. read more
