I'm talking Shiny Slowpoke and some older ones that I didn't even think they'd have, but he found them all and even found more that I didn't know about! The time and effort he took to find it gives this place a 5/5 rating for sure! Ever since I found out about Top Deck about a month or 2 months ago, my girlfriend and I have been coming ever since! The service is great, even my girlfriend has said she doesn't feel out of place or heavily judged being in this store unlike others. Their selection of singles is massive and they have tons of stock of Pokemon booster packs, bundles, boxes and ETBs. But not just Pokemon, they also have My Little Pony (which my girlfriend dabbles in) and Naruto, Magic the Gathering, and more! Nice place, lots of products but maaaann these people behind the counter buying cards are some greedy greeeeedy guys. Offering 30-70% for cards. Not even 80% for a 200 plus card. Almost sold 350 worth of stuff for 200 but my gut feeling told me not to and ended up at another card shop that offered me 80% for everything. First and last time there. read more

It's honestly such a shame that the One Piece events here are so poorly handled. Weekly events never start in time and the time limits are never monitored. Players have to go up to the counter to tell staff to start the next round. Prereleases are an even bigger disaster. They are never as advertised on the Bandai app - either they change how they sell tickets or they switch up the format at the last minute. Staff continues to make the same lame "technical issue" excuse and never seems to get it together. Sealed product is scalped at double msrp (no discount for players there every week) and you can't even go up the the counter and buy singles like you can with EVER OTHER TCG they sell. They make you message them with a list and have to wait up to 24 hours for a reply. I honestly like the staff and the facilities are big and clean. I really wanted to make this my home LGS but they seem to do everything they can to push one piece players away. They went from having two weekly nights at 20+ people every Tuesday and Friday to Fridays dying off and only about 10 or so on Tuesday. Most the players I know just go to other shops and it's a damn shame. read more

So I came in for the Mutant Ninja Turtle prerelease with a few friends who were super new to Magic, let alone sealed deck building. The event was very easy to get into, the setup felt very roomy and not so cramped like other places. The staff was super friendly and kindly answered any questions. Pairing was easy with the app. But that's not why I'm writing this: 1. They have in-store pickup for their inventory on TCGPlayer which saved me a ton in shipping and helped me finish my Black Cat Deck! 2. Being someone with ADHD, I forget things.....a lot. So imagine how I felt when I realized (an hour away) that I left my prerelease deck box at the store (with SUPER SHREDDER)! I figured someone would have taken it by this point or found it and kept the cards. NOPE! I called the following day and they had my box, they asked specifically what was in the box, and took down both mine and my partners names to pick it up. They protected that thing like it was their own. It meant a lot to me personally having had cards stolen by EMPLOYEES in the past. (Still had my shredder) 3. The people here are super friendly, very LGBT+ inclusive, which was super nice given the hobby. I got to just be my gay little self. All in all, this place is wonderful and I will gladly drive an hour just to come play here when I can read more

Ive been shopping at this location for a little over a year now as I started playing Magic The Gathering then and found this store to be the closest and largest in the area. At first I was enamored with how much there was on offer and how exciting potentially playing at a clean well organized store like this would be despite being shy myself, but that veneer has fallen off lately. While it is and was very convenient, I've had mixed experiences from good to bad with this location and recently I have decided this isnt the store I want to spend my money at unless something seriously changes with the staff's attitude problems. 1) The Staff The staff regularly seems overwhelmed or irritated with each other and customers and it bleeds into the interactions with people unrelated to the problems they're dealing with. Ive gone in multiple times to consider trading cards I've gotten and each time I've been blown off for one reason or another, or when shopping for packs to be told that they dont have specific boosters in stock that I literally can see and point to in their acryllic wall stands to the clerk's unaware or vacant expression. That's not to say theyre all terrible, some of the men and women are really pleasant to speak with, especially the taller gentleman with the shaved head. He is probably the kindest and easiest to talk to person there and he was one of the reasons I continued coming despite the treatment ive mentioned. 2) Online ordering Picking up online orders has, I feel, only gotten worse over the last year where I've had orders placed only to not receive any emails beyond the processing one and then when coming to the store be told after several hours that the order isnt ready and that I MUST be doing something wrong. I've tried changing emails ive used, changing the spam settings in my inbox, nothing and when just asking for brief updates becomes pulling teeth to pick up your cards it just makes the experience that much worse especially when your over-caffeinated staff members cant help but talk over you and ignore your questions or issues with their systems. 3)Stock and Availability This store has a great selection of cards and accessories but that's about the only plus I could say about that. Calling in to ask questions about stock or for upcoming events is always a 50/50 experience. Either I get the gentleman mentioned earlier and have my questions answered thoroughly and politely, or I get someone else that either can't wait to get off the phone or cant be bothered to check something for a purchase I want to make or have questions about. I'm sure I have other reasons to complain but I'll save them. It's incredibly disheartening to hear friends and family who are new to card games talk about having visited this store for the first time and leaving overwhelmed or with their heads down because the store just doesn't seem made for them. I've worked customer service and retail for most of my adult life, so I can understand how difficult it can be when you get repetitive questions or inexperienced customers that dont know what they're looking for, but as someone that has worked hobby stores before its your role to help guide them and nuture that desire to play and if you dont have that passion then this isnt the field for you. Sadly, I'd say my overall experience here has been mixed. I've gotten the stuff I needed, but Id rather spend my money anywhere else if it means avoiding a store that only seldom seems interested in keeping it's customers happy if they aren't regulars that have been beaten into accepting this kind of treatment. read more

the girl worker (unfortunately I didn't get her name but she had brown hair and clear, square glasses) was super nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I asked about starter decks for one piece and while there weren't any available, we were able to get complimentary starter decks and the girl with the glasses (I'm really so sorry I didn't get her name) was the one who went out of her way to gift them to us. Had great business with them in the past. I'm a disabled veteran and I called the shop today asking for riftbound booster boxes. They said yes we have them available so I asked how much the pricing was and the guy told me $165 a box. Mind you I live about an hour away so after the call I got in my car drove all the way there for them to tell me they have no boxes left. Then another employee told me he does have boxes but they are keeping it to sell the packs from bricking the box. What a shame that they pulled that on me. Wasted my gas a time and had the product but wouldn't sell me it. read more

First time coming here as a new collector was meh, it was late at night and I'm sure employees were tired because they have A LOT of people come in every day. There was a tournament going on which was nice to see. Second time coming here I had a better experience, was actually helped out a lot and got free items because I had explained I was new to pokemon collecting and I guess they noticed my enthusiasm. Nice people overall, definitely a place I'd come back to because their stock is always changing out. Prices are based off tcgplayer which is nicer than ebay/scalp prices for sure, but a lot of their cards ARE mint or near mint so you will pay a lot more for a card than if it were lightly or moderately played, which is fine, but kind of is a downside if you just want an authentic card in your collection and not necessarily to grade. So just look to tcgplayer and filter NM card for accurate pricing of what you'll most likely pay. Nice place! And employees are knowledgeable and nice. read more

I had been tempted to check this place out for a while, but never had the chance to. Everybody working behind the counter was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and didn't hesitate to help me pick which cards I wanted to grab. They price based off of the current market value, which is incredibly helpful since you get to see the cards in hand before you buy them. The entire space was set up and was a great environment as well, definitely a must visit for anybody into card or tabletop games. read more

This shop really cares about the customers by providing fair prices and great service. As a new Magic fan, they have product that has risen in value, and they keep it at fair prices on shelves. Of course some rarer items are stocked behind the counter and are priced at their high expected price points, but I found some great prices for precons that are bananas on other stores or websites. Haven't found a local tcg shop that can beat the variety of product Top Deck Keep offers. read more

Incredible service! The whole staff is great and so kind! Frank has been amazing every time I have been in. He heard I have 3 boys and hooked it up with keychains and Pikachu plushies for each of them. Another time I went in, I mentioned that one of my sons was in the hospital and another amazing staff member named John gave him 2 oversize Pokemon cards and even gave my other sons an oversized card. New product pricing is insane for Prismatic Evolutions as an example. Mirroring scalpers is unethical and unhealthy for the industry. When big box retailers are sold out, we rely on local shops. Unfortunately, the prices told to me were more than scalpers online ($120 ETB)I don't want to support scalpers, but when you're 10-20% higher than them, what's the incentive to buy from you? I was looking forward to giving his shop my business and then I realized they're matching scalpers. It also took a while for someone to acknowledge me, which I found odd. I won't be coming back. 2-stars because they have a nice shop and good variety of product. read more

I came in today around 3 PM specifically asking about 151, and the employee told me they didn't have any, despite me clearly seeing a large box of bundles sitting right there. When I pointed this out, they casually said, 'Oh, that box? Our boss is on a call right now, so just come back in a little while.' So, I drove all the way back at 6 PM to check again, and I was told that the 151 would be available for sale, limited to one per customer. When I arrived, I was met with the same nonsense...this time they claimed their boss was on lunch break. Seriously? Then, to top it off, one of their employees outright said they weren't for sale at all! Like aren't you a card shop that sells cards?What a complete waste of my time and gas. This isn't even the first time I've had issues with this location. Friends and family have had similar frustrating experiences here, so it's clear this is not a one-time mistake. It feels like this store is gatekeeping products, holding them out for their favorites while the rest of us are left hanging. I've had enough of this horrible, unprofessional business. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Won't be coming here again, horrible business, and rude employees. read more

Used to be a fun place. Now they're just scalpers with a location. Even before release day, at the pre-release events of a product, they jack up the prices 300% and claim "thats just market price" even tho they get it at distribution prices. Even had a worker pull product out of a distributor box and say "well we bought these 3rd party" despite the fact that the product wasnt released yet. Sad. Store is stocked with a great variety of TCG products and accessories like sleeves, mats, deck boxes, etc. It is nice to sign up for their special events online since I don't live near by. Once they had swapped to this new location and hired new employees they have been overpriced/tight wads. I'm relatively new to trading card games but I've completely fallen in love with Top Deck Keep and am so glad it's in my area. Since beginning to play Magic & Disney's Lorcana a couple of months ago, I've visited a few similar shops and none come close to TDK. It's HUGE, clean, plenty of seating, lots of parking, and various events/friendly tournaments every single day. There's an amazing and inclusive mix of people and personalities that frequent the shop as well as employees, and I've felt very accepted, welcomed and/or taken care of by all of them coming in as a total N00B to all of this. The counter and shop area can get busy when tournaments are starting or ending, but the one-for-all, all-for-one counter service always seems to handle the crowd swiftly. I'm surprised to have read a couple so/so reviews of the customer service. I think all of the staff are great and they constantly go out of their way to help. A couple may come off a bit dry, some a bit goofy, but all seem to absolutely love their job and taking care of the customers. A special shoutout to Frank who has to be one of the friendliest people on this planet that you'll ever meet! read more
