Great customer service! I went to other shops to build a deck mine has what i was looking for. However when i got here not only did they have what i need but i was giving advice and tips on how to play the game which was really valuable because I'm a new player. Even stuck around to play in a tournament and it was a lot of fun.

I brought in some duos from 2016 specifically a luxury from a 25 year anniversary Pack and others in which are now missing. We left our cards there for sometime and they did attempt to call in which I accept full responsibility but they should have been left in a pack until we got back from vacation. I got approximately 25 cards back only and they said that their procedure is to put all cards in stock if they are not picked up within a couple weeks, which is absolutely unheard of. I have now lost all my valuable cards specifically the ones of high dollar amount and rarity. I did go in to speak to somebody with no resolve just a bunch of false claims. I recommend you take video and picture of anything and ask procedure as I believe employees have stolen my cards. It is a very unfortunate situation. I am extremely disappointed.

I explained my project and he seemed disinterested in the idea and gave short one word answered and walked away. Seemed to care more about sorting rocket engines and helping a customer who was looking at a new rc car than myself or my son. Went to ask someone else for help. Aiden listened to our ideas and we needed. He went to work to provide us with the materials we needed and was very kind to myself and my son Aiden single handedly saved our experience. From my observations the black polo shirt gentleman seemed to be management - where I think Aiden would have been a better manager. Hobby stores are hard to come by these days and this experience could have easily converted me to seek guidance online, however Aiden changed this. Please go to this store for Aiden. But avoid the guy in the black polo shirt belongs in the tool selection.

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.

Helpful too. My daughter and granddaughter accompanied me on a mission to find specific hard to find Pokémon cards to complete a set. We were able to find 5 or 6 of them. It was so much fun hanging out and ferreting through boxes and boxes of cards. We weren't rushed out and were left to dig at our leisure. I'll return to True to dig, sort, and converse. It's like being a kid again. Quick Tip: No sports cards, but the friendly associates can direct you to where you can find them. Have fun.

And since it was implied that they'd be getting them in later I decided to sit and wait. I looked through a bunch of their bulk to kill time. It only took another customer coming in over an hr later asking about the 30th and then another associate said directly, "no, we sold out already" so now I'm starting to get frustrated cause I had decided to wait patiently for it cause they made it sound like they were expecting some to come in and so when I went up to the same associate I talked to and explained to her what I just heard, she says she'll go and ask the guy. He told her they were sold out and so she goes on to tell me "yeah, we just don't know when we'll get them in, maybe some time next week" like girl, I wasn't planning to wait a whole week. She played it off as if this was the first time I was talking with her, I wanted to reply back, "oh but you said you guys were gonna get them in later.." cause I have been waiting over an hour. I basically just stayed quiet cause I thought this place was cool before, I had great customer service the last time I was there but I basically feel like I was jerked around. Like if they had just told me straight up from the beginning that they were sold out I might've gotten something else, cause I definitely browsed around their showcases to see what else I would like in case they didn't have any of the 30th. But I was pretty irritated so I just grabbed my stuff and left without a word.
