We recently found M&M Games and have already been back multiple times! We've been collecting retro games for years, and it's refreshing to find a shop that is really focused on **GAMES**. There's a great selection across different systems, the staff has been helpful, and every trip has given us something new to look through. We've already found several games for our collection here, including one I had been specifically hunting for -- *Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego?* for Sega Genesis -- at a great price. We've also picked up games for N64 and PlayStation. If you actually enjoy the experience of digging through retro games and finding something you remember playing years ago, this is definitely a fun stop. We'll be back! read more

I came here to check out their vintage console games and was pretty impressed with their selection! I had an extensive conversation with the owner which was nice. I ended up purchasing a memory card for my Gamecube which was reasonably priced. I recommend checking this spot out especially if you're into retro gaming. I will definitely be back! read more

Super friendly! Gave us a poster my kids were eyeing on the house with a pretty small purchase! We love coming here! Comparable prices to other video game stores:) read more

The most organized, stocked and friendly game store KNOWN to man. I have been to 20 different game stores all over southern California. This store was packed. I have NEVER seen a store so organized. Anything you need or want- trust me it is there. The guy that runs it was so helpful, chatty and just over a good person. Worth the drive from West LA - even if you don't buy anything - check it out u maybe surprised! read more

Guy tried selling Mario party 7 to me for $100 used, then when I told him that's ridiculous game stop sells it for 45$, he told me GameStop doesn't know what they're talking about. While that might be true lol, that doesn't change the fact that they are selling it for half his price. Walked out immediately, don't trust this shop. As a general rule, if a retro game shop doesn't have prices listed and only tells you when you ask = red flag. Go to retro teyoh's they don't need to lie to make money. read more

I agree with the post reviews. This is why ma and pops shops are a dying breed. Just cares about the wallet. I came in with 6 consoles, over a 100 games and game cards attachments etc and , equipment that I could have bought online and eBay. I asked for a good controller after a few on mine were stick drift. As comp. He said the price was still 200 and I would have to buy the controller separately Don't go here 200 dollars?! Fuck this dude read more

Shop at retro teyoh's not to far up the road. The store has an impressive selection, but i really hate the way the owner conducts business. If there is no price marked, prepare to pay over ebay prices. I would shop there if the prices were more fair, but i don't love this business model, especially when these games have been there for a while. read more

Amazing service and great prices! Thank you Jason for helping us out:) we look forward to your collections:) games and videos

Scammer! If he has multiple copies of a game he will only sell u the broken one and lie about switching them, Dont take anything here to be cleaned either because if yours is cleaner then his, he will swap them out !!!! BEWARE !!!! read more

Go to Retro Teyoh's on Foothill and Campus This place sucks. From my visits. I can tell there are only 2 men on the payroll. The jerk owner and his constituent. This last visit will be my last. Relationship started off well. Decent trade in value and always gave an offer. I came in Thursday 1/19/25 and wasn't greeted at all. Had to whistle for service. Had with me an "opened" but brand new device and the jerk didn't know what it was first of all and offered me $4 for something I would have gladly taken $40 which was 60% of what I paid originaly. What a joke this place. Dude needs to shave his dumb beard off. Makes him look like a dweeb. read more

Love going here with my kids. They hold wide selection of video games for many of platforms both US and Japan Version. Staff here are super chill and know all about video games. I highly recommend this store for all video games info and console needs read more

Informative and so kind!! Sold me a game for my DSI that i've had for over 14 years. Will come back everytime!

Great place to get games for old systems. Been coming for over 20yrs. Anything you want they have it.

Don't go there, Mike offered $140 cash or $240 credit. Didn't bother to pick up 1 item out of a large tote. Took it to claremont in packing house and they gave us $700 cash. read more

Customer services was rude! Didnt have ps5 controllers and wanted to low ball me on games I wanted to sell even after I showed them how much it cost Owner is cool but some of the workers not so much. read more

I wouldn't recommend this game store compared to other ones in the area. They tend to price their items high, a lot higher than a quick eBay search can get you. I'm not sure if it's every item in the store, I'm sure some have a competitive price tag, but overall not good value here. read more

Great selection of video games. Choice of new and old videos games and gaming consoles.

M & M is a store I really wanted to like. The assortment of rare, sealed, and boxed items from all generations of video gaming are truly impressive. Unfortunately that's where my praise for their store ends. The process in which M&M quotes their prices is time consuming and will set you up for mind numbing sticker shock. Most items in the store are unmarked leaving you open for the M&M ultra high quote to the moon. Jason (whom seems perturbed by customers and would probably be rather taking a nap) will take the items to his back computer, look at the most current listings on eBay, and then quote 20% higher then current market price. He will never take into consideration completed listings, current prices on price charting, or another competitors's prices. During my last visit (and final visit) Jason became so perturbed while quoting me prices he advised, "You should just go get this off eBay because I can't quote you the price you want." I told him no worries and left without uttering a word. No worries indeed the experience at M&M caused me to go to Pixel Vault Games a few minutes away. Roger whom helped me at Pixel Vault was infinitely more courteous and appreciative than Jason at M&M. Thanks to Roger at Pixel Vault Games for my beautiful boxed Zelda for NES!!!! read more

This place pretty cool a value of games. Selection pretty good. There service pretty nice

I've been to a lot of retro video game stores. Because of my career I've really traveled and I've seen video game stores in New York Chicago Louisiana and of course California especially California since I'm from here. Also in California I have been to almost every retro game store around here. And let me tell ya, this owner; he has everything from consoles to original consoles still in their box to a very wide selection of parts and games throughout his whole store. Not only that but he knows where everything is and that goes a long way. I've been to stores where I would say a game and the owner would just point; saying the Nintendo games are over there. but this owner, when I say a game, he knows exactly where it is and exactly how many he has. I love this store and I will keep coming back to it. read more

Retro gaming enthusiasts! If you're feeling nostalgic for the good old days of gaming, then you need to check out M & M Video Games. This place is a blast from the past! Walking into M & M Video Games is like stepping into a time machine. You'll find all your favorite classic video games and consoles, from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) (probably even Atari 2600) up to current. It's a paradise for gamers who grew up in the 80s and 90s. The owner of M & M Video Games has been there for like over 20 years and is the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. He's willing to chat about your favorite games and consoles, and he'll even give you recommendations on what to play next. The owner is approachable and knowledgeable about all things gaming, which makes the shopping experience at M & M Video Games even more enjoyable. It's not often you find a store where the owner is so invested in his customers' experiences. If you're looking for a place to relive your childhood memories or just want to experience some classic gaming goodness, then M & M Video Games is the place for you. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Now look - I wanna add that there are some people nit picking about price and what not but... the games I looked at all seemed pretty fair in my mind. Now, mind you i'm not some game hunting knowledgeable enthusiast, but I did ask about a rare game on ps2 and the number he said, if he were to get it, was a number I'd expect to pay. This number, mind you coming from a game in hand with a shop attached not a seller online with promises etc. I know, I know, sounds like I'm arguing for the guy, but I saw a lot of N64 games for under $10 that I wouldn't mind having. AND ALSO, can we talk about return? like... if you're going to play hours and hours of this game, the cost essentially goes down with each hour played because the return is inherent. Maybe thats me. But I digress. This place was super cool to find and I'll certainly be returning. read more

When I got a wild hair in my butt for some Pokémon after a 15 year hiatus I did not know where to turn too. I called as soon as they opened and was told they had Pokémon Yellow and Gamboy Color in stock. Was able to purchase both immediately and start playing. I got both items cheaper than what I would have paid for on Amazon. Thanks again. read more

Very Helpful Jason and mike are Great Workers as they helped me, you should stop by and see for yourself

I came here looking for a ps3, and I can't remember the name of the guy who helped me but he was very knowledgeable and honest. I was also looking for a certain game and he told me I could call him every week and he'd let me know if it passes through. I ended up just buying the game from another company out of state but either way I was satisfied. And man the selection they had there of consoles is unreal. I'm gunna go bankrupt knowing how much stuff they have there. I'm just glad I got that nostalgia fix I was looking for. read more

M & M video games - Game me some good tips on must have game for the game gear. - Video Game Stores Near Me - Upland, California

I've visited this video store for many years and am pleased with their service and pricing. Both Jason and Mike are on hands attentive to customer service and the videos sold are of high quality with best prices. Honest and friendly store at every visit and sale. Firm believer that good prices can be sold at a bit lower price elsewhere, but the customer service and supportive of a quality game store such as M & M Video Games, is my 'to go' store anytime. My hard working $ Dollar is spend at this store. Give them 5 Stars. read more

I would give 0 star but I can't so 1. How is this store open? I just hate that he checks prices a lot. He should just have an eBay store. I like 8bit game store in the indoor swapmeet. read more

Came Into the Store to Sell / Trade in Some Old Video-game Consoles and Accessories. Manager and Assistant Both Tried to Undercut Me on the Value of my Stuff, Only Offering Me 10% of What It Was All Worth. They Went Onto a 20 Min Lecture Trying to Justify There Lowball Offers; Stating They Have Little Place to Store It. Also When Looking at the Prices of Items in the Store; Prices Were Jacked Up Super High Over Market Value. Overall a Bad Experience, Especially With Management. Do Not Recommend This Store. Don't Waste Your Time, Go to Another VideoGame Store Where They Have Fair Prices and Better Service. read more

What an incredible store and selection. I've been coming here since the early X-box days and the owners have always been super cool and friendly. My only gripe and this is mostly on me is the prices for anything Nintendo are crazy high. I'm talking something that would go on eBay for $50 tops is well over a hundred here. Frankly I'm mostly mad at myself for not researching more before I bought the item. Lesson learned. All that being said the selection is very good and they got a lot of stuff you simply won't find anywhere else nearby. Do your research before buying and you'll be alright. read more

owner is rude and a liar. on the phone he said he has authentic ps3 controllers and the second he brought them out i didn't even need to hold it to know it was fake. could tell immediately from the PS home button then picking it up really confirms its fake. i was nice to him and said im sorry i know this is a very complicated niche and you might not realize these are completely fake. he got so mad and prideful immediately and was just so desperate to sell it and tried to convince me i don't know what im saying. but i'm a mega nerd who has modded several ps3s and controllers and know way more about this than he does. would've respected him more if he said "yeah they're fake" because i know real dualshock 3's are very hard to come by. but he kept lying and being rude claiming if he weighed it it'll prove it. weighing it means nothing when the logos and dimensions are wrong. don't trust this store especially if you're doing niche things. very stupid vintage store with a clueless angry old man read more

This place is overpriced and have horrible service. I bought a game for $59.99 and then saw it at Walmart for $49.99. They were not willing to price match or give me a refund, within an hour of my purchase. I highly advise to stay away from a business that runs their ship like this. You would think that a store that is small and probably struggling for business would be kind enough to at least try to make their customer happy but nope! I will never purchase a single item from this lame store again! Don't shop here!!! read more
