Angel was amazing. He responded within a few seconds of me requesting a price for fixing my kid's Fire HD tablet, that my kid was too rough with, while unplugging the charging cord. I was able to send him some pictures and while he was asking some additional questions, he was able to help me diagnose that the problem was just a stuck, broken piece of the charging cord and not the entire tablet's usb c charge port. I was able to pull out the remnants of the broken charger. Phew... saved me a replacement cost of the tablet. And or unnecessary fixing. I respect and admire this honest approach to business. My 11 year old son busted the screen to his Nintendo Switch. We told him that if he wanted to get it fixed, he needed to find a place and get a quote and ETA. He tried calling IB Gaming and while they initially seemed helpful, they ended up ghosting him entirely and when he tried to follow up with them, a guy answered the phone and said "You've already called" and hung up on him. It's one thing to have bad customer service, but it's a whole other level of rude to do that to a child. We ultimately ended up going to Fix It Lab (also in Covina), where they were SUPER helpful, kind, and replaced not only the screen but both joycons in less than 24 hours WITH a 6 month warranty. If we have issues in the future, I know where we'll be going and it definitely won't be here. read more

Trusting the ratings and reviews on phone repairs at this store was a mistake. Let me tell you what happened.. Girlfriend was asking me to help her find a spot for phone repair and I suggested this place might be good. She ended up going here partially for the reviews and also partially for the convenience that the store was nearby. She took her iPhone in and was having issues with both the charging port and sound quality in her recorded videos. Guy says he can fix it and replaces the charging port saying that it could be the cause of the problem.. so we get it fixed and sure enough the sound quality seems better.. fast forward a month or so-- she's having even worse sound issues with recorded videos. Shoot, I thought this guy said he fixed it.. she ended up taking it to a seemingly more knowledgeable technician who declared that yes the microphone quality can be effected by the same component as the charging port. The reason they suspect the issue is worse now is because it has a non-OEM charging port. HERES THE KICKER! This store I'm leaving a review on charged her 80$.. the expert technician only charged 45$. What an absolute joke. When I heard the price of 80$ initially I was a bit blown away but brushed it off until I heard the price the expert charged us. This guy should stick to his video game store. I need a refund. read more

Great fast service. Took my sons original Wii console in as it was no longer reading discs. Angel was able to test and figure out the issue and new part needed in about 3minutes. Really sketchy. Don't even have a legitimate location. Set up a day to bring my ps4 in, and I got sent to some random address. I was under the impression I was speaking to Gabriella the "owner". When I arrived, it was an empty run down building and a guy was sitting on the curb and asked me if I needed my PlayStation fixed. He didn't tell me his name. He didn't have a work uniform or a business card or anything to prove he represented the company. I asked what happened to the old location and he pointed in a random direction and said, "they used to be over there but they closed". ???? I wasn't going to hand this guy my PlayStation. I told him I would be back and as I traveled toward the address that is listed I called the phone number and they said they don't have an actual address. What??? When I arrived to the address that is listed on the yelp page, it brought me to a super market. Either a horrible business or a horrible scam artist. Don't bring your gaming console here read more
