Bought 3 items (XBOX game, 2 XBOX Controllers; 1 brand new, 1 used) at the Milipitas location a couple months back & learned that I got totally ripped off by paying $25 for the used original 2001 era XBOX controller that had the cord completely unattached to the game controller. ALL games in there from what I recall were VERY overpriced and not close to its online worth. Good majority of what is being selled is imported from China and its quality shows. The 1 XBOX game disc I purchased was scratched and malfunctioned when I tested it out. Their refund policy is flat bogus. How this place is still around is beyond me. Came in today, and spotted a gray copy of Oracle of Ages for Gameboy... Which has never existed. Lots of reproduction carts which *WOULD* be okay if they were marked and priced as such, but the cart was listed at $100+ A lot of boxes were clearly consumer printed and packaged to look real. There are some real carts and games here, but this store would do better to separate the real from the repro. Mark and sell repros for what they are actually worth, and that alone would make the store better. read more

All these reproduction (repro) games were not marked as repros in any way. People are getting taken advantage left and right at this retro game store. Worst store of any category including Walmart at peak Karen hours or an olive garden without breadsticks. The guy who sold us our game wiped his nose into the case... the prices are stupid high and it looks like almost everything (checks other reviews) is bootleg. I purchase it (the game was already open) and I see that the game has scratches so I go to return it 2 hours after purchasing.
