Do not go to this gamestop! Go to the one at the plaza. The manager here is probably the worst I've ever seen in customer service. I brought in my old xbox360 to trade it in to get the new xbox one. But when I brought it in it was like I had asked him to do his job! He started by telling me it wasn't worth much! I'd say trying to put me off trading it in and letting him to go back to doing nothing. But I didn't mind I knew it wasn't worth much. He gave me a look like I was his worst enemy. He looked through my accessories and the ones they didn't take like the headphone speaker he literally threw back at me with a smug look. At this time I had made my mind up I wasn't going to take the deal because of his attitude, but I let him continue anyway. At the end after he totally low balled me, I told him not a chance with your attitude I'd rather throw it in the trash! I am a loyal customer at this Gamestop. I've bought all my systems, games and accessories at this location since it was Funcoland, way back when... Most of the staff has been there for quite a while, and they are helpful and friendly. I've witnessed people trying to sell stolen goods back to the store, and the manager handled it in a professional, non-confrontational way, and there was no conflict. I lost the recipt to my PS3, and when I needed to send it to Sony as proof of purchase, I called up my neighborhood Gamestop, and even though they couldn't re-print my reciept, the manager gave me the corporate number. When I called corporate, it took me no time to get to a live person, who helped me out with no problem and even emailed my POP to Sony for me. I love this Gamestop so much, I'm applying for a seasonal job there just becasue it seems like a fun place to spend some time. And who doesn't need extra money, right? So for your gaming needs, please. Refrain from going to Best Buy, or Toys R Us... Since I had a couple days off work for an injured back. I decided to stop by here and buy some games and a new remote. As soon as I walked through the door, Kevin was on his "A" game. Making sure all my questions were answered, and even suggesting some games I should get for my PS3. Super friendly, I liked all the games he suggested, and ended up buying 3 games and a remote....Super friendly, knows all the games! Will definitely be back here for all my future purchases!!! P.S. Came to get some lightsabers and the price on the box said 119.99 and it had it on all of the Darth Vader lightsabers. And the lady didn't give it to us she peels off the sticker and said oh that's not that price. And charges us the regular price. We ask what happened to the 119.99 price and she said oh it's not that price. When clearly it was on the damn box on all three. I asked a few questions about Xbox 1 and employee said he didn't know because he doesn't use Xbox. "WRONG ANSWER BUDDY"/ "YOU WORK FOR GAMESTOP (YOU SHOULD KNOW or AT LEAST FIND OUT)". I have gone to this Gamestop numerous times. Every time I go I get excellent customer service. One example would be of Daniel. I walked in looking for a fun RPG and he named around 10. He described each one and rated them. Another example would be of when I went to the midnight launch for GRFS. I was the first one there (only because i had just gotten off of work and work a block away) and they talked to me so that I wouldn't feel awkward haha. They were extremely friendly that night. Overall this is my favorite Gamestop due to its helpful and friendly staff, not to mention they have a great inventory of used games. read more

I've been shopping at Game Stop for years, but after the last experience I had there, I'll never shop there again. I accidentally tripped on my son's headset for his ps3one day, and broke it. I decided to run down to Game Stop, and get him a new, rechargeable, wireless one to replace it. I bought one from MadCatz for $30, which I thought was reasonable. I took it home, followed all the instructions, and after after a day of trying, could not get the thing to take a charge. I took it back to Game Stop, and they exchanged it for another one. Fine, I got a faulty one, and they took care of it, right? Wrong... I took the other one home, and after another day of trying, it also would not charge. I ran down to Walmart, bought one for $20, and it immediately worked fine with no problems. I took the second defective one back, wit the receipt, to Game Stop, and found out that they won't refund for open items, under ANY circumstances. If I had purchased it at either Walmart, or Best Buy, I would have been refunded, no questions asked. Although I can't fault the employees for Game Stop's terrible policy, I can fault them for their attitude. The lady that helped me treated me like I was an inconvenience, NEVER apologized for the trouble I had to go through, or for the fact I received faulty merchandise. In fact, when I declined her offer to exchange it for yet another (probably faulty) headset, she acted like she was doing me a big favor giving me store credit, and said she wouldn't do it next time. She needn't have worried about there being a next time. Most stores will only do exchanges for opened SOFTWARE, but I've never had one tell me I couldn't return hardware that was bad. If you're buying hardware, shop elsewhere. read more

I usually come to this game stop as it's the closest location to where I live (right around the corner basically). Never really have any issues as I always know what I'm looking for. Staff is helpful and answers questions. They can be pushy when it comes to pre ordering items or buying the warranties on the games. I know it's probably just part of their job to ask you about all that stuff but when I say I'm not interested the first time, you don't need to keep asking if I'm sure. Most of the employees I've dealt with over the years are pretty decent but there have been a few that seem like they are indifferent about being there and could care less. Other than that, this gamestop meets my needs. Smaller size, but organized. Better than the one in the mall and bigger. Its easier to deal with this one over the one in the mall. Unless you're actually going to the mall for another reason, then I would just go to this game stop. read more

The store is generally clean unless you walk in right after a rush of people who left it destroyed. The store is a bit on the small side and as a result doesn't have an enormous inventory compared to larger Gamestop locations. In terms of selling games to the store, take advantage of timed sales and promotions. Don't expect to get too much for a game that is in high supply and low demand. They are a business at the end of the day and only one option to consider for selling games. I have received as much as $45 in store credit per game.Just time when you sell and be aware of other options. Very basic consumer practices. read more
