Instead of just answering, the employee immediately got irritated and told me I had "called five seconds ago." The problem is, I have never called this store in my life, and I hadn't made a phone call in several hours. When I tried to explain that, he was dismissive and acted like I was bothering him just for asking a basic inventory question. What made the interaction even stranger was how certain he was that I was supposedly the same person who had just called. It honestly made me wonder whether he was confusing me with another Asian customer, which felt pretty insulting. I call card shops regularly looking for Pokémon and One Piece products, and I've never had someone be this unnecessarily rude over such a simple question. The whole interaction was obnoxious and completely turned me off from ever visiting the store. If answering a quick inventory question is that much of an inconvenience, I'll happily spend my money somewhere else. Terrible first impression.

I'm rather new to comic collecting and I've been trying to keep my collection growing, but because I'm new to the hobby I don't always know how things work so I try to ask questions to the workers at the stores I visit. The store has one person who is honestly kind of rude. He is an older bald white guy. I've interacted with him a few times in the past briefly but I always felt he was kinda short and rude with me in comparison to how he interacts with other guests . I thought maybe I am overthinking the interaction so I always just let it slide and kept coming back. I told my partner briefly about this and he even agreed that maybe it could be me over thinking. I went in with my partner and this time I asked a question to the cashier about comic releases and the rude guy interjected and made condescending comments about me not knowing how releases work and overall made me feel really stupid. His whole energy just makes me feel like I'm not welcome and that I'm less than because I'm new to the comic hobby. When we left the store my partner immediately was like "is that the guy that is always rude to you?" I don't think I will come back to this store again because of how rude and unprofessional that guy is. He just really lacks customer service skills.

My boyfriend is in one of the bands that played here which they've played once before. We recently got into comics and reading again so we went in to supper their bookstore. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we walked in the store. There were so many book organized into their own sections. This made the book easier to look through. Recently I've been into horror book and that section did not disappoint. I ended up getting Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. The prices of the book were on the lower side which was very nice!. As for the concert aspect, it was another amazing hard core show. The bands were amazing and I have to give some love to the staff running the concert. A fight broke out and two members of the staff took care of it. They kicked the guy out who started it and was there for the guy that got hurt. Overall this is an amazing location and I will be back for another concert/book shopping session.

My daughter and granddaughter accompanied me on a mission to find specific hard to find Pokémon cards to complete a set. We were able to find 5 or 6 of them. It was so much fun hanging out and ferreting through boxes and boxes of cards. We weren't rushed out and were left to dig at our leisure. I'll return to True to dig, sort, and converse. It only took another customer coming in over an hr later asking about the 30th and then another associate said directly, "no, we sold out already" so now I'm starting to get frustrated cause I had decided to wait patiently for it cause they made it sound like they were expecting some to come in and so when I went up to the same associate I talked to and explained to her what I just heard, she says she'll go and ask the guy. He told her they were sold out and so she goes on to tell me "yeah, we just don't know when we'll get them in, maybe some time next week" like girl, I wasn't planning to wait a whole week. She played it off as if this was the first time I was talking with her, I wanted to reply back, "oh but you said you guys were gonna get them in later.." cause I have been waiting over an hour. I basically just stayed quiet cause I thought this place was cool before, I had great customer service the last time I was there but I basically feel like I was jerked around. Like if they had just told me straight up from the beginning that they were sold out I might've gotten something else, cause I definitely browsed around their showcases to see what else I would like in case they didn't have any of the 30th. But I was pretty irritated so I just grabbed my stuff and left without a word.

That place felt massive. This location does feel a little smaller, but it's still massive. Plenty of vendors and variety, some shady vendors that will overcharge too much or just be plain rude, but overall it's a great experience as you will find very niche and interesting/weird stuff. You will also find vendors selling things for great prices. Make sure to bring cash and most vendors will give you a discount. The only downside is even with the ridiculously large parking area, it STILL fills up every single day. It's literally always busy, so prepare to walk a lot. Always fun to visit every once in a while.

Last week, I came in looking for a couple MTG to fill out my cEDH deck. Seller says they price things competitive off TCGPlayer website, and then quoted me $6over the tcg price for a $20 card. He says they have to charge more since the booth costs them money. So... I could just buy online, save the upcharge, and you will have to pay for shipping? Thanks but no thanks.

The folks here are friendly and you can tell they are knowledgeable and love the industry. I randomly stumbled across this place when I was grabbing lunch in the area on my break. I can't speak to much on the value because I was just going in to take a look at the time (and didn't purchase anything on that particular visit), but from the price tags, everything that I saw seemed very reasonable. This is the type of place that I would have spent a lot of my paper route or minimum wages I earned when I was a kid. I probably would have spent hours here and been here all the time if this place was near me growing up. If you are into comic books and related collectibles, this place is an absolute gem.
