Worst customer service for walk in service of any carrier I've been to. All I wanted to do was drop off their poor performing wireless bridge and get it taken off my monthly service charge. I was number 3 in their queue, but waited 45 minutes even though they had 3 - 6 people working at various times. DON'T COME HERE WITHOUT a RESERVATION. Horrible process. read more

Spectrum internet is fucking terrible. I paid $54 for slow ass internet. I switch to t mobile internet for 5G and it's only $25 a month . I'm writing this review cuz everyone needs to know they suck. Worst service ever. 15 people waiting, 3 people working the counter and one female standing at the door playing on her phone. Here is an idea, when the wait line is stacked how about jumping in to help instead of waiting to great someone (or just messing around on your phone) This place is nothing but fail Update: It took 50 min to get through the line. I tried calling because I had the service before in my last neighborhood and I had a question it could not get answered and no option for what I wanted so the phone on the automated system, which is the only way you can get through when you initially dial hangs up on you and says we're having trouble difficulty hearing you call back later it's not you had trouble difficulty hearing me you didn't have an option so then you have to pick a different option which I did after I called back and they are always experiencing a high volume of calls in a matter. What time of day you call. Does anybody else miss talking to people besides me. This is the worst Customer Service I've ever had in my life it's absolutely dreadful and terrible. I don't recommend this Spectrum to anyone they do not want to talk to you and they show it in their actions and how they set up their automation They do not care about you they only care about money. read more

I received great service from Spectrum until I decided to cancel their services. At that time, everything changed. My internet, cable and phone services were to be cancelled on Saturday. Spectrum cancelled them early (phone- Wednesday and cable - Thursday. After being on the phone for 1 hour, I was transferred to another agent. The agent transfers happened 4 times with approximately a 45 - 60 minute wait between them. The result was no resolution of my issues. Another call, late on Thursday, resulted in alot of promises but no change in the cable and phone inactive status. Don't cancel your Spectrum services early, you will be charged for the entire month! Shame on Spectrum. No wonder people have begun rejecting cable & embracing other options. read more

Horrible customer service, individuals working are not very helpful. If you can avoid going to the store please do so... if you can avoid using spectrum altogether would probably be your best option. As most of the other reviews have mentioned the wait time is insane considering what you pay for the service. I pay over $500/month for two services. Two rep's and a queue of 30+ people was crazy. Finally after being at the Katella location waiting for over an hour I got my chance. I was trying to downgrade the service on one of my accounts, I have two, and unfortunately I'm pretty fearful that when I check on the location's internet and TV connectivity there won't be any. I have about a 4% feeling that things will work out with no additional intervention on my part and countless hours of my life wasted trying to get the proper help. I'm not one to complain as a rule, but this was a pretty bad experience that I fear is going to get worse. I'll update when I see if my daughter has a working TV/Internet at her home. Update: In all fairness I have to say that upon hooking up the new cable box and calling for a signal to be set to activate the downgraded system there were no issues. The internet and TV are working properly as of this review. Thanks to Leah at the Katella store, however my comments regarding the lack of adequate customer service and time wasted waiting for help still apply. read more

These guys are very unprofessional. My father's WiFi is still under my name and all we wanted is to change it under his name. Instead of helping us out this Agent becomes all defensive and started accusing us that we just want to do that because we wanted to get the Discount. I showed my ID and proved them that I no longer reside in my parents home. I asked him if he can just change it for me but they still don't want to help us, telling us that we have to disconnect for 30 days first in order for it to be changed. These guys are just bunch of hooligans, if they are too judgemental or too lazy to help out customers they should just close. If I can give 0 stars, I would. This is my review for spectrum internet, not for this store only. Spectrum charge $79.99 internet + $5 wifi service, total $84.99 per month for a loyal customer like me who has been since 2010. This morning my internet wifi was down for 2 hours because spectrum agent turned off wifi service as retaliation for my request of credit for this $5. A agent, Tiffany, had me wait 30min on the call and asked for $50 service charge to fix this internet connection which was intentionally turned off by the agent. It is not worth $85 per month at all. I've realized that Spectrum is doing mafia business to squeeze out customer's thin pocket during covid-19 pandemic. Internet is down often but it never offer any credit and instead service charge of $50 every time Internet is down. ATT INTERNET, please help us save from Spectrum! read more

My mom and I spent almost 2 hours in the store working with Tam and Romeo and they were absolutely fantastic! Helped us switch our phones from Verizon to Spectrum and trade in my iphone 11 for a 13. Tam went above and beyond helping us, staying 30-45 minutes after closing to finish setting up the new phone. (we had to wait for a software update) He was extremely helpful and friendly. Even helped my mom out with some discounts on our monthly bill. Romeo was very efficient and helpful as well, assisting us on a previous day when we had issues with the new phone being stuck in transit. Spectrum definitely has much better customer service all around compared to Verizon but this location in particular is doing an amazing job. If you move from LB to HB, they cancel, open a new account and then you need to return the equipment to then pickup. I went to the Long Beach on Bellflower and After trying to be upgraded they tell me they don't have my equipment. I have been sitting at the Cypress location well over an hour and here I sit! I need internet! That's it! No bundle. Just internet! Here I continue to sit. Long gone are the days of service and technician. This is progress! No Service! read more

This is the most badly managed store I've ever seen . I went there on a Monday afternoon their was a 40 customer line barely moving. All I was doing is returning equipment. I came here after I had placed an order to receive my phone through the mail a day prior but decided to go ahead and go in store the next day to just get a phone in person instead. After driving to 2 different location and being told that I couldn't cancel my other order coming through the mail, Ralph was finally able to help me get this settled. He helped me cancel my other order and come out with a phone that same day! He is great at what he does and other spectrum employees should definitely follow his work ethic! read more

ok ive had spectrum mobile for 3 years The issue is in coding and IMEI numbers .I got a replacement devoce through insurance huge issues with gerting them to properly update the device with apple . Then after oaying off the phone and wanting tongive it to my mom . ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS there unlocking dept is not reachable . The activation dept is helping me but they also say they can only send them emails . So if they have a glitch they wont contact or gove u a courtesy email. You have to fillow up over and over or it will never happen . i am not sure if it will ever happen . i dont seem to have any rights . Spectrum can be very shady . Unlocking phones is a joke they are trying to discourage it obviously read more

I was there for almost 45 mins. I just had to swap my modem to a new one. Literally took less than 5 mins to do it.

This company is incompetent. I wanted to move my landline phone number to a landline at another property and was told Spectrum couldn't do that. They sold me a mobile plan and device and said I could transfer to the mobile instead. When I called to activate they said they had already discontinued my landline making it impossible to port it to the mobile. They lost my number of over 25 years. Also, even though they disconnected my service right away, I was charged for the full month because they claim they not prorate for unused services. So I was charged for a service I didn't receive and for the loss of my number. After 5 hours on the phone with customer support, I came to the store to resolve and cancel the mobile plan, which refused to help me. All I wanted to do is do a remote exchange and return a box that's not being used. I ended up returning to this location 3 times to get my issues resolved. First visit, I got the remote control replaced, but when I returned a box, the representative deactivated the box that I am currently using. So I went home and discovered that the box that I have at home is deactivated and the remote that I got still didn't work. I returned for the second time and have to sign in again for the wait list. It took about 20 mins to get some help. The representative told me everything should be good to go, which meant that the box I have at home is activated and the new box she swapped my old one with is just plug and play and I should be good to go. Went home and the cable box was still deactivated and the remote on the new cable box she gave me does not work. Went back again for the third time today hoping to resolve my issues and the wait list is longer now. I was given 2 remotes and the cable box was activated, and the rep told me I am good to go. Went home and both of the remote didn't work. This is just unacceptable. I'm thinking of getting rid of my spectrum cable because of this experience. read more

My wife and I went to Spectrum today 11/11/2021 and got a great deal on our mobile. We changed from Verizon to Spectrum and are happy about it. Our sales specialist, Tam Pham, did an excellent job in helping us in the transition from Verizon to Spectrum. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to us. Also, friendly and professional. The people there are friendly and approachable. They are very easy to talk to. I gave them 3 stars because the waiting time is just too much. I was there at 11am to return some old equipments in replacement of the new ones I got the week prior but I have to wait for an hour and there is no room for you to sit because the chairs are too close to each other so I have to find my own space in a small corner standing to social distance myself from the rest of the people waiting as well.. read more

I've been a customer with this company for over 30 yrs. even before it was TWC. My "plan(s)", Internet and TV, have remained the same and managed to not be upsold by the sales people. Prices are too high as it is and I don't need a bundle that has a bunch of crap I don't need. My Wi-Fi had been getting very slow at home so I went to the Cypress store and had the heavy sales push blah, blah, blah etc. These people won't let up and I just needed my connection quality restored. They tell me since my equipment is outdated I need to get on a higher tier plan to get the speeds everyone else is getting. I was never advised of system changes or that I needed to swap out anything for over 20 yrs. They finally get the hint they can't sell me anything and give me a new router and sent me on my way. I can't see any of my equipment on the website to activate the Router only to go back again to be told my Modem is not compatible with their Router they just gave me. So now I have the 2 "new" pieces of equipment they gave me and they don't show up on my account to activate through the website ! After almost 3 hours with customer support on the phone being transferred back and forth to sales which had to try and upsell me on everything I don't want I realized I'd be better off just to buy my own new Modem / Router. $175 later my equipment is activated through the vendor website and the speed is still slooow and it's not the equipment it's their feed and they're holding me hostage for more $$$ to upgrade my plan. They want to blackmail into paying $50 more a month to get the speed I should have been getting all along ! Needless to say I've had enough of their upselling no customer service and going elsewhere where I can get an introductory offer way cheaper than I'm paying now. This is how Spectrum treats their legacy customers that have been with them for 30 plus years. If they can't upsell you you're going to get very little to no help. read more
