This location needs a better system for customers that are returning equipment only. I waited for about 30 minutes as a walk in because why would I schedule an appointment for something so simple as dropping off. There were only two employees behind the computers and another making sure you signed in. Of course they accommodate the appointments first which is why they should have a dedicated employee or section to drop off. I didn't feel like waiting because there were a couple people ahead of me and who knew if any more appointments would show up before me. I headed over to The UPS Store in the same plaza and was in and out of there in 5 minutes!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and just run to The UPS Store instead. read more

I came into this location to drop off some equipment since I cancelled my service. I thought it would be pretty fast but I turned out to be wrong.. I walked inside and looked around, there were a few people waiting on the side and about 4 employees talking to customers. I saw a kiosk which said sign in so I did. I then waited for a representative. I was sitting for about 5min when the lady who was waiting next to me told me she had been waiting for about 25min already. The store opened at 10 and it was only 10:30. I was in a queue with 4 other names. I waited about 20min before they finally called my name. I told them I cancelled my service and I just needed to drop the equipment off. He made sure my bill was paid and said you're good to go. I cancelled beginning of February but they still charged me all of February which was a little frustrating.. Anyways, I think they should have more employees on the floor to help more people. How do you forget to apply the trade in value of my old phone so that I can apply it to my new phone when one of your representatives told what the trade in value was? And now if I want to apply the trade in value I have return said phone wait 30 days and then re-order. So ridiculous what I'm pretty sure a simple mistake that can be corrected needs to take 30+ days to resolve. That just tells me that you have MANY customers that's in the same boat as me and the thought just went in my mind right now. I am deliberately accusing this store of NOT forgetting to apply the trade in value of my own phone just so the store can generate revenue from customers. To think this was my 100th Yelp review and I wanted to review a nice restaurant but no I had use it at this place. This network provider is terrible, absolutely terrible. They never give customers peace of mind. There are problems almost every month. I have to go there frequently to clarify these unreasonable issues. And this month, my phone bill suddenly increased from $42.77 to $57.77 (for just one line). I am very tired and frustrated with this network provider. Do you feel the same way as I do using Spectrum? Service was great and fast. I was in and out in no time. I was expecting to wait a bit but was pleasantly surprised by the fast service.

I have been with them for over 10 years. The first 6 years I had constant disconnections. I called constantly to report no service, they would come out and give me new modems. Never did they check the wiring. Finally an employee rewired and I was able to get more consistent internet service. Then the rates more than doubled. I questioned the bill, they encouraged me to try the TV box, stating that if I didn't like it they would decrease my billing rate. I returned it, they kept my rate the same! Apparently there are 2 different rates: the box and the service. Here's the catch: I called in the month after I returned it, the man explained the 2 different charges and he'd get it taken care of. A month later it was still on the bill. They won't credit me back even though it was obvious their employee didn't do the job. I'm happy to report there are other internet companies in my area, whereas it was a monopoly when I moved here. I will be leaving Spectrum this month. read more

Service Tech Jordan came out because the fiber people has severed the coax from the street when they installed their ONT a decade ago. Nice of them, eh? A new cable had to be run from the box to the house. Jordan did a great job including explaining what needed doing and putting up with my questions. Jordan accommodated my desire to NOT have unsightly coax stapled to my newly painted home, so I assisted by crawling the attic to feed the coax where it needed to go. He was glad he didn't have to do that. Jordan arrived on time, and was finished in less than an hour. I really didn't want to give up my fiber internet, but the price is so high, and Frontier won't cough up new customer pricing, and won't bring the price down to a reasonable amount. So cable it is at less than half the price and 5x the speed. Only time will tell how it works out. read more

But they said they couldn't due anything without her or her death certificate and if we didn't pay (which she currently has a zero balance due to auto pay!) they would ruin her credit by sending her account to collections!! Spectrum Internet service is stable. Except they only quote downstream bandwidth. Upstream bandwidth is very poor. Beach location, staff are nice. Biggest issue, they charge you for your last month no matter what. You can cancel service immediately during your current month, return all equipment next day and they'll still charge you last month that you are unable to use. There are many complaints filed against them in various states because of this. How to disconnect service without paying a lot? Reduce your monthly cost to the smallest possible (return boxes, remove channels, reduce internet bandwidth) and then cancel. This will take some time, so plan ahead. Save your self hundreds. Rating it one star because they make it difficult and costly to cancel. I will never do business with Spectrum again because of these shady business practices. Canceling Spectrum Internet is harder than that gym membership you still haven't canceled yet. read more

Customer service was horrible and quality doesn't exist when you have to do all the work. Value is expensive with hidden charges, misc leading promotion and dishonest business practices. I never work remotely during the COVID time and they charged me an extra $30 a month thinking I worked from home?? I had to deal with their bullshit cheating, asked them to check my database to before slapping with the additional charges. I had network, cable and cell phones for the past 6 yrs but cancelled a month ago. Nowadays, you can't trust these vendors, people check your account every month before paying your bill. Okay I am not a huge Spectrum fan but this location changed me. I'm super flakey and was supposed to go in and change out boxes but I don't until they stop working because who has the time? Right?? Anyway, one of my boxes went out so I finally go in just dreading the whole process and it was actually great! I got put with Cherie Sanchez who was just sweet, cute and lovely. She was trying so hard to help me and then Chung Choi came out and he was so much fun and so helpful!! Like guys, we had a great time and, like I said, I'm not a huge Spectrum corporation fan but I saw what these guys have to deal with everyday and they were killing it. They have some great people working at this location. They took a lot of time with me and helped me a lot. Chung even trained me on a new device. Today, I was trying to return my wifi router at this Spectrum location and upon entry, all the workers just stared at me without offering to help and redirected me to "check in at the ipad," which I did for 10 seconds pressing buttons on the screen until someone came and said, "okay I can help you." What was the point in all that??? Oh man. Also, Cuong did not even provide me detailed information about why he couldn't help me today, he just sent me out the door and I had to get my dad to go in on my behalf, because maybe they would take him seriously! Not me! Not a small young asian adult! Gosh, and all the workers were just overhearing our conversation with nothing else to do. Very very weird store layout that you can hear everyone's business. If only I could put no stars... cause I would. I don't remember the gentleman that helped me but I remember him being a very tall over 6ft caucasian man. I am so upset. Of course we can't complain to spectrum because they won't do anything about it... In January I just moved into the area so I had to, unfortunately cancel my AT&T fiber Internet plan that I was very happy with, due to AT&T not servicing this area. So my partner and I decided the same day we moved to our new apartment to get internet. So we decided to go to the store and get the internet same day! Which that was amazing. What I don't appreciate is being lied to about how much I'm going to be paying a month. So we had asked about all the payment plans they offer. He first informed us of Al the plans. Of course we chose the 1gb due to us playing video games, but before we can say yes, he told us that it was $90 for the service. I quietly talk it to my partner and told him that with our other company we would pay $65 for fiber. As he over heard our conversation he says, "oh wait look at that, there is a promotion and you'd get that plan for $65." We asked him if he was sure and he told us yes, right now we wouldn't have to pay anything we will from a month from now. (Which is after you can cancel for free) he asked us if we wanted to be on autopay due to it being 5$ cheaper we told him no. He even put us on autopay even though we declined the offer. I thought it was weird because the paper he gave us did not include the $65 pricing he kept the paper that he wrote it would be $65 a month. I honestly never have felt cheated. Don't lie to people to make a sale.. We where still going to pay the $90 dollars regardless because we need the speed so there was no need to lie to us.... It's just very upsetting. I can't believe spectrum allowed people to just constantly lie to people. And there is no way to get them for it cause it's always their word against ours... read more

Worst customer service ever..... I came to this store and started 10th in line. Vietnamese employee does not follow the process. Apparently, if you speak Vietnamese she'll service you first. I saw two people get serviced before me even though I came before them. Mind you, I'm also Vietnamese. As I was waiting, a random lady came in complaining and she got immediate service. If I could give a negative score I would as Spectrum does not care what they do to People. I got an email that says an upgrade would be done to the Internet tonight from 12:00 am to 12:00 pm and Internet service will be down. The problem is I work from home and if I am without service ,I am unable to work and my company will say I have to fund time not worked from my personal/Sick time. When I called, I asked why they could not do this Maintenance on the weekend as it is 12 hours, they said maintenance determines it and could not ask them why. If you have Spectrum, look into Frontier if you just do streaming. A friend just made the switch and loves Frontier If you have problems with Spectrum then look into getting rid of them now read more

Upon coming into this physical spectrum location, I had a good experience. Checking in was seamless and easy, employees were friendly and communicated well. We needed to return some equipment so we could go full Roku and use only the spectrum app, which is going to save us $100 on our bill - wow. I personally haven't had any bad experiences yet with spectrum, except maybe a few aggressive sales people in stores like Walmart, but mostly, they are helpful and kind. Our plan is now Spectrum TV choice which includes all basic channels and 15 of the selections listed. We really like it, as we already have great high speed internet and use our Roku for everything when it comes to TV. read more
