I went inside to get my account issues fixed. There was only 1 customer in the store and two associates available. I was told to just have a seat and wait. 20 minutes later, nothing. 30 minutes went by and I got up and left. Nobody said anything. Very shady and deceptive~!!! Went in on Black Friday back in 2023 for a promo offering a free iPhone, iPad, & iWatch. I was told that all I had to pay was for the taxes and some fees for the 3 items and there would not be any disconnection fees should I ever want to disconnect the services. Unfortunately, that's what they said to simply gain my business, however this was not true. I disconnected my services in 2026 only to find out that there was 36 month contract and there were payout fees for the 3 items. Never going to sign up with Verizon in my life again. Felt like dealing with a used car dealership with all the lies to switch me over to Verizon. Spent over 3 months on the phone with Verizon trying to explain my case, but no one of any real help. They eventually sent my case to collections and I was forced to pay the payout fees. Yea... Never again Verizon~!!!! read more

They charged my account 3 times for the same services in one month along with taking a service off my account that mysteriously came back. We also traded in our phones which they accepted and cleared but now I'm in paying off 2 cell phones when I was shown and told the phones cleared there standards. I have been on the phone with Verizon Wireless for months and still haven't gotten the problem fixed. Walked into the store yesterday around 1:30PM. Greeted the staff and LUPE responds: 'We'll be right with you.' After about a ten minute wait, she then in SPANISH says: '¿Cómo le podemos ayudar?' Good thing I know Spanish too but thought-at what point did we speak Spanish? Moving on here, she takes my info and starts to work on my cell. It had a cracked screen cover. Now, a previous customer walks in (apparently they told her to leave and come back and her cell would be ready.) Are you ready for this here? Lupe STOPS what she's doing with my cell and continues to help this woman that walked in. Never once saying: 'Excuse me Sir, let me just finish up with her and be right with you.' Better yet, tell that customer, 'Almost done here and I'll be right with you.' Lupe had options. Multi tasking is not for everyone. In walks Julian, the Employee of the Year, with all respect. Not only does he pick up where Lupe left off but he did all this in 7 minutes! DM's out there, take note please. A customer MAKES or Brakes a business. I know because I owned one for over 20 years. February 2026 I purchased a new iPhone 17 from Verizon in cypress. This is my business phone. After signing up I was given a temporary number. And the sales rep said it would transfer my old number in 1 hour. That didn't happen. 5 days later and after going back to the store every day it finally transferred. Needless to say it affected my business very badly. Then on May 12th one of my employees came to me and said "what's wrong with your phone we have been trying to call you". I checked my phone and when I tried to make a call it said CALL FAILED. I went back to Verizon to try to find out why. The rep tried to correct the problem but he couldn't. He then tried tech support. The lady in tech support tried for 30 minutes still it did not work. Then she just hung up on us. The rep called back and got a man. Again he tried but still it did not work. After being there for 3 hours I was told it would take 24 to 48 hours to restore service. I came back the next day we tried again still it did not work. I went to Walmart and pitched a pre paid phone just to try to contact my customers. On May 14th tech support said they would fed ex me a new phone one night but I had to pay $12.99 to have it shipped to me. I didn't want to pay they should have sent it to me. But after arguing with the lady at tech support I finally paid the $12.99 for the phone. It did arrive at my house until May 18th. 3 days later. Finally it's now working. But I am now afraid it may happen again. 2 days later I got a call from Verizon they wanted to compensate me for the time my phone did not work. They offered me $65 per month off of my bill for 1 year. I told them no I lost close to $2,000 in sales from my business and I had to buy a temporary phone plus pay to have the new phone shipped to me. After arguing with her for 30 minutes I told her I was going to file a case in small claims court. Again we argued more. Finally they decided to compensate me $2000 credit on my phone so I won't have a bill for at least a year. But this sill does not help me for the money I lost. The first phone I had was defective and they should have known that in the beginning. I finally settled not that I wanted to but because I just was to angry to keep arguing as soon as I can I will get away from Verizon. read more

In February of this year I opened a new account at Verizon on Katella Ave in Cypress. The representative was Chris. After setting up g me up with my new phone I was given a temporary phone number into my original number transferred over. Now this is my business phone number so for me to wait a period of time for the number to transfer was a bit upsetting because I didn't want to loose any customers. Long story short. 5 days later my number still did not transfer. On top of that when people called they were told my number was no longer in service. Then my phone stopped working I couldn't make calls or receive calls. I kept going back to the store everyday and all they could tell me is it will be on soon. Finally it was on but I could not get calls or text messages from anyone that had an Android phone. 2 days later that was resolved. Now on Tuesday this week 5/12/26. One of my employees came to me and said "What's wrong with your phone? We have been calling you. I checked my phone and sure enough it was not working. I had a SOS message on my phone. I went back to Verizon to find out what was wrong. The representative called support and got a lady that was in the Philippines. She tried to connect us. So she put us on hold for 30 minutes. The representative finally asked mame are you there? She said yes I am here but gave us no information. She put us on hold again. Another thirty minutes no reply. Again we asked are you there? Again she said yes but did not give us any information. After a while she just hung up. This was very frustrating we called again and got a man from the Philippines again. This time he was more informative but he told us it will take 24 to 48 hours to get my phone back on. Yesterday I went back to the store Tyrone called the assistant line again. A man from the Philippines answered we were on line for 1 hour. Again we were told it will take 24 to 48 hours to get it back on. He said he would fill out a ticket for tech support. But it will take a longtime. Remind you this is my business phone. I can't make call or receive calls. Text messages come through a hour after I send them. At this point was was very angry. I told them all I want to to get rid of this company and go back to my old phone service company. I told them I just want someone that can get me out of this. The representative from the Philippines hung up on us again. Today is Thursday 5/14/25. Still I my phone is not working. Last night o went to Walmart and brought a prepaid phone just so I can keep in contact with my customers and family. Please stay was from Verizon. read more

Horrible experience. I ordered my phone online to pick up at this store. They never alerted me to pick up so they cancelled my order. I went back to pick out my new phone, the didn't give me full credit for my old phone as I was promised online or credit me $10 a month on my bill like they said for the inconvenience of cancelled order. Ive actually had to intervene on behalf of customers with some of these "salespeople" who were seriously abusing seniors who did not quite understand that they were being mistreated by the staff. hard to say what their angle was? Maybe its just the way i was raised, but when an older person looks worried and confused about why theyve been stuck in a cel phone store for over 4 hours, you know somethings seriously up. All i can think of, is that they were being worn down, so they would make a poor decision in order to escape the madness. besides their obvious rudeness to customers, when the store first opened it looked like it was empty and you were entering the wrong building, the only reason why i went in to begin with was that they had a sign up in the window that said to come in and ask them about universal lifeline service. When i did, the salesguy, said "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" i explained the basics of that service and showed him the sign in the window. he simply said "I HAVE NO IDEA WHY WE WOULD BOTHER WITH ANYONE NOT SPENDING ANY MONEY HERE?" He then told me not to bother him and just to call Verizon directly. i hit up another Verizon store in Cerritos ca,(by the wal-mart) where the salesman apologized and gave me a few details i needed... If youre not sure and need help from a Verizon retailer, got to Cerritos where they were very polite and open to my questions about any of there services.. the difference was worth the trip. You should seriously avoid this store at all costs. im assuming the service is the same, but the way this tore has been run has been amazingly bad every time ive made the mistake of stepping inside. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for the past 23 years. I have never had a better experience than here at Cypress Verizon. Ever. Chris is amazingly patient, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely here to help his customers. Really. I had to visit his branch SEVERAL times due to a transfer issue from AT&T, and his calm and helpful demeanor said it all. I did visit a couple other branches near by in my area, but I will be returning to Cypress Verizon simply because of the customer service. read more

Update: so i had received my bill from verizon and i was wondering why my bill was almost $1000. I do have 10 lines which included the hotspot that i originally went to this store to upgrade which i thought they helped me out with. Turns out they just added a new line to my account instead of upgrading my original hotspot line. My original hotspot on my account that was supposed to be upgraded had a charge like if i had the hotspot and it said i owed $400 on that hotspot when i didn't have it. The reason why i wanted to upgrade my original hotspot cuz it was time, my hotspot wouldn't turn on anymore and i couldn't wait to get it in the mail. Not coming to this store again. I had a huge stressful situation with my mom's phone under my brother account ! Now my brother doesn't want to pay her bill. I had to set up new account but she wants to keep her phone & same #. I went to Verizon's store transferred to Royalty Dept. it was very difficult situation but representer name "KEN " was so helpful & patients with me and handled it perfectly what way I need to be done for my moms phone. We talked to Iyana at this store back in November and I wish I would have stuck to my gut. She had no knowledge of the phones and came off as if she was under the influence or something. I can't tell you how many times she said "sorry, I'm out of it today" when trying to do the simplest task and then laughing it off. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because it was towards the end of the day and I figured maybe she was just tired. We stuck it out because we needed new phones and hoped to take care of it before the end of the year. The phones were on back order for 3-4 weeks, so they said they'd call us when they came in. 1 month later still no phone call and almost impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store. Finally went back in today (2 months later) to find out that the phones had come in but no one contacted us. To make matters worse, Iyana quoted us bad information that the manager said they could not honor so we went from a $1660 discount for 2 phones to a $400 discount. I was not impressed with the customer service from the manager once he realized his employee totally screwed us and wasted our time. Won't be coming back to this location. read more

This store told me they had to charge me $40 to transfer my cell service to my new phone eventhough I already have a Verizon acct. I had already transferred all of my data so it was just the service that needed to be transferred. I went to the Verizon store in Anaheim Hills and they took care of it in 4 mins and told me there was no charge since I already have an acct. The Los Alamitos location cannot be trusted. read more

The new phone I got works great and the old phone trade-in process went smoothly. Everything I was told was what I got which built trust. We had the Play more plan and it was switched to the Unlimited Welcome plan which is not comparable...no hot spot, no device trade in credit promotions. The customer service is good but it would be nice to be acknowledged when you walk in. This business is small so there will always be a wait, specifically on the weekends. They recommended an appointment but the number redirects you to a corporation so if you want to do anything in person i do not recommend you call. I've had multiple terrible experiences here. I purchased a new phone in June using a trade in promotion. I left my old phone with them and qualified for an $800 trade in credit. This store never sent my old device to Verizon so the $800 was charged BACK to my account. I called Verizon and the store multiple times and visited the store two more times in person. I was told a manager would call me and he never did. I went in person and the manager told me corporate would call and they never did. I have to wonder if they are straight up just scamming people. They did finally send my device sometime in July but only authorized a $400 credit. They also didn't switch me to the right plan so I was charged extra for that. I had 3 Gizmo lines for my granddaughters and they have had difficulty getting to work earlier this year. After researching this I learned that the reason for the non-functionality was that they were 3 g devices and Verizon had already started dismantling their 3g towers earlier this year. So the use of 3g devices are hit and miss, depending where you are. But that complaint is about Verizon, not this store. My gripe about this store is the following. After I took delivery of a new Gizmo II from Verizon and brought it to this store and asked them to upgrade one of my Gizmo lines with it. After I looked at my bill recently, I discovered that they had added a 4th gizmo line instead of upgrading a line. I complained to Verizon about this and they told me that the new device is NOT shown as an upgrade. read more

I recently went into this Verizon store for help transferring data from my old iphone to a recently purchased Verizon new iphone. There were five sales reps just standing around talking with no one else in the store. I asked for help since and they refused to help or look at the phone unless I paid them $40. This is lowest level of customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT purchase any phones from this store as they will charge you for help! However they are quick to sell you phones and service but once you purchase there is no assistance unless you pay them a ransom fee. I purchased 2 phones and traded one in. When I got home I realized my trade in was not on my receipt. I called the phone number on the invoice. Their phone number goes directly to Verizon, who told me they do not show the trade in. They tried to call the store but would not give me the direct number which is no where on line. Again this is a Verizon number that has to contact the store themselves.. still not able to speak with someone at store. Someone at the store please contact me. UPDATE:Never heard anything from the store. My husband drove to the store two days later and explained the trade in phone was not on the receipt and Verizon did not have any record of it. If I can give this store less stars I would. We were sold a plan that was to be cheaper than I was paying already. Come to find out it's 40 more a month! We were sold on hey we get a loyalty discount, senior discount and a Disney employee discount! I called Verizon to see what's going on, come to find out their is no such thing as a senior discount, Disney employee discount is not available on this plan. Victra you guys need to be shut down for this crap or someone needs to be hold accountable. Lousiest service ever at this location. First we went to get a trade in deal from Verizon offer and we're told there wasn't one and they tried to over sale us on other stuff and additional cost. Eventually we dealt with Verizon online service and got the trade in same day with full offer and only ended up paying for the activation fee and sales taxes. Since we were able to get this deal we decided to do two additional trades on two other lines. We paid and only waited for the pickup confirmation. Confirmation never came but we received a transaction cancellation. We decided to go to the pickup location (this one) and the same guy from the previous encounter had decided to simply cancel the entire order because they did not have one of the phones we had ordered. No call. No text. No offer for a different color phone. Nope they just canceled it and moved on. Avoid this store at all cost. They aren't worth your time or money. read more

I would give this store location more than 5 stars rating if the app allow me to do so. Last month I came to the store and needed help to port my account from t-mobile to verizon for good promotions. Dylan, a store manager, spent hours with me to call verizon customer service and talk to them. My problem solved perfectly. Contrast to this, a few moment earlier I had visited the verizon kiosk inside costco which was a few steps away the store (5401 katella ave, cypress, ca). Three employees refused to help me out and told me to make a call myself. I told them i did call verizon many times for 5 days but my problems were still there. TLDR: This isn't a Verizon franchise-owned store, so you aren't getting the customer service you might expect from Verizon itself. Not only did I not appreciate the way I was spoken to, but I was actually lied to in an effort to make me spend money I didn't need to spend. Read on if you want the deets. I came here needing help from an organization that I thought I could trust. My current iPhone died out of nowhere, and I also lost my job in the tech layoffs so I really hoped I could get a replacement. Came to this store and told them my situation, especially the part that I didn't want to spend any money if I didn't have to. A sales guy (I believe his name was Daniel, but I could be wrong) very much behaved the way you'd expect a sales guy to behave. At first he was helpful when he looked up my account info and told me that my family could be saving more money by moving to a new plan, but when it came to fixing my immediate problem, he told me my only option was to buy a new iPhone. From there, he brought out the only iPhone 14s they had, none of which were the color I would have wanted. When I told him I wanted white, he said they didn't have it, nor did any other Verizon stores in Orange County. So basically, I needed to just buy it there and now. I felt so defeated; I needed to drop all this money and on a phone I didn't even want. I asked him to give me a minute as I weighed my options, and after giving me less than a minute to myself, he proceeded to say, in a very condescending tone, that "it's just a color, it shouldn't matter." When you're spending that much money on a device you'll be living with for several years, yes, it does matter. The longer this went on, I started to feel very pressured and didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me. The things he was telling me also just didn't seem right. I decided if he wasn't going to let me process this information in their store, then I'd go somewhere else, so I left. I went to an actual Verizon store in Fullerton and received not only exceptional customer service, but they confirmed this guy had lied to me. They had the iPhone 14 in the color I wanted, and said there were other stores nearby who had it, too. Not only that, but they told me my family's plan had insurance on my phone, so I actually didn't even need to buy one if I didn't want to. They sent me the same iPhone I currently had the next day, and all I had to do was send in my old one. Suffice it to say I was very unhappy with the way I was treated here. I'm glad I had the sense to step away, even though I was desperate to get my phone back up and running. "They're just trying to make money off of you, and at a moment when you're vulnerable" is what the proper Verizon store told me, and it is so true. read more

I love people who want your business, I always helped my customers, when I worked. Lidia Ruiz the Kiosk Manager was so nice, we came back to do our upgrades with her. This is an indirect Verizon Store. Not the Direct corporate Verizon Store. When you call customer service all representatives recommend you walk out immediately and go to Thier Direct Corporate Stores. I asked several times how purchasing my phone at this store will impact me negatively opposed to going to the direct store and the reps just shrugged and said it doesn't. And thats the case...Until you have a problem! And that's why Customer Service Highly suggests you don't purchase your phones here. I had a terrible experience the other day at this store and I'm still waiting for them to credit my credit card as promised without the penalty restocking fees and extra charges as my phone was dead on arrival. Huge disconnect where my phone received no text messages and intermitted phone calls. Which to their credit happens at times but they were out of stock of my Note 5 and would have been left stranded with no phone till they could order me one. Which as any parent knows is terrible when you can't be reached by anyone handling your children. That being said they are still trying to stick me with BS charges and not giving all my money back so i could buy my phone at the Direct Store who has one immediately for me. (Really not cool) Causing someone more Financial Hardship when it legitimately didn't work out. I highly suggest driving down the street and purchasing your phone at the Verizon Store Directly.
