I would give 0 stars if possible. My husband and I came to this store so he could trade in and get the new iPhone 17 promotion. He was told the only way to do this was to add a phone line so his trade in phone could count towards the new one. Which is fine we did and we were given the amount his bill would be after this was done. Come to find out the first months bill was about $70 more then we were quoted. We went to another t mobile store where we found out that his bill did not show any phone was traded in. This is highly suspicious of fraud since we handed in the phone that same day in the store to the female worker. Now it says I need a pin and I have no way to access the money or even see the full card number. ** TLDR: Don't go here, they are not helpful, especially the manager. Go to a company store, you will have a much better experience. ** I went to the store to upgrade my iPhone. They were hesitant to help but I insisted. The manager, Juan, looked at my trade in and said that he's afraid that T-Mobile might reject my trade in due to the condition of the device (just some scratches on the screen) and that I should just contact T-Mobile and upgrade online, and that would be the best way for me to upgrade. I said that if T-Mobile sent it back that's fine, I'll just deal with it. Besides, when I look at the trade in policy, it says scratches from normal wear and tear are ok. He then told me that if he sent the phone in from his store and T-Mobile rejects it , his store would take the hit and he would not take the trade in. So I called T-Mobile customer service and they reviewed the device trade in policy, assured me that the device, even if it had "deep scratches" can be turned in. They said they would put the notes in the system, just go back to the store, ask them to review the notes and they should take it, if I have any problems just call them back. At this point I think it was clear to Juan that I was on the phone with customer service because he had locked himself in the back office for what would be a two hour "lunch break". But I digress. I told the T-Mobile store rep that I had talked to T- mobile customer care, please read the notes/ guidance that they provided in your system, I would please like to trade in my phone. The rep said "let me ask my manager". She walked in the back to talk to Juan. When she came back out, despite guidance from T-Mobile, the store rep said "my manager told me we will not accept the device". So now I'm on the line with customer service....... again, I'm an hour and a half into this stupid ordeal for I don't know what reason. The customer service rep asked me to put the store rep on the line and explained to them that they need to take the device, even if it had "deep scratches" because that was within company policy for returns. The store rep said "let me ask Juan again but I don't think he's going to take it". The rep went to the back to Juan, who was still locked in the back office, and relayed the message. At this time the manager says he'll take the device "this time". Ok, maybe not the best customer service but finally right? Progress, let's get this done so I can go back to my weekend. Nope, not to be..... So when ringing me up for my new iPhone they said their "system was not accepting my new phone". I said ok, try again? She said she tried 5 times and it wasn't working. Tried again, didn't work, something about the sim for that phone. Ok, get me another phone, let's try that one. "We don't have another one". How about a 512 gigabyte model? My boyfriend and I went to this store and from the moment we walked in it was unwelcoming with the girl that worked there yesterday late afternoon. We discussed with her what we needed assistance with and every answer she gave she had an attitude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. She never pulled up the account and said any transaction she does they charge $35. She then told us to just call customer support. When we walked out completely dissatisfied with the service we realized it was not a tmobile store it's an affiliate/franchise. After searching for an actual tmobile store we found one nearby on Knott & Katella. Walked in with a cheerful greeting and was assisted by Yasseen who helped us with every question and took care of the problems we were having. He was very informative. If you are in the area you should go to the Knott & Katella location better service and assistance. So glad we didn't let our experience at the Seal Beach location stop us from finding a better location to assist us. read more

My family and I had a horrible experience here with the store manager Juan Medina. He lacked transparency when he was helping us search for new phone upgrades. He told us he would find us a cheap plan, which we agreed to but once we received our bill it increased by over $100. We came back to the store so that he could explain to us what was going on, but once he got frustrated by us he refused us service and kicked us out of the store. I've been a T-Mobile customer for years, and this is the rudest location I've ever been to. The employees don't even bother greeting you, and sit around involved in their personal conversations. When they do "help" you, it's done incompetently, lazily and with a ton of attitude. It's not the customers' fault you're working in retail and hate it. I had an issue with an item they had sold me, and two of the employees went behind me and started loudly whispering and giggling. Wow, junior high bullying at a T-Mobile store?! I'm not sure if the manager is hiring their friends to work here, and sponsoring this BS, or if they're just uninvolved and unaware. But corporate should definitely make an unannounced visit to this location, and check out the clowns running the circus. If you're in the area, go to the location closer to Leisure World. I needed a new screen protector for my 8+. The young man sitting at the table just outside the front door told me my phone would only be good till March. That all phones up to 11 would no longer work. So did I still want to purchase the protector. I told him I knew that wasn't true because that would mean only the 13 would work. I read articles and knew 6 and up would still work fine. Just because I have grey hair doesn't mean I'm not tech savvy. They lost a sale. I went to Target and purchased what I wanted. 2/16/22 I called the store yesterday after I left to speak to the manager and was told she had left for the day. It was 4:00. Went in today because my sons phone screen was broken enough that the touch sensor on the phone no longer functioned properly. When we walked in the employee was sitting in the back of the store on his phone with no one in the store. I thought we had the protection/insurance but upon pulling up the account the employee said we did not have it for that phone. I said "we should have it on all devices can you check to see that?" He said, "I just did." With an annoyed attitude. I said, "on the other devices there is no coverage?" He then said, "oh, let me check." The whole time he responded with an attitude like I was bothering him. He confirmed coverage for our other phones just not this one. I asked what we could do and he said we could go to a 3rd party store to get the screen fixed. He didn't even offer upgrading the phone despite that fact that it was eligible and he could have gotten a commission. I could tell I was unwelcome and bothering him by my presence and we left. I've been a T-Mobile customer for 2 years now, i have 4 additional people that pay their part of the bill. I started a new position at a hair salon that is down the street from this location. It seemed very convenient for me because I can go in before or after work depending on my schedule and it's next to the freeway that I exit to or go back home.
