Great pies, definitely advise the spicy vodka.. crust was so thick too! Staff were super friendly and quick to take my order. Loved hearing their recommendations too

I had high hopes for this place after seeing a few videos on Instagram recently. I tried their truffle shuffle and it was decent at best. I feel like this place has a ton of potential to be super cool if they just live it up a little bit by even playing a little music. The inside decor of the place was really cool, and the customer service was pleasant. I did notice that they have like a little pick up window. Where perhaps you could grab a slice and go versus going inside. Parking is on the street and free. If you're unsure about trying this place, I recommend going during lunch for their lunch special but to buy a whole pie I don't know if it would be worth it unless you're sharing with people

Ordered a Detrot and got a loaf of bread:( As a native of southeast Michigan, I consider myself a Detroit pizza expert. As such, I've been looking for a local joint that can come close to replicating Buddy's or even Buscemi's pizza. Another strikeout here. Best so far is Ria's in HB and my own kitchen, of course.

I have to say, this is probably the worst slice deal in America (and I've eaten a lot of slices at a lot of places). With tax and tip each slice came out to a little over $10, in this economy?! However, their full Pizza prices are in line with what you would expect from a place like this, so this is probably a place I would only recommend coming if you want a whole pizza. It does have a very cute ambiance and it's a bit of a cozy location with not a ton of seating, but it gets the job done. I was also a little disappointed because of the hype around the crust, it really didn't taste that unique, but one of the pizzas I had was very flavorful (the Truffle Shuffle). I really regret not getting the vodka slice because the gentleman at the counter said the other option was better, but I've heard very good things about their vodka pizza from others. At some point I would like to come back here and give this another try, maybe in a group setting and getting a whole pizza to-go. I also heard their ranch is very good, but I forgot to try it this time. Food: 3/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 1/5 (for slices) Overall: 3/5

Long Beach's cornerstone pizza shop that has a lot to say and definitely here to stay. It proudly boasts a finely tuned sourdough, perfecting the crust and overall feeling to the dough. Throughout every visit, they've hit all the marks when it comes to different types of pies and each experience was consistently awesome. Offering more than just slices and squares, theres always something for someone. I recommend any of their hot honey or burrata pieces as it's my favorite combo but that veggie mushroom pizza is another level too. They always are quick with orders or heating up slices but i do recommend calling in when busy. Stepping in always feels like getting a classic pizza shop experience with big city quality. People are free to enjoy their slice and just hangout in or outside. The weekends are almost movie like with a friendly neighborhood vibe that will reel you in.

Music is great, some seat available and the service is great. The pizza its self is fantastic, can't go wrong with a pepperoni here. Shoutout to the cooks in the back and the Owner!

Yes, please, thank you, and may I have another? Speak Cheezy is everything good about pizza and definitely one of the top pizza shops in Long Beach for a reason. I ordered the Brooklyn Bee. The crust was incredible, and the ingredients used were delicious and well balanced throughout the pie (including the hot honey - yum!). I ordered online for an easy breezy pickup. The hardest part is just finding parking when it's peak hours.

    SPICY VODKA MEATBALL
    Jasmine M.

Hands down one of the best pizzas in the area. This pizza is so unique and I'm obsessed!! As a spicy vodka rigatoni pasta enthusiast, I gravitated toward the Spicy Vodka Meatball and the sauce is incredible. The mozzarella pairs well with the spice and the every topping balances each other out. It is a bit pricey but honestly I think it's worth it! You can't find a pizza like this anywhere else Although I've only been here a few times, the workers are always nice and good vibes! They even help me narrow down what I should get when it was my first time.

Pizza and carb lover conosseuirs (can't spell this word, sorry) unite!!! If you have an addiction born out of the COVID lockdown, you can visit this place that makes this carb for their pizzas. I got the LBC (Long Beach City) pizza and the smell alone was heavenly. Crispy crust with that bubbled crust and thin slice of dough baked to perfection and not overloaded with toppings(unless you want to add extra toppings), this was very good. The kicker are those cups of pepperoni which are a cardiologists nightmare but a pizza lovers dream on top. Service was quick even though most people seemed to have called in their orders ahead of time(smart) and I was informed it would be a 155 minute wait for my pie, I didn't mind. Ambience is pretty much grab and go although there is bar stool seating and 2 tables if you want to eat in the shop. All pies are 14 inches in diameter and, as mentioned before, you can always add toppings to your pies if you want. A little on the pricey side, but you can't mess with quality as their dough is formented for 4-5 days (?) and the quality ingredients can't be beat. Parking is limited with a small lot in the back and street parking. Credit/debit only, no cash. Oh, and they also sell shaved ice too. Slices are available, but limited to what they offer that day, so be flexible with your menu choices. Happy eating!!

Update: The seasonal pizzas are recommended. I have tried the bean and cheese pizza and the esquites pizza and both are amazing. The esquites pizza is very unique but probably the best pizza I have ever had

Staff at the counter were great giving me recommendations since it was my first time. And of course, I awkwardly picked none of them! I ordered a Smokey Pepperoni pie and decided to wait with a slice of cheese (not pictured) as a test control. I think sourdough pizza changed my life. The crust is so light and crispy, which is how I like pizza dough as a native from the East Coast. We also got a slice of the Spicy Pancetta Chicken Ranch. I love the fresh dill, it really made it pop! Inside has a few chairs and tables to sit and eat but it's mostly quick service.

Pizzas by the Slice are available. (Today all 3 were the thicker style of pizzas) They usually have their 3 best sellers available for the slice options $7+ The slice i ordered is the LBC: Crushed Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Ezzo Pepperoni, House Fennel Sausage, Ricotta, Sliced Garlic, Sicilian Oregano, Parmesan Quality sourdough, good ingredients. I prefer them NY style but i will come back w a few people to try their whole pie! The gentleman that assisted me was very friendly and detailed! Thank you (Parking in the rear)

receipt: ready by 8:33 and got it at 8:54..
    Poetuh V.

The wait for my item was too long. I had one order, which was a to dye pizza. I ordered ahead of time, 30 min ahead. I wasn't expecting my pizza to be done when i got there as I got there about 3 min before it was ready. That was no biggie, I came inside let them know and they said it would only take about 5 more minutes. I ended waiting 20-25 minutes waiting for a pizza that I ordered ahead of time. I intentionally ordered ahead to avoid waiting this long- I expect this kind of wait if I ordered at the counter. Not only that, but the employees didn't seem concerned with the extent of the wait. Which made the environment seem a bit, careless. My advice: order maybe an hour ahead and see if your pizza is going to have a 20-25 min waiting time on top of that or maybe it'll be cold from waiting. Your choice. * suppose to be ready by 8:33pm, got it at 8:54.

Do you have a GF crust option?

    No answer

    Is there indoor seating?

Yes, a few seats are available at their 2 tables.

Do they sell plain cheese pizza or plain cheese slice?

If you look on their website (or ToastTab) you can see all the pizza options, including cheese. Not sure about slices since I've only ordered whole za's.

They have pretty much everything, not just chicken wings, so check them out and explore their menu. Big thanks to aka Candie and her team for the great customer service. Very friendly and easygoing. Was very helpful when asked about their menu or popular items of the day. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Main: 1. 15 pcs Chicken Wings (5) Dynamite Wings (5) Smokin Spice Wings (5) Jalapeño Peppers Wings Cook fresh upon ordering to give that satisfaction taste. What can I say? Expectations met and satisfied. Their freshly cook when ordered to deliver that crispy flavorful wings are out of this world. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is limited, so best to come during non rush hour. I was deciding on lunch with the fam and my aunt recommended SoCal Wings. After browsing their…read moremenu, I was sold and placed a phone order. Our order consisted of four SoCal fries (which are basically buffalo fries from The Buffalo Spot with a drizzle of cheese and ranch), a 10-piece nugget, a small fry, a large order of mozzarella sticks, a Thai tea, and a few sides of sauces. To speak bluntly, the experience turned sour for me as soon as I started placing my phone order. While I was ordering sauces, I was rudely cut off by the man working: "Yeah, yeah, anything else?" I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, even after mentioning it was my first time ordering and kindly asking questions about their sauces. The customer service here just overall gave me the ick. Anyways, onto the food. I was super excited for my SoCal fries. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I opted for the spicy BBQ. On first impression I was surprised with the generous portions. I ordered a small Socal fries that looked more like a medium. As soon as I dug into my meal, I was met with immediate disappointment; the popcorn chicken on my SoCal fries was extremely stale. It tasted as if they served us three-day-old fried chicken that had been left sitting out. My siblings and mom also agreed the chicken was super hard. I ended up just eating some of the fries and threw the rest away. Before tossing it, I tried drenching the fries in their Cajun sauce (which is over $1 per sauce, btw), and even though I really wanted to like it, it had a weird aftertaste. On top of that, I just couldn't get past how hard the chicken was. The Thai tea, fries, and mozzarella sticks were just decent. I'd also like to mention that when I was placing my order over the phone, the man said my total was $67 and some change. When I paid in person, the total somehow jumped to $83.69. I assumed that included the Cajun sauces I ordered over the phone, but it actually didn't. I ended up paying a second transaction for the sauces, which was around $8. Had I possibly been charged for the side of attitude I was also served? To reiterate: the service here sucks. Overall, I won't be back as the quality doesn't match prices. You'd think that a joint that specializes in fried chicken and wings would serve fresh chicken but on the contrary, my chicken was inedible, gross, and clearly old. I love supporting local businesses, but I refuse to support a place that exhibits rude customer service and serves subpar frozen food that I could throw together at home. I don't recommend this spot as there are much better establishments in the area.

Some wings you get for the combo of the sauce and the chicken, these ones I find myself ordering the crispy original because I get to savor the crunchy with the beautiful umami of the chicken and it is not at all bland. We would also like to try other locations to compare and contrast if we're were up to it in the future

Baron quickly stepped in to help me out and I got the buffalo chicken tender fries with added lemon pepper, I was undecided on a beer but he patiently waited for me to make my decision. My meal felt like a pretty shareable portion but very delicious. Overall the vibe was chill.

Very disappointed with the way my wife was treated at Fire Wings in Long Beach…read more I placed an online order for 120 wings and a garlic noodle for pickup around 5:30 PM. Since I was at work, my wife picked up the order for me. When she arrived, she saw two bags on the counter and asked, "Two bags?" The employee helping her, a Black woman, responded with an attitude and said, "No, only one bag." My wife was confused because there was no way 120 wings and a garlic noodle could fit into a single bag. When my wife got home, we discovered that 70 wings and the garlic noodle were missing. We had to drive 15 miles back to the restaurant to pick up the rest of our order, wasting time and gas because of their mistake. What made the experience even worse was that there was no apology, no discount, and no compensation for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but treating customers disrespectfully and making no effort to make things right is unacceptable. This experience left a very bad impression, and I hope management addresses both the customer service and order accuracy at this location.
