Service was great! Good was good. Not my kind of pizza but we were hungry. It was busy but it was so hot inside. No AC.

This is for the meatball sandwich. Their pork meat didn't taste all that great but overall the sandwich was saucy and cheesy to enjoy as a whole. It came with a small bag of chips.

Really good pizza tucked away in LBC. First time here, but very familiar with a location in Whittier with the same name and really liked their pizza so why not. Much smaller location, but food was pretty good and salad bar was a nice touch. Not a ton of options, but very fresh ingredients. The pastrami pizza was really good and loved how crispy the crust was. Wings were very good as well. Personally prefer a thinner crust, but for the style of pizza was very good and would return when in the area.

I think it's a perfect pizza spot next to the college for all the students. Great location, good prices and my daughter enjoyed the wings & pizza. I ended up getting sick the next day from the pizza but maybe it was just my stomach is sensitive. I'm not good with pizza that is too greasy. My daughter was fine.

Ordered this pizza randomly through Door Dash and it's the best pepperoni pizza I've had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and it wasn't super heavy. I definitely like to visit Pizzamania in person.

I hadn't been to this pizza spot in a while, and omg their food is still so fresh and flavourful. I had their pastrami pizza with no onions and it was so good. The crust is crunchy and just made to perfection. We did a lunch special with an order of wings and a salad, which the salad bar had fresh ingredients. Love how friendly they are and how they come and check up on you to make sure all is good. Whenever back in LBC this is a must stop pizzeria. Their parking is still a bit hectic as it's shared with other businesses in the strip mall, be patient or try parking on the street.

We checked photos online for this restaurant and it looked like it was good. So we gave it a try and let me say, it doesn't disappoint at all. We got a pep and olive, meat lovers and a cheese. The toppings are fresh and tasty! The cheese is generous and stringy. And the price is extremely fare for the quality. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

It's a really good pizza place I would go here with my cousin and uncle after getting out of school back in 2011 and it still states delicious same formula

We eating good...in the neighborhood. Also, pizza!

This place has been a long-time neighborhood favorite establishment and has withstood the comings and goings of businesses over the years. It is located in the subtle food scene of the CSULB neighborhood. There's a medium size dining area, but it's also pretty obvious (an unintentional decoration of pizza boxes) that they make a huge bulk of their output through take-out. Parking is tight as it shares a small lot with other businesses but if you go during a low-peak time during the day, it shouldn't be an issue. Order at the counter, and find a table. They have a variety of pizza toppings to choose from. We ordered a large Ham pizza (The Huz' favorite) and just to make sure we had enough food, we also ordered a small Sausage Pizza and a small Pepperoni Pizza. I love chicken wings so I also ordered the lunch special of 7 chicken wings (BBQ because they didn't have Garlic Parmesan available) which comes with a small salad (self-serve and with fresh ingredients) and a small self-serve drink. Everything we had was delicious and what one would expect from a pizza meal. Overall it's a good value and a good place to have a meal with a small (or maybe even large) group. The amount of food we ordered was enough to fill us all up, plus leftovers--we're not mad about taking home Pizza for future eating. The service was adequate--friendly and accommodating.

    Ask the Community - Pizzamania

Is this the same pizzamania and owners as the one in Whittier/la Mirada area?

This was originally owned by the same people, but it was sold to new owners at some point in the late 90s or early 2000s.

Deep Dish pizza is one of my fave things to eat, but I don't find places that serve it or at least do it well. I grew up eating deep dish pizza out here on the west coast, so I'm more used to and like the west coast style, as opposed to the true Chicago style where they cut their thin crust pizzas in little squares. It's a pie, cut it in triangles like a pie! They use too much cornmeal in the crust too, but that's just me. I first had deep dish stuffed pizza at Zachary's in Berkeley, so I kinda compare everything else to that. It was another long day of work and the crew just wanted to stay at the hotel and have me go out and get them some of this deep dish pizza. Ok, I'll keep the crew happy. I go in and order and it's very nice inside. Kinda a little upscale over some pizza parlor joint. I get 2 medium Chicago Classic, I think that was what it was called. Mostly it was sausage, green pepper, onions and mushrooms and lots of cheese. They had an option of half baked, so I got that cause I wanted the pizza hot and crispy and we had a full kitchen back in my room, plus all the plates and stuff. We serve it and I gotta say this is some dang good deep dish pizza. I hate place where they say deep dish, but what it ends up being is deep crust pizza with thin toppings! Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.

Owners, you seriously need to train your staff better because employees like this ruin the reputation of your business. I understand workers may not care the same way owners do, but the way this employee treated customers was completely unacceptable.
