This place is terrible and in horrible shape. Expensive machines, no air conditioning, extremely dirty, and no instructions on how to pay for the machines; I had to ask another patron for help. You have to use a card here, but it is a special card that you have to purchase with cash. Guess what if you don't use all the cash you put on the card? Good, clean laundromat. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. They say to park in the back, but if it's empty - it's fine. Used a big load washer for about 5-6 blankets and it washed perfectly fine. One big dryer was good for all too. This isn't a coin laundry so you'll need to buy a laundry card. $5 minimum for a brand new card with $2 charge for the card (this is refundable if you just give it to the people up front). The big load washer was $3.95 for one load. Dryer I believe is $.10? Super cheap. This place is fast. Washer takes 24 minutes and dryer is about 10 minutes. We did two drying cycles to make sure everything was dry. Overall good place to check out if you're in the Tustin/Irvine area and need to wash things since there's like no laundromats in Irvine area. read more

3 BIG things wrong with this place!! 1st: The machines don't take coins they take their specific laundromat card, now some people might be like okay no problem just load the coins onto the card. NO!!!!! You can't even do that, these guys specifically want cash for the laundry card. That piggy bank full of coins yup that isn't welcomed here! 2nd: There isn't a worker on duty.. You are completely on your own. So if you need help or have any questions forget about it no one is around to save you. It took my boyfriend about 20 minutes to find the stupid machine that gives you the laundry card. 3rd: Now this one isn't that big of a deal but still when nature calls it calls. I was about to pee myself when a worker finally came out and gave me a key to the restroom, I honesty think it would have been more sanitary if I just peed my pants! The restroom was so rusty and dusty it's ridiculous. There was absolutely no seat covers, toilet paper, hand soap or paper towels... The owners really need to step it up! read more

I hate doing laundry... so it's in evitable that at some point I run out of clean clothes and end up with a massive over abundance of dirty clothes to wash. This was a task that I never could complete 100%... This was not the way I wanted to spend my days off. And then I found this little gem- all of my problems have been solved. At least my laundry problems. I dropped off my 4 huge baskets of dirty clothes and 5 hours later I got everything back clean and folded neatly or hanging on hangers. Amazing. As good as these places get! Parking in the front and the back of this location. It's right next to the Burger King off Red Hill and Walnut. Not too many people here on a Sunday afternoon, I had no problem grabbing a machine. The small ones are 1.25, they also have the bigger models for 2.50 and 2.95. At the front of the store there is a machine that will dispense you a card. It's a 2.00 deposit for the card and the machine only accepts fives. Just hit the green button to buy your card, no quarters needed. The people at the counter are very friendly and will break your bills into fives. Machines take 27 minutes for the small size, there are a few benches in the front of the store where you can wait. They have vending machines, an ATM, and free wifi. There's a Burger King outside too. They place offers their fluff and fold laundry service where they charge you 1.25/LB if you don't want or have time to do it yourself. They have same day pickup and are open from 6am-11pm every day. They dryers are 25 cents for 10 minutes, I ran it twice to make sure it did the trick. Overall good place, clean, machines work, what else can you ask for. Gave 4 stars because I've been to a few other places but this one was the best. However I believe there is always room for improvement. read more

The machine dispensed us the wrong item... twice. The washing machines (normal) are $1.50. The heavy duty washing machines are $2.50. HOWEVER my biggest issues is the fact that the DRYERS SUCK! This is a horrible laundromat. There were two attendants a woman and a man, the woman was nice and as it being my first time there she helped me and explained how the card works. You leave a $5 deposit for the card and then they give you a temporary one and you'll add whatever amount you need to wash. You get the $5 back once you turn the card in and any money left on the card. I went in the morning and it wasn't that busy however it was a little messy. There was trash on the floor and in the almost three hours I was there didn't see anyone pick it up. The washers worked and they're reasonably priced but don't get me started on the dryers. I didn't have much clothes for me to wash but I did have blankets, I had a queen Korean blanket and two smaller ones as well as my daughters favorite blanket. I shouldn't of taken as much time as I did trying to get everything dry. I didn't see the attendants while drying so I just moved my stuff into different dryers while I was there so they could dry. I was wrong none of the dryers I was using was working no matter the setting. They burned my blankets but THEY WERE STILL WET. My clothes were still wet, I don't overstuff the dryers. My boyfriend and I decided instead of keep wasting money on this place to just grab our stuff and dry it at our apartments laundromat and let the big stuff air dry at home. The reason we went to this laundromat was because we wanted to wash the bedding and at our apartments they don't have a wash big enough for our blankets. Once we were leaving and I saw the male attendant I let him know the dryers and I pointed to the section which consisted of at least 14 dryers that they didn't work. He didn't even apologize or offer a refund it seemed like he knew they had issues already. My boyfriend said it wasn't worth it so we left and got our normal deposit and $1.50 left on the card back. Do not use the drop off unless you itemize everything and check it right there at pickup. Many of my items were missing including a brand new Lane Bryant robe. Tried to talk to the ladies who did my laundry but of course they said nothing was missing. So, I'd take my business elsewhere. read more

Being a single mom sometimes the only time you can do things are in the middle of the night after the little ones go to sleep. I came to the laundromat this evening pulled up at 9:40 and granted it said last wash at 9:30. I considered going in to ask them if they would mind me washing my three loads of laundry simultaneously and dry them which would take about an hour (they're closing time is 11 o'clock). But their doors were already locked. I've washed here one other time and dont really appreciate the fact that it cost three dollars to get a laundry card. That is atrocious! you shouldn't have to pay for a card to put money on that you have to use on the machines there. Anyway the last time I washed there it was a little bit late but not as late as tonight however they were cleaning up at 915 PM and locked the doors because they didn't want other people coming in to do laundry because they would have to clean up after them and wouldn't be able to leave exactly at 11 when the laundromat was due to close. I moved into a new place without a washer I dryer. No biggie right? Well come to find out that, in my area, there are no laundromats. Via YELP I found this dump and decided I wash my clothes here because it had 4 stars. My ASS! This place is the pits! The washers have clogged softener canisters, so don't expect your clothes to smell good and feel soft. The majority of the dryers smell like wet dog hair, but there is ample parking behind the facility with no lighting for that extra risk. The bathroom has no toilet paper and is disgusting. The worker there (probably not legal) washes clothes for others by the pound. She goes to the bathroom and doesn't wash her hands. SICK! So if you're in need of a laundromat I'd think twice before going to this one. read more

Buy the Laundry Card for $5, do your laundry, watch some telenovelas on the TV there or play on your phone, return the card to the older gentleman who runs the place for a refund on the $2 card deposit. I have come here half dozen times and I would give them 3 stars for cleanliness. The floors are clean but the bathroom is always nasty. The machines are clean. If you are going to use the $2.50- $3.95 wash, be sure to check holding tanks before you load your clothes. Some have old detergent in them. No ATM so bring cash! A small annoyance is that the television is ALWAYS on a Hispanic channel. From what I have observed 90% of the time there is English speaking customers because of it's proximity to Irvine & Tustin but the staff wants to watch what they want to watch regardless of the customers. I wish this place was nicer and it would only take a few tweaks to turn it around but it seems the staff does just enough to get their paycheck and cleaning the bathroom us obviously below their pay scale. read more

Wow - someone please replace the laundry mat attendant!! I sometimes come here to wash big articles of clothing when it doesn't fit in our washing machine. You have to buy this card for $2 and then buy credit on it which is fine. The big washing machines charge $6.25 for a 20 minute wash which is fine. But the lady who is there full time as an attendant is downright RUDE! My first experience with her is saying hi and she just looks at you like she is pissed at the world! From then on, it goes downhill because if you leave even the dryer sheet in the machine, she gives you the 3rd degree. I read The reviews on yelp and decided to bring my laundry here. I usually drive from Irvine to Huntington Beach to do my laundry. However, I didn't have a lot of time and I had a lot of laundry. I had come down with the flu and had an insurmountable amount of laundry to do. I am a single mom of three children and could not get away with waiting. So when I went in with five huge bags of laundry I thought I would ask how much it would be to do two of my five bags of laundry for me. I went in on a Saturday around 4 PM. I decided to let them do those two bags of laundry which came to 30 pounds total. She asked me if I wanted it back the next day, I stated I would be out of town and could pick it up Monday morning. I filled out the ticket and circled Monday. I arrived Monday at 2 PM because I could not get there in the morning. My clothes bags were shoved under the table and were not done. Other tickets that had come in after me were finished. And the woman told me that they were very busy over the weekend. She told me she would start it then and have it ready by tonight at 6 PM. This was not acceptable as I work at night. I pay a babysitter to watch my children at night and can't take extra time to come and pick up my laundry. I asked her if she would give a discount because of the mistake. I was told 'no' that she couldn't do that. She called the woman that normally does the laundry and she also denied me a discount. So I took my bags of laundry and left. I will not be going back and I do not recommend this place. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews - keep in mind this is a laundromat. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of parking, Angelica was extremely helpful explaining how to get the laundry pay card, to load additional cash onto it, and how to add time to the dryer. I got some take-out shrimp ceviche to have lunch while waiting for my wash/dry instead of playing with my iphone or watching TV. There are other laundromats closer to me, but Sparklean had better Yelp reviews. Came Sat. morning at 9 am & there were plenty of washers available - large industrial for $4.50, medium sized for $2.50 & standard washers (like they had in college) for $1.50. I had read a review that said this was a coin-operated place, so I brought a roll of quarters, but none of the machines take coins. There's a card machine which is $3.00 for the card & you can add $ on it. I suggest bringing $1s & $5's, b/c you won't get change. There were 2 attendants, who were very helpful & showed me how the card dispenser machine worked. I just washed, since my home dryer is working. I plan on going the next few weeks until my washer arrives. Same shopping center as 99 Cents Only & Burger King. For the other reviewers who said the attendants were doing their own laundry, it's possible they were doing customer's laundry as it's also a drop off service.
