Honestly the washers and dryers are whatevers, I wouldn't say that they are the best nor the worst, they do their jobs. But this is the second or third time I get kicked out of this place for "trying to wash"? Like I came around 8-9pm before closing (11pm) and cleaning lady kicked me out saying it was not possible for me to wash my stuff? Doesn't make sense. Yet again she had other people inside and others from outside come.. I had to drive to 4th street to just simply wash? Ridiculous if you ask me. Plenty of washers & dryers. Place felt safe @ 11:30a, Monday morning. But be careful, pick a "good" washer/dryer. Washer cost: $4.50 for 27mins, OK. My washer did not recognize (3) quarters, so I actually spend $5.25 for single wash; should have gotten attendant involved. Dryer cost: $0.25 for 8mins. NICE! Recommend doing in 8min increments, check dryness and if another session is needed. Helpful to know some(little) spanish. read more

I have been here twice. It's clean, the machines work AND they have WiFi! What's not to love?!

Great working machines at good prices. The inside is very clean and all the machines seem newer. Glad they have a big 40 pound machine that can take huge loads. Needed to wash my comforter and sheets so I needed a bigger machine. If you need newer and great working washers and dryers you cannot go wrong here. This area is hella sketch though. As soon as I walked in there was a homeless lady crack head that dropped her drawers and took a piss right between two cars at the entrance lol. Like seriously. Definitely don't see that in my neighborhood in Newport Beach! Haha. Definitely wouldn't come here alone at night if I was a female. Located on the south west corner of Edinger and Flower next to the 7-11, Soapy Hai is a small laundromat in a a small plaza. There's parking but it can get crowded and people tend to park along the west side of the lot which are not designated spots. It's pretty peaceful here, mostly locals in the neighborhood washing their clothes. One time I was loading my clothes into the dryer and I turned to grab more clothes and a guy was standing right next to me with a box of churros in one hand and a pair of tongs holding a piece of churro in the other. He was offering me a sample to try. I've left my clothes in the washer or dryer and come back an hour later and found my clothes were still there. The latest I've been there was 10:30 after folding clothes and found it was safe. Nothing fancy, gets the job done. read more

Came here in a pinch when I needed to wash my comforter and sheets, and didn't want to overhaul my own washer and dryer at home. Instead of spending half a day trying to wash at home, I spent less than a couple hours doing my laundry simultaneously with the large machines at this location! A word of caution, the "last call" for laundry is taken seriously and they will lock their front door during this time to avoid allowing anyone new to enter. I had arrived EXACTLY at 9:30PM upon finding this out, and was devastated. However, the attendant was extremely forgiving to me and let me enter (I even offered to buy him some stuff from 7-11 next door and he refused politely), and I diligently loaded up my laundry to efficiently finish before their actual closing time. The parking is oddly spacious outside and the overall experience was quite pleasant. The laundromat smelled very clean and all the machines seemed to be in good working order. I came back here again during the day instead of the evening and still had a great experience. read more

My washer has bot been working for over a month now due to a backordered part. I came all the way here from Tustin after seeing that majority of the reviews listed cleanliness as one of its best qualities. It truly is a clean laundry mat (although I don't have many to compare it to other than back in the day apartment laundry mats).....anyways, I was here from 10-1pm and this seemed to be a pretty busy time frame as a lot of people came and went within these hours. Change machines worked and there was an employee here for most of my stay who was wiping down all the washers and dryers and sweeping the floors. The insides of the machines were very well maintained and clean too. Made my experience that much better and was relieved to finally get all my piled up laundry done read more

I have been using this laundromat since my washing machine broke down last month. Nice people, reasonable prices. I only gave it 4 stars because a lot of the machines look rather old. For a while I had looked for a place to wash my laundry. I found this place which wasn't too far from my apartment. It was very easy to find but the parking is very limited. It wasn't a downside for me because many other laundromats have small parking lots. They are open from 5AM to 11PM which beats out any other places. The place is very clean and organized. The prices are low and the machines do a very great job at cleaning. There are vending machines with soap and drying sheets if needed. Have not had any issues or bad experiences at this location. read more

This place is nice, but be very careful about the machine you choose to use. I once spend $3 on a dysfunctional washer that has a broken handle. I filed the complaint card, left my address, washer number, date and time of the incident. I think it has been at least month now and I'm still waiting for the check to be mailed to me read more

This is my favorite laundromat. They have a huge selection of sizes of washers and dryers. Always super clean and everything for the most part works. Unprofessional all around. Cleaning lady kicked me out almost 2 hours before closing, after I poured my detergent already. She didn't heckle the other people that were there or the people that came in after me. Plus, after leaving an honest review on Google the owner responded to me accusing me of being a fake person/reviewer and after looking through other Google reviews, they do the same thing to other negative reviewers. How about you take negative reviews as constructive criticism instead of trying to discredit people who had a negative experience in your business? I wish I could give 0 stars. EDIT: Since posting this initial review, the owner has bombarded me with accusatory and inappropriate messages trying to tell me their business is perfect and that I am in the wrong for truly having a negative experience at their business. Their big washers are huge! I fit all my towels and all of my bedding in one of the big washers and it only cost $5.25! The place right by my house charges that much for a washer half the size. Safe to say I'll be driving a bit further to come here instead from now on read more

The post on the door says the last wash is at 9:30PM. I arrived at 9:45 after my washer broke. The lady who works there said it was already past last wash, sorry. But I bargained "Can I wash without drying (I usually hang-dry about half of my clothes anyway)?" She allowed me, and seeing that I only had 1 load, added I could also dry there but only had 40 minutes until closing. Nice lady. Clean place. They have wifi. read more

Not a bad place. Good selection of machines depending on the needs of how much laundry you need to do. The machines seemed fairly well maintained and clean. Prices to wash aren't outrageous, seemed reasonable. I'd come back. Maybe try mid week the next time to avoid the Sunday rush. read more

In town for a softball tournament so lots of uniforms to wash! This place was awesome! Very clean, nice, plenty of different size machines to use depending on how much laundry you have to wash. The lady working there was cleaning the machines when we walked in. She also offered bottle water to the folks in there, was very helpful and extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place. read more
