It turns out the card is as empty as the customer service promises. * THE WALL OF LITERATURE: Unless you plan on spending your afternoon studying the "Wall of Text," which is basically a manifesto on how to navigate their hostile interface, you'll never guess that you have to take the card out of one slot and shove it into another just to find the money you already paid. * THE SILENT TREATMENT: I spent 20 minutes pressing the "Help" button, which is a lovely decorative touch, really, and calling a support line that I'm convinced leads directly to a disconnected payphone in 1994. I ended up paying an extra $25 just to escape with clean clothes, essentially gifting my first $40 to the universe, or the next lucky stranger. I even found a discarded card on the floor, a tragic little souvenir left by the last person who realized they'd been fleeced. It's such a quirky business model, you can't even get your $1 deposit back for the plastic! THE TAKEAWAY: It is truly impressive how a place can look so clean while its system feels so... predatory. If you're looking for a free wash, honestly, just stand near the kiosk and wait for the machine to rob the next unsuspecting visitor. I'm sure they'll leave their card behind in a fit of tears, too! A TINY SUGGESTION FOR MANAGEMENT: Perhaps you could update the screen to say, "Please collect your useless, unloaded card and put it in the next slot so we can finally give you what you paid for." Our new machine is not being delivered for another week so we needed to find a laundromat. A friend mentioned there was a newer laundromat off of college. I found Lucy's and decided to do my loads there. The building and the machines were nice and clean. There are places to plug-in and do work as well as free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating. I don't know how the prices compare to other places, but the drying is $1.99 for about 25 minutes. I will use this location again for bulky items that need to be laundered. read more

I was honestly a little nervous about going to a laundromat since I hadn't been to one since college. I wasn't sure how things worked anymore, and I was expecting the worst. I was very wrong! From the moment I walked in, Charlie was incredibly kind and helpful. He took the time to explain everything step by step, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. He truly made the experience stress-free and even enjoyable. The place itself was also very well kept. I noticed Charlie constantly cleaning and staying on top of anything that needed attention. I had such a great experience here that I must leave a review. Mom and I walked in, looking a little lost because we hadn't been to a laundromat for ages. An employee offered to help us. And what a help he was! Literally walking us through each step of the process: Buying a card and koading it. How to start the washing machine. He alerted us when he noticed our washing was done and walked with us to the dryer to make sure we got it going ok. The prices are reasonable and the building is very well aired out so you're not breathing steamy or stale air. Couches and coffee tables are available while waiting and I even saw a shelf of books to read as well. Overall, 10/10 would go again! read more

My Go to Laundry Mat. What may seem to be a High End fancy Laundry mat. It seems that way but honestly it is the most reasonably priced. I honestly pay the same amount or even more at other locations especially when my clothes has not dry yet. I would have to wait even longer if it has not dried. At least here they tell you their that both washing and dry can be at least 24 minutes. To be honest I only need 24 minutes of dry for my regular items. I am not at the laundry mat for more than 2 hours. It is a spacious facility, with a seating area, plenty of folding and not cramped. This a card system and not a coin. Less weight to your wallet. They also offer Laundry service, I have yet to try it. From what I see they do a great job of it. They clean the facility daily and possibly hourly. So, Yes this place is a 5 star Laundry facility. read more

Great space with lots of washers and dryers. We had to wait a bit for the 6 and 8 load machines to open up, but it was nothing unreasonable. There's plenty of places to sit and wait inside. I really liked that the entire time we were there, there was staff on site making sure everything was clean. You can pay for the machines by purchasing a card and adding credit using either a credit/debit card or cash. In the future, I think it would be great to add some vending machines that carry laundry detergent, softener, dryer sheets, snacks, drinks, etc. Maybe I missed it, but didn't see one inside. read more

I drove 28 miles to this Laundromat. Reason being, I read reviews and saw photos of this place and knew my clothes would come out fresh! Being my first time there, one of the workers Charlie was a big help and guided me with loading money on their laundromat card and Charlie also helped me with how to use the machines. It's nice and spacious! Very clean and both wash and dryers only take 24 Minutes! Unless you add heavy load, extra rinse and I believe the temperature as well. The price does go up if you add extra settings. Example. I use either two 4-load washers or two 3-load washers. I put the extra rinse, heavy soil and I put it on the hot temperature. If I'm not mistaken it comes out to $9 and some change( could be $10 and some change) for BOTH 3-load washers. The 4-load washers with the same settings as the 3-load, It's probably around $12 and some change possibly $13 and change FOR BOTH!!! I'm washing about 1-3 weeks worth of clothes. And I'll either dry them in 1 dryer or maybe two depending on how much laundry I had. read more

Just arrived to do laundry, hours are every day 4am - 11pm, it is currently 7:55am and all the doors are locked and the facility is closed. No signs, nothing. Just closed. Very frustrating to load up all your laundry on a Sunday morning all to find the business closed for no apparent reason. read more

Trendy spacious open concept Laundry mat. This place is not your regular place to take laundry. It's got an inviting atmosphere with couches to sit while you wait. Many different sizes of washers and many dryers available. Easy to use, just pre load a card with money on it and put that card in the machines to use. They have an area to fold laundry, offers dry cleaning, and has good music choices to listen while you wait. The only downfall is it gets busy, which is great for them but as a customer it takes time to get a machine. I went mid afternoon on a Monday thinking nobody would be there and it was packed! False advertising. Should say that they close at 10pm. When you say 11pm. That insinuates that you are able to use your machines until 11 which is not true. This place used to be great to get laundry done late. Please change your hours to reflect the operation of your machines. Literally my new favorite Laundrymat ! Super clean. Spacious. Lots of seating. Lots of pristine counter space for folding. Wide aisles in between the machines so you load and unload everything with ease. Large roll up garage type door along the side of the building allows for a nice air flow and none of the stuffy typical Laundrymat vibes that have me sweating as soon as I step foot inside. Also love the free 1 min sanitize cycle that the washing machines feature so you can rinse out the machine before you use it. I may be the only one who does this but when I open the door of a washer I always do a sniff test before I load my clothes. Nothing worse than getting hit in the face with that warm damp moldy stench and then seeing all the black mold all along the inner gasket seal or caked on in the detergent tray/dispenser. There is NONE of that here. No smells. No mold. Just clean straightforward machines with more cycle options than most. So refreshing. I appreciate the fact that the machines are not programmed for the shortest possible cycle length. I also appreciate that the hot water cycle actually produces hot water. Those places think that customers can't tell but we can. I wish there were more of these and I wish there was one closer to my place. But even the couple extra miles for me is well worth it. read more

While visiting my girlfriend in Irvine, her apartment laundromat was out of service. We decided to come to this little hidden gem. I'm from LA so laundromats are usually not this nice, so it was really cool to visit a very aesthetic and modern laundromat. Some reviews mentioned homeless and bad customers, but honestly, during our visit everyone here looked super chill and minded their own business. No homeless either. I was impressed by the cleanliness and the very nice design of this place. There's a chick fil a 3 min away and we even had time to sneak in a quick breakfast while the clothes were drying. They require you to get a card and add funds to do your laundry. All of the machines require a card to use. I did one medium load of laundry and dried it for 24 minutes (the total time in a dryer), which came out to approximately $10, including the $1 to get a new card and add funds. Other than the price, the laundromat is very clean. They also offer dry cleaning services and fluff and fold. read more

The second star is just for being clean and that I've been able to have a space to fold my clothes. The staff was pretty responsive when you need help. But I will not return. 2 out of 2 times my clothes came out discolored/botched. I don't use bleach. During my first visit when this happened, they suggested that I use the "disinfect" setting (free) prior to starting my wash. So I did use that setting this second visit and sadly the same happened to my clothes. I don't know if they use bleach to wash their machines (they said no when I brought this to their attention on my 2nd visit). But could I have been this unlucky to follow someone who used a lot of bleach? I've been using community laundry and laundromats for 7 years now and never had this happened to me. Also drying times/cost is a very costly. $1.99 for 24 min. Unless you use high heat, your clothes will not dry with only 1 cycle of medium or low setting. They are ALMOST dry... forcing you to do another cycle. read more

I have always loved coming here and still do from time to time. The machines are a bit pricey especially the dryers. Lately I've noticed that some of my clothes come out ripped. Not too many but 1 piece of clothing is already too much. Im not sure if the machines move too fast and some garments get trapped, leaving them ripped. Simply an observation which I will keep track of. I think what keeps me coming back is the cleanliness and calmness of this location. The vibes are so relaxing here that it makes me want to wash. The machines can go up to 8 loads which is great. The dryers are $2 for 24 min. Most places charge 25 cents for 8 minutes which bugs me. The markup on drying is absolutely crazy. I hand dry most of my clothes now for this reason. When I'm feeling spendy then I come here but when I'm tight on cash then I'll go elsewhere. The parking lot can fill up crazy fast so make sure to go early! read more

Love this place! So used to coin op. I hate carrying change and I drop it all over - so a reloadable card I keep in my wallet is super convenient. The place is nice and spacious and the machines are super efficient too! I've never needed help from an attendant but there is ALWAYS an attendant on the floor. Plus, the bathroom is nice! I took 2 stars away because of the parking and/or their neighbor. There's nothing wrong with the parking itself, but I've been b*tched at by people who train at the CrossFit place next door. Tapping on my window, yelling, and staring. I don't even park in their reserved spots. Definitely a turn off for me. And keeps me from wanting to go back. Bummer. read more
