Literally my new favorite Laundrymat ! Super clean. Spacious. Lots of seating. Lots of pristine counter space for folding. Wide aisles in between the machines so you load and unload everything with ease. Large roll up garage type door along the side of the building allows for a nice air flow and none of the stuffy typical Laundrymat vibes that have me sweating as soon as I step foot inside. Also love the free 1 min sanitize cycle that the washing machines feature so you can rinse out the machine before you use it. I may be the only one who does this but when I open the door of a washer I always do a sniff test before I load my clothes. Nothing worse than getting hit in the face with that warm damp moldy stench and then seeing all the black mold all along the inner gasket seal or caked on in the detergent tray/dispenser. There is NONE of that here. No smells. No mold. Just clean straightforward machines with more cycle options than most. So refreshing. I appreciate the fact that the machines are not programmed for the shortest possible cycle length. I also appreciate that the hot water cycle actually produces hot water. Those places think that customers can't tell but we can. I wish there were more of these and I wish there was one closer to my place. But even the couple extra miles for me is well worth it. read more

Super clean, And new technology, You have to pay with a card but to load it they accept card or cash and have a $1 charge for a new card which I feel is super cool and convenient, Especially since I've grown up with quarter machines all my life and I always drop them everywhere. They have a lot of washers and HUGE dryers, The waiting area is so cute and modern and clean. The second star is just for being clean and that I've been able to have a space to fold my clothes. The staff was pretty responsive when you need help. But I will not return. 2 out of 2 times my clothes came out discolored/botched. I don't use bleach. During my first visit when this happened, they suggested that I use the "disinfect" setting (free) prior to starting my wash. So I did use that setting this second visit and sadly the same happened to my clothes. I don't know if they use bleach to wash their machines (they said no when I brought this to their attention on my 2nd visit). But could I have been this unlucky to follow someone who used a lot of bleach? I've been using community laundry and laundromats for 7 years now and never had this happened to me. Also drying times/cost is a very costly. $1.99 for 24 min. Unless you use high heat, your clothes will not dry with only 1 cycle of medium or low setting. They are ALMOST dry... forcing you to do another cycle. read more

While visiting my girlfriend in Irvine, her apartment laundromat was out of service. We decided to come to this little hidden gem. I'm from LA so laundromats are usually not this nice, so it was really cool to visit a very aesthetic and modern laundromat. Some reviews mentioned homeless and bad customers, but honestly, during our visit everyone here looked super chill and minded their own business. No homeless either. I was impressed by the cleanliness and the very nice design of this place. There's a chick fil a 3 min away and we even had time to sneak in a quick breakfast while the clothes were drying. I have always loved coming here and still do from time to time. The machines are a bit pricey especially the dryers. Lately I've noticed that some of my clothes come out ripped. Not too many but 1 piece of clothing is already too much. Im not sure if the machines move too fast and some garments get trapped, leaving them ripped. Simply an observation which I will keep track of. I think what keeps me coming back is the cleanliness and calmness of this location. The vibes are so relaxing here that it makes me want to wash. The machines can go up to 8 loads which is great. The dryers are $2 for 24 min. Most places charge 25 cents for 8 minutes which bugs me. The markup on drying is absolutely crazy. I hand dry most of my clothes now for this reason. When I'm feeling spendy then I come here but when I'm tight on cash then I'll go elsewhere. The parking lot can fill up crazy fast so make sure to go early! read more

Love this place! So used to coin op. I hate carrying change and I drop it all over - so a reloadable card I keep in my wallet is super convenient. The place is nice and spacious and the machines are super efficient too! I've never needed help from an attendant but there is ALWAYS an attendant on the floor. Plus, the bathroom is nice! I took 2 stars away because of the parking and/or their neighbor. There's nothing wrong with the parking itself, but I've been b*tched at by people who train at the CrossFit place next door. Tapping on my window, yelling, and staring. I don't even park in their reserved spots. Definitely a turn off for me. And keeps me from wanting to go back. Bummer. read more

When I was searching for a laundro-mat, I had no idea I was going to find one like this! This is the most mindful laundro-mat I've ever been to, especially during covid-times. I was so impressed lol. It is a coinless laundro-mat. The card machine is in the back. You select how much you want to add onto the card, and then use that card for the machines. Note that the card machine will only accept $5 minimum, so that was a downer because I ended up needing to add an additional $5 when I was only wanting to add $1.5. I think maybe that was because I used cc to pay. I think if you use cash, there shouldn't be a minimum? There are 2, 3, 6, and 8-load machines. The 2-load machines are in the front. I didn't know, and I used a 3-load machine in the back.. could have saved a couple bucks. The pricing is based on load and temperature. You use the dials on the machine to select the temperature you want, and the pricing changes along with it. For the 3-load washer I used, it started at around $3 for cold water and was around $4.5 for hot water. The dryer is $1.29 for a 24-minute cycle. I thought I would have needed more time, but it dried all of my throws perfectly! My favorite part is that they have a free pre-wash sanitation cycle. It is a 1 minute rinse cycle so you get the peace of mind that the machine is clean before you put your dirty laundry in haha. I also love that they have a sink, bathroom, and hand sanitizer bottles. VERY covid-friendly! I'm not very familiar with pricing for laundro-mats, but it was prettty pricey IMO, but it might have just been because of how I ended up going about things. It was a bit of a learning curve tbh hahaha, but I know what to do differently next time. All in all, I find it well worth it and will definitely be returning :) read more

Our home Washer broke down and the pile of cloths were getting larger. Was able to do an 8loader washer and get all clothes cleaned in one shot. Used it for first time and got help from staff on how to get started. Place was comfortable with seats, and I was able to catch up on my book reading while the load was going. Not too crowded. I came to do laundry for my oversized items like duvet covers, floor mats and rugs. I haven't been to a laundromat for a very long time. It took me a few minutes to figure out how machines work. The place was clean. The lady working there kept wiping, organizing and made sure the place was tidy. She was also very helpful with my questions. Rip offs! The prices on the machines are set up so you have to put more money on their laundry cards ($3.09, $1.99, $3.59!). They require minimum $5 to load a card, this is deceptive and abusive. They also do not have cash for change in there register, which is apparently just a prop to look like they allow cash. The owner says there is no minimum when using paper money, that is false because you can't use change to load a card, so customers will always have to leave a balance on their laundry cards, increasing the businesses profits. My daughter and I were traveling from Chicago and found the need to wash our clothes while we were here for the week. I found this place and it looked nice, clean and professional. Unfortunately, there were no staff on-site to sell us laundry detergent or dryer sheets/fabric softener so, we had to get some from the closeby Target. This review would have been 5 stars if there was at least a vending machine for that stuff for those of us who are not local. Otherwise, I would come back again to wash my clothes here. Okay, I've been coming here more often because our washer broke. I recommend coming here because of how clean it is and the amount of washers and dryers. Everytime, I come here I contemplate not coming back. Today, a customer was retching in the bathroom for 30 min and slamming and kicking machines. When another concerned customer asked her if she's okay then she yelled we were all harassing her. Mind you I saw an employee 20 min before making the rounds to sanitize the washers. He could call the cops from a distance and not confront her. But he disappeared!! Last time, some little kids were kicking all the machines and messing with the customers laundry. The employees ignored them even though they were climbing everywhere. What would have happened if they had fell from the couches that they were jumping off of? I'm just concerned that the equipment will eventually be damaged if there isn't at least a little care at this place. Let me add that if it's not a positive review don't bother leaving one. Since they just respond with little empathy or care about your experience. If your employees were actually around maybe they could tell people not to hit the washers and scare customers. As are the machines, which, after all, are what comes in contact with our garments, blankets, pillows, etc. Charlie also went out of his way to give me some personalized service, showing his focus on the customers. I've yet to be there at their 4AQM9!!!) opening time, but it's good to know they may accommodate us if we need to do some "emergency" cleaning of sleeping bags, camp bedding, etc. before heading out to the wilds early in the morning. So I continue to come here because it is a big laundromat. Now I've had some issues and I've asked the workers they all have different answers or don't know. Issues some of the washing machines don't rinse well clothes comes out dripping so it takes way longer to dry. I wash on the cold cycle and it dispenses hot water my color clothes fade because of this issue. Mostly the employees are very nice but some seem annoyed when asked about the issues I'm not trying to annoy anyone. We spend money here for a service that's not being provided 100 percent. I found this place on Google maps and I'm glad I did. This is the nicest laundry mat you'll find in orange and riverside county. I didn't include L.A. county only because I haven't been to facilities there. Lucy's Laundry is modern and sleek. I felt comfortable and re look axed there. You must obtain a prepaid laundry card from one of their machines located in the back of the facility, which by the way is free with your first deposit. The prices are only slightly higher than other facilitys but the reward is well Worth the cost. If you're in or near Costa Mesa, you need to really check out Lucy's Laundry. This is one of the nicest laundromat I have ever been to!!! This place pretty huge, perfect for social distancing. All the washer/dryer are new and all the washers have a city name on it!! That's just something I have never seen before. When you walk in this place, it makes you feel like you really WANT to do laundry instead of you HAVE to because it's nice and clean, they also have couches you can chill while you are waiting for your clothes. I wish they serve food and drink, that would be awesome!! This place does requires you to get their laundry card at the machine at the back for you to do laundry, AND use their restroom!!! They have plenty of machines for your needs, from 2 loads, 3 loads, 4 loads to 8 loads. So you will never have to worry about not having a washer to wash. Brand spanking new laundromat in Costa Mesa. This place is ample with lots of brand new machines. I must admit that the prices are much higher than other laundromats, but it's worth it. Less crowds, machines that actually work, and clean. I've been only been here one time, but I was impressed and no doubt I will be back. Also there is one of my favorite breweries right next door.
