This is a small laundromat that is right next to another laundromat. It's literally right on the other side of the wall. They're both small, but I prefer this one, because it has a massage chair, along with two big screen TV's. There's big machines too that I come use when my big comforter needs a washing. It's a nice quiet location here in the early morning since all the other businesses are still closed. There will be 4 or 5 others here on a weekday morning, so most machines will be free. read more

Me and another customer came here exactly at 10:30pm and the very rude lady that works there turned us away. She said last load was at 10:30pm even though I got there on time. Only removing a star because it's hard to find a time to come that isn't busy, and they're a little pricier than other local laundromats. Otherwise, soapy Lee coin laundry is very clean, they have lots of machines, their machines WORK (lol), and everyone is pretty friendly. Soapy Lee coin laundry is a community laundromat with plenty of space, although parking can be difficult since it's shared with the shopping center. It has great hours, and machines ranging from typical top load washers to 60 pound high-efficiency washers. There are also several dryers so there are always some available. Obviously weekdays are the best time to come in as it is not too busy. read more

Thoroughly impressed with how clean this place is and the upkeep is amazing with the hand soap and paper towels. They have plenty of washers and dryers, although I imagine it would be hectic on weekends. We normally go to laundromats to wash our bedding but we've been to various locations around OC and LA county and this by far was one of the best laundromats we've been to. They have two 80 lb washers and over five of the 60 lb washers. We didn't walk around the entire laundromat but I'm sure there were more on the other side. We also enjoyed the atmosphere with the cute, plants that were potted within used detergent bottles. So creative! read more

This laundry mat is fine. It's clean. They take good care of the machines but like any laundromat people abuse the place so machines are often out of order. They do not have staff here 24 hours a day but when they do, they are working, cleaning, and helpful. Most everyone here speaks Spanish. So maybe that's why people complained? I had one of the washers crap out during the rinse cycle and get stuck. Lucky I I was here at a time when staff were on site and they were able to save my laundry and switch it over to another machine. They reimbursed me the cost of the wash so I didn't pay double. They say they have wifi. TVs are usually on Spanish broadcast They have a massage chair, vending machines for snax, drinks, and laundry supplies. Occasional a street vendor comes by with tacos, champurrado, or tamales. The is a coin-op place so bring quarters or cash. So far I've come about 3 times. The first time was fine. The second time, there was a gentleman not wearing a mask. No one told him anything and he sat inside too. No mask on. I didn't see any of the people that maintain it and I doubt they would have said anything to him because of his size. It was also at night so that maybe have been why there was no one there. The third time (in the morning) another gentleman wasn't wearing a mask either. This time a person that maintained it was there but said nothing to him. He at least would step outside. It's disappointing that people don't enforce mask wearing and that there's still people that refuse to realize that we are in a pandemic and that millions have died. read more

When the machines don't work, don't drain the water, your clothes are SOAKING wet and you literally have to dry them four times for 30 min each. You waste your time AND money. An actual COIN laundromat that doesn't require a proprietary card to access the machines! The plaza is sort of run down but the machines are very reliable. I've come here about once a week for the past two months and haven't had any issues with the change machine or the actual washers and dryers. I've only used the top load dryers and they cost $1.50 for about 32 minutes of washing. The dryers cost 25 cents per 10 minutes and I would say it only takes about 30 minutes to completely dry a load of laundry (even with towels as long as the dryer is on high heat it's good to go). Overall, takes about $2.25 and only an hour and a half of my time to completely finish my laundry. There are two or three small benches as well as desks against the wall if you want to sit and wait. The only issue I've had is waiting for people who hog the dryers by separating their laundry to multiple dryers, but the place itself is great. read more

I've been to a few coin laundry's and this is the cheapest. $1.50 for 32 minutes of washing and $0.25 per 10 minutes of drying. All I need is 20 minutes for my towels to be dried. Place is mediocre. On a Friday evening this place is packed with families and sometimes kids running around. CONS: 1. I've had a incident where a 30lb washing machine has gone from 9 minutes to 1 minute. I left a note along with a slip in the mailbox and never got my money back. I saw the owner one day so I confronted him and his response was "sometimes people mess with the machines." He did give me $2.75 after I mentioned to him the problem I had on two occasions. 2. The lady with curly hair cleans the place, but is looking at everyone like a hawk or is on the phone while using her Bluetooth. PROS: 1. They have 30lbs, 60lbs, & 90lbs washing machines. 2. We got here at 8am, and it was hot as hell in there already since there is apparently no ventilation. Super crowded with little seating. Takes coins only, so you have to get cash from across the street at the liquor store. You have to pay $0.25 to use the bathroom, and there was no soap (not like they ran out, but like they clearly don't stock it, since the cartridge was empty) and no paper towels (again, there was no empty roll, so clearly was never stocked to begin with). And by 9am the toilet paper was out too. I had to go steal a bunch of paper towels and a bar of soap, so the kids People had with them, could go to the bathroom with dignity. The timer was set to 20 minutes, but after a few minutes, it turned into 9 minutes and soon after, the machine said it was finished. My first load wasn't even finished. I was so disappointed. Very clean, new dryers, friendly (although linguistically challenged) attendant, one tv set to a kids education channel, one set to Novelas, and no bad smell! Need a token for the restroom, or .25 cents, but I'm sure there is a very good reason, I actually like that. It's a laundromat, what can you really say? There was a homeless man sitting on the bench inside but he was really friendly and cleared out pretty quick. The place seems like it might always be super busy as I was there mid day and I felt like many people should have probably been at work but it was packed. I'm not a fan of kids so I kind of dislike people just letting their kids run around and just do what they like so that was a little annoying but definitely not the laundromats fault. Other than that, the machines went from normal to pretty darn big, and even though I'm used to washing at home for free I definitely think the prices were probably pretty reasonable. I'm hoping I'll never have to revisit but that's only because I like washing at home, but if my machine decides to break on me again I'll definitely consider using this place again. read more

Worst laundromat possible. Although advertised to be open until midnight, it closes whenever owner wants. Beware of owner/tow truck tandem. They don't even wait until closing time.
