I have been a client at Bright Look Cleaners for many years. I continue to go back because they are so careful with my clothing and always honor any special requests. One time I took some clothes for dry cleaning and they were ready when they said they would be (they have fast service), except for one piece. There was a mark on the blouse which I didn't see, but the owner's eyes (Yalina) didn't miss it and kept the blouse back to ensure that the mark was taken out. A couple of days later, I got it back and all was well. It is great when a challenge is corrected when you didn't know you had one!! They have a tailor, and they have altered many pieces for me over the years. Pricing is great, and they are so wonderful to work with! If you haven't been there yet, give them a try! They quoted me a price over the phone for dry cleaning 2 hats that I thought was reasonable- $22 for both. The hats cost $20 new on Amazon, so ok. Came in to drop them off, signed receipt, wait for 5 days. Came back in to pick up, young girl up says she quoted me $22 each, not for both!!! Seriously??!??! No you did not, she told me $22 for both!!! twice she said for both!!! Be wary of this dry cleaners, they will bait and switch you. And they have your clothing so there is little you can do!!! I could have bought 2 new hats for this price!!! These people are deceptive and misleading in their business practices. I have left 2 other reviews, one on yelp and calif dept of consumer affairs. BAIT AND SWITCH- GO ELSEWHERE. OVERPRICED. I was quoted a price for hemming pants, lower than elsewhere, the total for the suit was more than the suit cost. Never given the pant hem price as offered. $9.00 to launder a man's cotton shirt. Locally the price at best cleaners is $4.50. Other customer, waiting for shop to open at 10 (not 9 as posted) said: "I always thought I was being overcharged." WELL HE WAS, AND YOU WILL BE TOO. Charged $24.00 to press suit after doing coat cuffs, other alteration shops do as part of the alteration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF SHOP. Other cleaners and alterations on 17th Street, I should never have gone to Bright Look. Hours said 9 am- after most people are already at work, don't plan a drop off in the morning. I got there at 9:30, still closed. Dry cleaner prices should all be comparable because all the cleaning is done by an outside major facility, not in the little shop you go to. $9.00 to launder a shirt is OUTRAGEOUS. I got the shirt on sale for $14 from Neimans. I WILL NEVER, NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HORRID PLACE. AND IF THEY DAMAGED THE SUIT- SMALL CLAIMS HERE I COME. read more

Had my suit dry cleaned here there prices seem well above other places in the area which is strange. Come to find out I don't think they can dry clean a suit my suit was sent out from there place to another to have it pressed and starched. Was told I could pick up Monday at 11am or earlier I came in twice and my suit wasn't there the lady who was inside had her kid there and was on her phone seemed peeved I was interrupting her phone call which she never hung up she talked to me and the call at the same time very interesting business professionalism. By the time another lady drove up in her personal car with literally only my suit and that was it inside she was outside talking to a guy cleaning his car while her customer is standing inside waiting. At the end when she came in I went to pay for my suit and show a yelp coupon she wouldn't take the yelp coupon put something else on it which I left paying 16 instead of 18. Said well she removed some charge or watever honestly I just wanted to get going at that rate. Said well next time bring a normal item and we'll add on the yelp coupon. Excuse me what is considered a normal item at a dry cleaner? Suits, Dresses, dress shirts. Things that need to be starched and pressed which they cannot do at there facility the lady on the phone told me they have to send it out to get done. I honestly think the most they do is regular laundry which in this case just call yourself a high end laundry service not a dry cleaner if you require sending it to another to do the job your paid for. They dry clean my clothes on time and removes the occasional stains on a shirt with no problem. They altered my girlfriends dress for a wedding we were attending out of state. We needed it in a rush and they turned it out the same day! they also recently repaired a sofa cushion cover that the plastic zipper broke on. They replaced the zipper with a high quality metal one and let out the material so it's not busting at the seam when trying to zip up. I went to this cleaners based on these Yelp reviews and was hoping to find a new reliable dry cleaning service. I dropped off a wedding dress and two other dresses for cleaning. The wedding dress was very dirty at the hem but they said it would be no problem to clean. They quoted $50 to clean it and $18 each for the other two dresses. It took them 3 weeks after I called twice to check on status. They never mentioned it would cost more except to say they would call me if the cost would be higher. They never did. When I picked up the three dresses they tried to charge me $380 for the wedding dress and more for the other two than quoted. I have reported these misleading practices appropriately. There was still some dirt on the dress and they snagged one of the other dresses. I will not be back to this shady place. read more

I found them thru my Yelp app. I needed to hem my jumpsuit for a company gala. I went in on a Monday and on Thursday I was able to pick up my outfit. That evening even after putting on my tallest shoes; I realized that the hem was still not enough. The day before my gala, on Friday morning I called and explained that the original hem wasn't sufficient enough. She simply asked me to drop by at lunch and before my day was over, they had saved the day and my outfit! Another 2 inches removed only with smiles and great customer satisfaction was given. In addition, I only wear high quality clothing and they are able to clean it with proper care unlike other cleaners. We didn't have a steamer or iron and some good shirts needed tender love and care - the shirts got just that. All the creases perfect the collars perfect and YALINA was so nice.
