I have never had anything tailored before, and Yalina made the experience less stressful - she addressed all my questions about the dress alteration process. Due to a tight timeline, she worked hard to make sure all the modifications were not just done, but also to my liking! The dress fit perfectly after tailoring! Out of all the bridesmaids who got their dresses tailored, mine looked the best. I'd recommend this store and Yalina to anyone reading this! read more

Been coming here for a while now for both - dry cleaning and altering. Can't say enough good things about this family ran business ! Been suggesting this place to friends and family so it was time to leave a review also. Fast turnaround time for both ( altering / dry cleaning ), family ran business, plenty of parking, affordable pricing ! read more

OUTSTANDING SERVICE !!! Came by recently with my parka jacket that needed its old pockets replaced. Although I've lived nearby for decades, I've never tried their services. I was treated like family by Yalina, a respectful, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable woman. Came by today to pick it up and surprise, surprise ! I was stunned by the utmost quality service they did with my jacket and fairly priced. They certainly got a new happy, loyal customer here. Like the old saying..."never judge a book by its cover" read more

We've been going to Bright look for years they have the best service, kind caring and personally handled. We would highly recommend

I have been using this door pick up and delivery dry cleaner for years! Hands down its owned and run by Yalina who insists clients always receive 5 star results. I use dry cleaning and fluff and fold and have always been more than pleased with the results. Door to door service is an absolute time savor and so much appreciated. I highly highly recommend this specific dry cleaner for your personal or business needs. read more

Yalina and Emma were amazing and went above and beyond to help me. I will definitely be back when I am in OC! Thank you!!!!

I have been a client at Bright Look Cleaners for many years. I continue to go back because they are so careful with my clothing and always honor any special requests. One time I took some clothes for dry cleaning and they were ready when they said they would be (they have fast service), except for one piece. There was a mark on the blouse which I didn't see, but the owner's eyes (Yalina) didn't miss it and kept the blouse back to ensure that the mark was taken out. A couple of days later, I got it back and all was well. It is great when a challenge is corrected when you didn't know you had one!! They have a tailor, and they have altered many pieces for me over the years. Pricing is great, and they are so wonderful to work with! If you haven't been there yet, give them a try! Tell the Crystal sent you!! read more

The service here is unbeatable. It's really close to me so it's convenient. The staff is kind and attentive. My clothes are well taken care of...each piece is looked over carefully. I brought in some old coats recently and they seriously look new again. Also, the owner and I have the same taste in coats :). Highly recommend! read more

Exceptional service and quality of cleaning. Took a bunch of shirts there. Had some stains around collars. All needed dry cleaning. Came out perfect and nicely pressed. read more

They quoted me a price over the phone for dry cleaning 2 hats that I thought was reasonable- $22 for both. The hats cost $20 new on Amazon, so ok. Came in to drop them off, signed receipt, wait for 5 days. Came back in to pick up, young girl up says she quoted me $22 each, not for both!!! Seriously??!??! No you did not, she told me $22 for both!!! twice she said for both!!! Be wary of this dry cleaners, they will bait and switch you. And they have your clothing so there is little you can do!!! I could have bought 2 new hats for this price!!! These people are deceptive and misleading in their business practices. I have left 2 other reviews, one on yelp and calif dept of consumer affairs. I hope others don't have to go through this experience. Buyer beware!!! read more

Been coming here a while - they always do a fantastic job and are so friendly! Best dry cleaners I've been to

BAIT AND SWITCH- GO ELSEWHERE. OVERPRICED. I was quoted a price for hemming pants, lower than elsewhere, the total for the suit was more than the suit cost. Never given the pant hem price as offered. $9.00 to launder a man's cotton shirt. Locally the price at best cleaners is $4.50. Other customer, waiting for shop to open at 10 (not 9 as posted) said: "I always thought I was being overcharged." WELL HE WAS, AND YOU WILL BE TOO. Charged $24.00 to press suit after doing coat cuffs, other alteration shops do as part of the alteration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF SHOP. Other cleaners and alterations on 17th Street, I should never have gone to Bright Look. Hours said 9 am- after most people are already at work, don't plan a drop off in the morning. I got there at 9:30, still closed. Dry cleaner prices should all be comparable because all the cleaning is done by an outside major facility, not in the little shop you go to. $9.00 to launder a shirt is OUTRAGEOUS. I got the shirt on sale for $14 from Neimans. I WILL NEVER, NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HORRID PLACE. AND IF THEY DAMAGED THE SUIT- SMALL CLAIMS HERE I COME. read more

Best place to get any needed alterations done. I am lucky enough to live down the street from this place. I have been having them fix and all of my old clothes that need fixing. I just brought my one of a kind sample Nike sb sweatshirt there to get resized. Its a large and I wear a medium but I was extremely nervous considering it's the only one I have ever seen. Customer service is the best part about this business. I text/call the store owner, Yalina, and she always gets back to me. Yalina is a hard working entrepreneur. This is a true family business. I came here after being treated very poorly at two other dry cleaners nearby and I've stayed here for almost three years. read more

Yalina the owner is literally the BEST. She takes good care of you, always keeps you in the loop & is amazing at communicating. I stopped by the other week looking for her specifically for a question I had & she wasn't there but later she personally reached out and called me on my cell phone to ask how she could help me! Like who does that?? I've gotten a couple items altered here as well as regular dry cleaning and they always turn out absolutely amazing. She is the friendliest & her service is incredible. I love her & her staff! Honestly since I've found them almost a year ago, I don't see myself going anywhere else! read more

Had my suit dry cleaned here there prices seem well above other places in the area which is strange. Come to find out I don't think they can dry clean a suit my suit was sent out from there place to another to have it pressed and starched. Was told I could pick up Monday at 11am or earlier I came in twice and my suit wasn't there the lady who was inside had her kid there and was on her phone seemed peeved I was interrupting her phone call which she never hung up she talked to me and the call at the same time very interesting business professionalism. By the time another lady drove up in her personal car with literally only my suit and that was it inside she was outside talking to a guy cleaning his car while her customer is standing inside waiting. At the end when she came in I went to pay for my suit and show a yelp coupon she wouldn't take the yelp coupon put something else on it which I left paying 16 instead of 18. Said well she removed some charge or watever honestly I just wanted to get going at that rate. Said well next time bring a normal item and we'll add on the yelp coupon. Excuse me what is considered a normal item at a dry cleaner? Suits, Dresses, dress shirts. Things that need to be starched and pressed which they cannot do at there facility the lady on the phone told me they have to send it out to get done. I honestly think the most they do is regular laundry which in this case just call yourself a high end laundry service not a dry cleaner if you require sending it to another to do the job your paid for. Will never return. read more

They are the best place to take your most loved pieces of clothing! I have been going to them for decades as the owner used to be a manager to a Cleaners in Corona Del Mar (Newport Beach). Even though we live in Laguna Beach, I trust my clothing (my collection) to NO one else! I work in the Entertainment Industry (PR + Marketing) and have to always look my best and Bright Looks Cleaners ALWAYS makes me feel confident in my outfits. Thank you BLC Team on an incredible job! Came here to get a dress altered and my mans suit altered. The lady in the front was a very sweet lady who knew how to run a business. I needed the dress for a wedding in NY within 2 days and they actually altered my dress in an hour.. cost 16$! Amazing dealio. Im planning on bringing more business over here because its rare to find people in this industry that do beautiful jobs at such a pace and that price. Not to mention how nice they were~ read more

Love the finished result of my bridesmaids dress! It took a week, which was perfect for me and it fits great compared to the original size -including the length of it. Best dry cleaner I have found. Yalina is the sweetest person and brightens my day every time I go in. I have had issues in the past with other dry cleaners but I have full trust in Yalina because she works hard and she cares. Completely satisfied every time with the quality in cleaning and service. read more

Nicest people ever! Quality, affordable service is hard to find but I found exactly what I was looking for from Bright Look! They dry clean my clothes on time and removes the occasional stains on a shirt with no problem. They altered my girlfriends dress for a wedding we were attending out of state. We needed it in a rush and they turned it out the same day! they also recently repaired a sofa cushion cover that the plastic zipper broke on. They replaced the zipper with a high quality metal one and let out the material so it's not busting at the seam when trying to zip up. Overall, I can't say enough about how they've met all my expectations. So if you're looking for a reliable, affordable dry cleaner in Costa Mesa then look no further! read more

I went to this cleaners based on these Yelp reviews and was hoping to find a new reliable dry cleaning service. I dropped off a wedding dress and two other dresses for cleaning. The wedding dress was very dirty at the hem but they said it would be no problem to clean. They quoted $50 to clean it and $18 each for the other two dresses. It took them 3 weeks after I called twice to check on status. They never mentioned it would cost more except to say they would call me if the cost would be higher. They never did. When I picked up the three dresses they tried to charge me $380 for the wedding dress and more for the other two than quoted. I have reported these misleading practices appropriately. There was still some dirt on the dress and they snagged one of the other dresses. I will not be back to this shady place. read more

Short girl problems....yep, I have them. So finding a great alteration or someone I can believe to get the job done right is important. Enter Bright Look! I found them thru my Yelp app. I needed to hem my jumpsuit for a company gala. I went in on a Monday and on Thursday I was able to pick up my outfit. That evening even after putting on my tallest shoes; I realized that the hem was still not enough. The day before my gala, on Friday morning I called and explained that the original hem wasn't sufficient enough. She simply asked me to drop by at lunch and before my day was over, they had saved the day and my outfit! Another 2 inches removed only with smiles and great customer satisfaction was given. Bright Look cares and they respect and know the importance of getting the job done correctly. I am grateful! Thanks sooo much! read more

I absolutely love this company's service! They always pick up my cleaning on time and deliver on time. In addition, I only wear high quality clothing and they are able to clean it with proper care unlike other cleaners. I even gave them a high end comforter my pet had an accident on and they were able to clean it and have it look brand new which was much more cost effective than buying a new one. I completely support this family owned small business and encourage you to give them a try. read more
