This time I ordered the Schmidt Mac Burger with Parmesan Fries, while my wife had the Wagyu Reuben with a side salad. Every bite was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy with just the right amount of Parmesan, and my wife's Reuben was loaded with flavor. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. After our meals were delivered, our server rarely checked back. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, and our water glasses sat empty long enough that we finally had to ask another server for refills. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it definitely wasn't the level of service you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. One thing to know before you go--the prices are on the higher side. My burger and Parmesan fries were around $33, so this isn't your average burger joint. That said, the quality of the food helps justify the price. Overall, the kitchen absolutely delivers, and that's why we'll be back. Hopefully this was just an off day for the service staff, because if the front of the house matched the outstanding food coming from the kitchen, Craftsman would easily earn five stars.

Ordered a burger which I ordered medium rare, and had to bring it back since it was cooked very well done. When it came back it was also well done, but I bit the bullet because I was hungry. The margarita was overpriced and tasted more like syrup than a margarita. Thought it was on happy hour, but nope. The service was slow, maybe it was because we were on the patio. Though she was nice ,but she never asked about the burger after it came back out, so I couldn't even tell her it still wasn't cooked right. I love Bob's, and I hope this was just a fluke of it being mud season.

It was fairly busy for a Sunday in the off season. There was a 15-minute wait for a table for three inside, so we opted to sit outside and were seated right away. The patio is cute, with flowers and perfect for a good weather day. We shared an order of the classic French toast for the table, and it was solid, exactly what you'd expect. I was torn between a few items on the menu, and our waiter recommended the eggs Benedict. They were able to split my order in half, so I got to try two. The chicken and waffles Benedict was the standout for me. It's served over a sweet potato waffle with a chicken tender on top and an egg on top of that, and it was so good. The other was the bison tenderloin Benedict, which was solid but not as good as the chicken and waffles in my opinion. I subbed the hash browns for a side of fruit.
