The burger was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy with just the right amount of Parmesan, and my wife's Reuben was loaded with flavor. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. After our meals were delivered, our server rarely checked back. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, and our water glasses sat empty long enough that we finally had to ask another server for refills. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it definitely wasn't the level of service you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. One thing to know before you go--the prices are on the higher side. My burger and Parmesan fries were around $33, so this isn't your average burger joint. That said, the quality of the food helps justify the price. Overall, the kitchen absolutely delivers, and that's why we'll be back. Hopefully this was just an off day for the service staff, because if the front of the house matched the outstanding food coming from the kitchen, Craftsman would easily earn five stars.

Ordered a burger which I ordered medium rare, and had to bring it back since it was cooked very well done. When it came back it was also well done, but I bit the bullet because I was hungry. The margarita was overpriced and tasted more like syrup than a margarita. Thought it was on happy hour, but nope. The service was slow, maybe it was because we were on the patio. Though she was nice ,but she never asked about the burger after it came back out, so I couldn't even tell her it still wasn't cooked right. I had the burger with cheese and thought it was ok, decent but not fantastic. We shared some truffle fries and they were ok. The server was friendly but there were several service glitches. He didn't seem to listen or remember some ordering details. I said we wanted the wings to share as a starter but he delivered it to me, with one small plate along with my main. I said we wanted a larger basket of fries to share, Not the smaller side of fries one of us suggested, but he brought both. He did several check-ins after serving, which was appreciated.
