2/5 Stars Unfortunately, I have to give this place two stars. We ordered two turkey burgers, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and two milkshakes. The burgers were $15.95 each and didn't even come with fries. The fries were an additional $5, and sauces cost extra as well. Our total bill came to $81, which I thought was extremely expensive considering none of the meals included fries and even the sauces were an additional charge. The ordering process was strange from the moment we walked in, and the staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming. The food came out fairly quickly, which was one of the few positives. The chicken sandwich was actually pretty good--I'd give it about a 7/10--and it was easily the best thing we ordered. Unfortunately, the turkey burgers were not good at all and lacked flavor. The chicken tenders were clearly frozen and did not seem homemade. The milkshakes were also disappointing and didn't taste like much. What really bothered me was the service. After realizing the burgers did not come with fries, I went to the front of the restaurant to ask if I could order some. The employee told me yes, but explained that orders had to be placed at the counter in the back. I immediately went to the back counter and waited. Both employees saw me standing there, but neither acknowledged me or offered to help. One employee was delivering an order while the other was simply standing there. After waiting about five minutes without anyone taking my order or even speaking to me, I finally left without ordering the fries or sauces. It was frustrating and made me feel completely unwelcome. Overall, I did not feel welcome, did not enjoy the experience, and would not return. Found this little spot on Yelp while in the Snowmass area, and sure glad I did! The atmosphere was pretty cool with an open style kitchen and a cooked to order style ordering. Everything was amazing from start to finish. We had two regular cheeseburgers and a Turkey Burger in a lettuce wrap. All were delicious and Skylar our server and cashier was awesome. This was a great burger within in 100 miles. Easily and by far heads above the rest. read more

I got a BLT and it was great. Next time I'll ask for extra bacon though.. a personal preference. It was perfectly toasted and yummy! My boyfriend liked his burger and the fries were HOT and tasty. I think the ambiance was a bit lacking unfortunately. It seems like during Covid they moved the ordering station to the front and never moved it back. There were boxes of dry storage items in the dining room which felt a bit awkward honestly. I had the Sure Thing Burger with fries and the fries were the best thing about the meal, and they were bland - no salt or seasoning. Ordered Ranchito burgers and fries. I really liked how the ordering process was smooth, the second I walked in. No silly confusing lines of kiosks (overrated tech) The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. Now let's address the elephant in the room. The prices are premium. But let's compare it to the likes of Shake Shack...you get more bang for your buck at Sure Thing. And you get free ice cream with your purchase. Stopped here on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. I had the turkey burger, which was very good. At many places they can be bland, but this one was well seasoned, without being too spicy. Fries were good, not the best ever, but a good side. Knocking off one star because: the person who took our order seemed put out that she had to do some work (we were some of the first customers, but once you're open you should expect people to come in). Was looking for a place to stop on the way home from snowboarding at Aspen and found this place. The burgers were amazing. We both got them lettuce wrapped and shared a basket of fries which was certainly enough for the two of us. The fries were perfectly crispy and we asked for their home made sauce to dip in, which was delicious and had a little kick to it! They are SERIOUS about lettuce wrapping their burgers. They did not fall apart and we're extremely satisfying and a healthy kick on a burger! The customer service was great too! Well... the theme is very familiar.... walk up order, self serve drinks and cleanup after yourself. Family table setting. Open kitchen. They're offering a free soft serve ice cream cone. Dipped of course... if you wish... This area needed a good burger joint. Clean kitchen and dinning area. Staff stayed busy and kept things tidy and moving along. We walked in to see what that in the way of a veggie burger. They have one. It's fried - which is unusual and out of our typical wheelhouse - but we tried 2 anyway. Surprise! I had the deluxe burger with bacon, cheese, & chipotle sauce and my wife had the veggie burger which she said was the best she had ever had, rolled in panko breadcrumbs to give it a crispy texture. My burger was juicy, flavorful, & served on a homemade brioche style bun. Free soft serve ice cream with purchase was a nice touch. -0.5* for the lackluster fries, which were fine but not worthy of the great burgers they were paired with. These folks do a very nice vegie burger. It is a house-made patty with some grains and legumes. It is served with a nice sauce and bun. The fries are an extra but worth it.
