2/5 Stars Unfortunately, I have to give this place two stars. We ordered two turkey burgers, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and two milkshakes. The burgers were $15.95 each and didn't even come with fries. The fries were an additional $5, and sauces cost extra as well. Our total bill came to $81, which I thought was extremely expensive considering none of the meals included fries and even the sauces were an additional charge. The ordering process was strange from the moment we walked in, and the staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming. The food came out fairly quickly, which was one of the few positives. The chicken sandwich was actually pretty good--I'd give it about a 7/10--and it was easily the best thing we ordered. Unfortunately, the turkey burgers were not good at all and lacked flavor. The chicken tenders were clearly frozen and did not seem homemade. The milkshakes were also disappointing and didn't taste like much. What really bothered me was the service. After realizing the burgers did not come with fries, I went to the front of the restaurant to ask if I could order some. The employee told me yes, but explained that orders had to be placed at the counter in the back. I immediately went to the back counter and waited. Both employees saw me standing there, but neither acknowledged me or offered to help. One employee was delivering an order while the other was simply standing there. After waiting about five minutes without anyone taking my order or even speaking to me, I finally left without ordering the fries or sauces. It was frustrating and made me feel completely unwelcome. Overall, I did not feel welcome, did not enjoy the experience, and would not return. No silly confusing lines of kiosks (overrated tech) The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. Now let's address the elephant in the room. The prices are premium. But let's compare it to the likes of Shake Shack...you get more bang for your buck at Sure Thing. And you get free ice cream with your purchase. Was looking for a place to stop on the way home from snowboarding at Aspen and found this place. The burgers were amazing. Just moved into the Willits area straight from Honolulu and this was the first place for us to grab a bite to eat for lunch. Little that we know that this place had it's start in Maui. You'll always find the owner watering the plants or behind the xounter in the kitchen. What can I say, they have a nice selection of burgers with the ranchito burger being my favorite with just a spice on the sauce. Ask for a side of sauce for the fries! Good stuff. A lot of flavor in thier burger with soft buns. Salads is always an option. Asides from the normal selection of drinks, they also have draft beer. An excellent pairing for your burger and fries or salad : ) Everything comes off hot off the grill and fryer to order. To put the cherry on top, you can get a free ice cream cone, dipped or not after you had your meal. I remember once we walked in and didn't order anything and they gave us free ice cream. Happy face. What makes me give this place 5 stars is, hands down, the hospitality. Two weeks later, we come in and the host welcomes us by name! Wow! You don't see this kind of hospitality at most high end hotels to say the least. And to this day, they still remember us by name. Impressive for this level of service at a hamburger shop.
