This is our 3nd beer pilgrimage, the first one being Hillfarmstead and the 2nd being Brussels. This…read moreplace is certainly out of the way and difficult to find. It's located on the lower level of a building and below street level. It's right below Bonfire Coffee so if you see that store, park there. You'll miss it if you're looking for an obvious sign. They may have some small plastic signs in front of some dirt parking spots you might be able to look out for. If the parking spots are taken, you're screwed. Do your research, check out the pictures on yelp. We were scheduled for a 2pm tour ($20 per person). We got here at 1:20 or so and went inside to see what the process was for check in. A guy told us that they were closed and to come back at 2pm. We were dropped off so we had nowhere else to go. There certainly were no businesses around to visit. We decided to just sit outside on the patio where they had some chairs and tables and enjoy the view. The view is certainly beautiful. The brewery overlooks a river and walking path. There's a bridge if you walk a little bit north of the brewery that may get you to the walking path. I would consider this a boutique brewery, catering to those special craft beer nerds who love their sours. I imagine only locals come by and those who care enough about good sours to make the 3hr+ drive from Denver. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. There was a shower in there so I'm guessing the brewers spend a lot of time in the warehouse. Our guide, John, was very entertaining and loud. There was no issue hearing him as he guided us through the history of the brewery and the brewing process. There were probably 30-40 people who came for the tour. The portions were good and of course, the beer was too. The main reason we came was for the bottled beer. Casey doesn't distribute to liquor stores (as far as I'm aware & at the time we went in late 2018) and so the only way to get their stuff is to go to the brewery directly. Being the beer geeks we are, we loved getting to visit this awesome brewery. Come, enjoy, buy the beer, trade with us : P

It's definitely a place that we'll come back to. They have a bunch of excellent beers and there is a food truck in the back that serves delicious wood fired thin crust pizza and other "gourmet street food" according to the writing on their truck. We had two of their large pies and an order of Wisconsin cheese curds. Between the four of us, I think we are all but one slice. As for the beer, I think we had at least 6 different beers. They have a great selection of pilsners and lagers that are around 5-6% abv, which is good since we had to drive. They also have a couple coolers with soft drinks for kiddos, DDs and those that don't drink beer. They also had a couple of hard seltzers available. All of the beers we tasted were great. I'd recommend getting a flight of 4 if you want to try a few different kinds. My favorite is probably theirr Free Stone lager. The space is pretty unique. All parking is in the back in a crushed stone parking lot. There is a deck off the front and the back. I think most of the action is either inside or on the back seating area. There was a gigantic TV inside where there was a football game showing, but we stayed mostly on the deck outside except for coming into get more beer and use the restrooms. There were three restrooms, M, W and either. Lots of high top tables inside and a handful of rocking chairs on the back deck. Be sure to bring a jacket or other layers because as soon as the sun goes down, we'll, it's Colorado so you should know. The temps dropped pretty quickly. It's a great place to bring well behaved dogs and meet up with friends for good food and drinks. We're adding it to our down valley rotation.

Beginning with the greeting, they were absolutely lovely, very polite, sat us right away, we went on a non busy day so we had pretty much the second floor to ourselves. The host was lovely and then our waitress came and was just as nice, a great way to start a meal. We ended up getting the buffalo wings, SO GOOD, crunchy, lathered in sauce, tender enough, so flavorful, with a side of ranch. We had the onion rings, and let me tell you, those were BIG rings ! Again, nice and crunchy and so enjoyable. Last but not least, we had the loaded nachos and WOAH! Let me tell ya, this dish can feed up to 4+ people! It was only 2 of us and we were in shock at how big these nachos were so keep that in mind! They had beef, pico de gallo, salsa, cheese and they used different chips too, the regular and the blue tortilla chips, omg MOUTH WATERING! Full of flavor, very well made, everything about them was great! To drink we only had club sodas with lime but they do have a full bar and by the looks of it, they had it all so if Youre a drinker, this is also the place for you! The place was chill, dimmed lights, nice music not overly loud so you can still carry on a conversation , and very clean which is always on top of my list. The price was reasonable and I just loved it! This place was great in every way! Definitely HIGHLY recommend!
