This place has really nice food and pretty good service for such a small restaurant. The owners are really kind and generous with our local elementary school and teachers too. Kuddos to that! We went here for dessert last Saturday and it was delicious as usual. read more

Hummus plate comes with 6 falafel balls, lot of hummus ofcourse and pita on side. $16. Portion size was huge, I saw almost everyone taking to-go boxes. Salad bowl was good as it had some veggies but falafel is very dry so hummus bowl is hard to finish. Person taking order at counter was bringing food to tables. They have some seating both inside and outside. Since weather was sunny, most of the people were sitting outside. read more

I ordered the gyro plate to go. It was enough to make a gyro sandwich which if ordered by itself is a little cheaper. Not sure the difference. I'm not from Colorado so I didn't know what to expect. The gyro meat was under seasoned. The to go plate came with a couple pieces of gyro meat and a mixture of chopped cucumber, tomato, cilantro, and red onion mixture. The tzatziki sauce was thick and bland. It also came with pita bread that you can split open to fill. Not use to this experience normally receiving yellow rice, flat bread, and a nice amount of well seasoned lamb and beef mixture (gyro) on a plate. This is a great restaurant right by the City Market. A perfect place to eat before/after getting groceries. They have homemade soups that are amazing! And the other dishes are excellent too. This is a place we will stop every time we are back in this area. read more

Their food is quite delicious. We usually get a chicken shawarma plate. Purple cabbage that comes with it makes the dish even better. Also, don't forget to get their carrot cake. YUM! The place is always clean, and the outdoor dining area is a plus! read more

We stopped here for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. Their croissant was fantastic but dinner was the real treat. I had the sabich meal and I'm still thinking about how delicious it was. The hummus was smooth and creamy and the pickled cabbage and Israeli salad were the perfect counterbalance. My husband had the chicken shawarma and loved it. The kids had the chicken tenders and they were house made and also delicious. Everything was clearly made fresh . I ordered the falafel sandwich. With this item, there's a delicate balance between the acidic or vinegary tastes on one hand, and the cream or heavier tastes on the other. Here it was altogether too vinegary. The vinegar drenched spinach ended up tasting like sauerkraut and distracted from the taste of the dish. It's acceptable, but I've had better in LA. They don't make fresh iced tea, and instead refer you to bottles in their refrigerator. That's disappointing. The wait help asks if you want French fries. To me, that's an odd garnish with a falafel. They should have served a small amount of hummus with pita bread And or a little side salad. The place is clean pleasant and cool when it's disgustingly hot outside. I did not try the baklava. The dessert items looked above average. To me, this could be a 5 star establishment with some refining. read more

5 stars for great food. 2 stars for recent customer service. 4 stars historic customer service. When Jaffa first opened, customer service was great! Tonight was a really different experience. We wanted to call in an order. The phone was answered, and we were told we'd be helped after 2 more customers. She didn't put us on hold, she just put the phone down. We heard many more than 2 orders being taken as we waited. Husband decided just to drive over, figuring she would pick back up during his drive. 20 minutes later, he walked into Jaffa and their phone was still sitting on the counter. Here's the thing: when he was second in line at Jaffa, she picked up the phone. When the husband pointed out that he was in the store, there was no acknowledgment that that should not have happened. The reply was something like "maybe we shouldn't take to go orders during dinner rush." So he turned around and walked out. I'm disappointed, as our previous experiences have been so good. I hope they can get a handle on phone & carryout procedures, as Jaffa's food is amazing. read more
