    The O.G.

This is one of my go to stops for lunch when I'm in Crested Butte. My new favorite is the Greek salad with gyro meat - it's generously sized (as you can tell from the photos), and delicious. I love how casual this place is, and how friendly the staff is. Ordering is so easy at the counter, and they hand you a number, and bring your food over. Even when they're busy, they have the food out to you fairly quickly, which is great. Keep up the great work!

Ok, let's get into it. This place is phenomenal. Good was amazing. We had Og Pitas, fries and Thai rice bowl w Chicken. The pitas were awesome! Fresh ingredients, great flavor, a definite score! The Thai Rice Bowl w Chicken was great. Authentic flavors, good size portions for the money, totally worth it! And the fries... ridiculous! The menu says twister fries and needs to be edited but don't worry, the "replacement" fries are on point!! The establishment is a little hidden as far as street view signage but just look for the happy customers enjoying great food in the street under umbrellas (also located next to or under the Handworks sign. Since they like us to mention the ambiance... if you sit outdoors on a summers day, it's phenomenal. Beautiful weather, plenty of shade with the umbrellas provided. Views of the mountains surrounding. Friendly faces eating all around you. It's a great vibe. Indoors is OK... If you have the option and it's good weather, definitely go for outside.

Good dinner spot in Crested Butte especially for larger groups and a casual meal. The restaurant is pretty large and has booths and tables to eat at. The chicken pita was good, but the real standout was the basket of fries. So crispy and delicious!

Who would've thought that the pita joint was the place to watch college football in town?! First off, this hidden gem seems like a little Greek lunch place from the outside but inside it's a huge sports bar!!! Even while packed, staff was nice and attentive. Food came at a reasonable time and was hot. Order was right. Bathrooms were clean. All was great and the place was absolutely packed!! They had happy hour 2-5 with food and drink specials. Lots of local and domestic beers to choose from whether bottle or draft. Prices of beer were great and under 6 dollars for a craft beer even when it wasn't happy hour. Extra fun is if you picked your team when you ordered. They provided free Jell-O shots when the prospective team scored a touchdown. I didn't partake but it was fun to watch! Boneless Buffalo wings were spicy but I loved it. Greek fries were interesting and delicious. They consisted of curly fries with sauce and feta plus a meat of your choice (we got grilled chicken). It was different but I liked it. The atmosphere was fun, but not too wild. It was a perfect spot to hangout, drink, eat, and watch football.

Great place for lunch. Very casual atmosphere and the bartenders were very attentive and nice. Enjoyed their home made hummus and a Greek salad with chicken. There were so many items on the menu including a burger menu. Watermelon Sangria was amazing - not too sweet. Loved the atmosphere and plan on being back very soon.

We had drinks, dolmas, OG pita and loaded fries

We had drinks, appetizers and entrees. It's was all really good. The wait was short and the service good. It's a good spot to kill some time

We sat on the patio on a gorgeous evening and each ordered the O.G. - a lamb gyro that proved to be both filling and delicious. Each came with a side order with my wife choosing an unusual, though tasty tabouli salad and me a mundane Greek pasta salad. Service was more than satisfactory.

Food took over an hour to come out... Food was mid but also pricey. Would not come back. Good location and ambience tho.

Rude bartender/waitress and possibly the worst chicken pita I've ever had. Cool ambience though.

Absolute 20/10 Experience!…read more We hosted my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner and meet-and-greet at Bonez, and honestly, everything was absolutely perfect. We had a pretty large group, but our server, Rachel, was a total rockstar. She took incredible care of us and didn't skip a beat. The rest of the staff was also extremely kind, helpful, and on top of everything the entire night. We went with the family-style fajita dinner with chicken, beef, and shrimp, and the food was delicious. Everyone kept talking about how good it was! We also opted for a drink package, and the service was so seamless that not a single person had to wait for or ask for a drink. If you are looking to host an event in Crested Butte, I cannot recommend Bonez enough. They truly made our special weekend kick off in the best way possible!

Like a Dia De Los Muertos vibe with a laid back twist. We were seated in a cozy little booth. Our server showed up right away. He was friendly but professional. The skinny marg was fantastic. My husband enjoyed his draft beer. We ordered chips and salsa and were delighted when it came to the table. The fresh and crunch-errific chips came with a trio of in-house made salsas. All three were sooooo good. I'd never had a pineapple habanero salsa but now I'm determined to learn to replicate it at home. We were only in town two nights but next time we're in Crested Butte we will absolutely return to Bonez for dinner. YUM! PS the happy hour prices are REALLY good!

For parking you can either park next-door at a closedown store or try and find street parking for Tuesday with the World Cup being on it was a little busy and the weather was so they had the sliding doors open and you could either choose to sit inside or outside on the patio. Since it was a nice light breezy 90° day most people chose to sit outside, so all the patio tables were taken. We were told we could sit anywhere and they brought us a menu as soon as we seated. Are we just walked away and brought us back two glasses and a big craft of water. She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu which I do appreciate. But when she came back, asked if we had any questions I asked her how big the kids tiny burger was she said it's like the size of a slider and it came with nothing on it, but you could add whatever you wanted. I ended up going with the tiny burger off of the kids menu adding mayonnaise, lettuce, onion, and the bacon marmalade. My coworker ordered the same and a shredding tots. Food came out in a respectable amount of time. It was hot and fresh. You can see right into the kitchen as it is an old food trailer that they have set up as the cooking area, which was really cool. The waitress was bringing out food for other patrons. We noticed the size of the burgers and we were glad that we got the tiny ones. first bite of the burger was absolutely fabulous. It was juicy just enough pink and the flavors with the bacon marmalade out of this world. I did try one of my coworkers shredding. They were fabulous also with just a hint of blue cheese mixed in with the potato. Definitely a must try and will be going back the next time. I am in town.

Service was less than desirable. Forgetful, slow, maybe training, maybe lack of care. Food was just OK. We got the cheese curds which were over cooked, more than a good ratio were lacking cheese and was just breading. I had the prime rib and that was good, Rosemary crusted and fair serving size, Loaded baked potato and the house Mac'N'Cheese, all tasted good. The better half got the soup of the day, which was not the soup of the day (see comments about server), ended up with a potato soup that the server failed to mention had seafood. Non issue for us but we do have a child with seafood allergies SMH. 2 bites in and BAM; Salmon... The Chicken Fried steak lacked Flavor as did the gravy and the mashed potatoes. We had to ask for silverware and napkins multiple times, dessert was OK, Coffee showed up after we ate it... Carrot cake and a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, both run of the mill and not special. Bottom line: tourist prices for just OK food and service.

Everyone was very well pleased with the way the steaks were cooked, the presentation was nice, and the service was absolutely great by a gal named "Max" (which we figured was short for Maxine). Max absolutely loves her job, and it was obvious! She took great care of us! We were treated like long, lost friends, although it was my very first time in the restaurant. I strongly recommend checking this place out in Gunnison, the prices are quite fair for the type of food and the ambience.
