If you're in Gunnison, The Dive is absolutely worth a stop. The atmosphere is casual, laid-back, and fun, with a bar and TVs that make it a great place to unwind. The food is cooked from a food truck set up inside the space, which gives it a unique vibe. And don't let that fool you, the food is outstanding. My husband had the Dive Burger with a 7 oz Scanga beef and pork blend, gouda, bacon marmalade, and rocket, served with fries. It was rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I had the Chicken Scratch Sandwich with grilled chicken, brie spread, pear jam, and rocket on a warm croissant. I upgraded to tots with bacon and bleu cheese, and they were incredible. Everything was fresh, creative, and seriously delicious. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone passing through.

They allow dogs on the patio despite the yelp description saying "Industrial dive bar with a food truck kitchen and a large dog-friendly patio." The Cuban was good! We ordered a Pale Ale from High Alpine that was on tap and it definitely drank like a Pilsner/Lager. Not sure if this is on the brewery across the street or if they perhaps had the wrong keg!

The overall look of this place is very unique. It's an open style restaurant/bar with a food truck inside that serves as the kitchen. The decor is geared towards bike and Pearl Jam for the most part. The food is cheap and delicious. My husband and I both had the poutine, but he asked for grilled chicken on his. I tasted the chicken and it was phenomenal, it had almost a sweet flavor. Our son had chicken nuggets and they were thin cut and very crispy. I would definitely go back to this place when we come to Gunnison again.

Stayed the weekend in Gunnison and heard good things about this place. The menu had a variety of food but I love Cobb salads. This was one of my favorites and they loaded it. They didn't skimp out on anything so I was very pleased. Another bonus was it was just $13 so reasonable prices. 10/10 service and food came out pretty quickly even during dinner rush hour. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side so the tables are very close.

Another solid find in Gunnison. The Dive wasn't what I would call a "dive," but no worries here. We had a great time here. Guess where we sat? You know it - the bar. Seriously, the service never disappoints and you always learn something about the bar or place. Another cool feature was the kitchen playfully situated in a food truck, inside the main dining area. We had a great view to the hard working staff prepping, cooking and serving food. Cool feature #2 is The Dive's creativity around craft cocktails but with their beers. My guy ordered their Mai Tai IPA which was surprisingly fabulous. Y'all, I'm not (even remotely) an IPA girl and I would've had 14 of these, lol. So, for food, we shared their buttermilk chicken with shredded tots. Good but didn't knock my socks off. Their IPA Mai tai did, but not the sandwich. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Maybe a little more seasoning would've gotten my attention. Either way, we left with a smile. We def come back.

Boisterous spot in Gunnison, CO. It's billed as an industrial bar and the vibe fits the bill. It's pub food pumped up a notch. Complete with a converted food truck in the building which serves as the kitchen. It is a BUSY place. Sat at the bar and watched the 2 bartenders whirl and swirl. Service from the kitchen is on the slow side - the place is packed and I think they struggle to keep up. The food, once it was finally served, was really good. The cobb salad with chicken is a well rounded serving of fresh cut veggies, egg and avocado. Chicken is in chunks, moist and firm. Chicken sandwich is a crunchy fried chicken breast on a bun, atop house-made carrot salad, slathered with sriracha mayo. There's some heat in this one, but just the right amount to stimulate the taste buds without making your nose run. Not really a dive by my definition. Not white tablecloth to be sure, but a fun spot, with good food and great service. Worth a stop.

First impression -cool looking place ! Second impression-way too loud. Saw many people covering their ears. Until someone kindly turned it down. The menu is great - many lunch choices from the clever food truck kitchen. From sandwiches to salads all looked good. We had the Cobb salad and the Buratta! Both excellent. Beer and coffee were good also. Great stop on our way West!

Poutine with beef sauce. Cheese curds and fries. Very good. Yea Canada!!!

The crispy chicken sandwich is honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with just the right amount of heat. The kale salad and fries were also excellent, and everything came out quickly despite how busy the place was. The service was upbeat and welcoming, and the whole experience felt effortless. If you want a fun, laid-back lunch or dinner in Aspen without sacrificing quality, this is absolutely the place.

The service was wonderful, we got our food very quickly, and the ambiance was adorable. A little loud but nothing too crazy. The food itself was fine. We ordered the duo dip, French fries, the French dip, and the chicken sandwich. The guac and the other dip were really good and we loved the chips too. The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

We took two seats at the bar and were lucky enough to have Tina helping us, she was so friendly and knowledgeable, really a gem. We started with the fiery passion and the rum sour and were impressed by the complexity of flavors in both, the fiery passion was a real winner, with a taste of passionfruit, and the habanero pineapple in the rum really coming through, but not in a overly sweet way, just enough. The chili sugar rim was a unique way to really set it over the top. The rum sour was also delicious, the Demerara, giving it almost a hint of an old-fashioned, but keeping it light and foamy throughout. Such an incredible set of cocktails. I also had the tomato bisque soup, it was so yummy and cheesy, and the staff were nice enough to bring out some local made bread toasted on the side. Then, Tina made us her own special cocktail, a take on a strawberry spicy rum, with an egg white to give it a delicious foamy texture. All the drinks are delicious, and Tina noted that they were the strongest cocktails in the area, with 2 1/2 shots per drink. We were definitely feeling fun and talkative as we were leaving. This place was so upbeat, with games to choose from, but still keeping a refined mountain vibe. We tried to go back again the next day, but had finished earlier and the bar didn't open yet! Bummer. We don't find our way to crested Butte often but next time we are there, it will surely be a stop.
