Road tripping and needed some dinner. This was a great stop! We asked first and were told the patio was pup friendly as we had our two fur babies with us. I watched the pups while my husband and daughter put in their order, then it was my turn. They have laminated menus where you write your name and tick off the item you want and any sides or customizations. I got the Pickle Club toasted. It had honey smoked ham, smoked turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese. I opted for the parmesan bread and added lettuce, onion, pickle, and tomato. I had a root beer and some malt vinegar and salt potato chips along side. It came with a pickle spear too! I love me some pickles! This was a delicious sandwich! It was ready in no time even with a line of folks. I can see why this is a popular spot. Very casual and welcoming space. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. The patio was quite pleasant even with a heavier breeze.

WOW! Me myself didn't get a sandwich. BUT! My parents were with me and they did and said they were great! I got a pizza and figured it would be pretty good! It lived up to my expectations! It was pretty good but I have had better pizza. Basically what you would expect from a sandwich shop with pizza. But The Vibes Are Spot On And It Is Not Busy! Great Place To Stop By!

Quick lunch stop on a road trip turned into the best surprise! Honestly wish I lived nearby so I could come back!! Got the godfather and unfortunately the phone didn't eat first and didn't have a chance for a pic after eating so fast. The staff is so friendly and the vibes inside are great! Their ordering system is clear and simple: pick one of their base sandwiches then fill out a slip to customize your creation. These guys are killing it. Feels like they have been serving up great sandwiches for years here. We've tried many of the sandwiches and pizza - they're awesome. Have yet to try a salad but they look good. The outdoor area is nice to sit with your pup if you are so inclined. The indoor area and bar setting is just what you expect from a pub. Finally this old garage is put to good use. It has been cleaned up (ok, totally renovated) and turned into a great little pub. This is the pub Poncha (and Salida) needed. Awesome mix of dive-bar + funky west coast vibe. Out of the 12-15 times I've been there, the staff has been super nice and awesome 100% of the time. The food is great- limited menu overall but who cares when everything is good. One of my friends jokingly said that the bread on the sandwich is too small (in other words, they don't skimp on the innards!) The owner is super personable and fun to talk to when he's around. As a local I want success for him but hope the tourists don't overly discover and ruin it. Keep Poncha Poncha! read more
