Amica's has been a must-stop since I discovered it on the way from Santa Fe to BV about 20 years ago. Their Montenotte (add green Chile, no olives) has been atop or near the top of my "fave pizzas in Colorado" list ever since. I've had it piping hot and hours later around a campfire. It never fails to please. On my initial trips, this New Mexican thought he'd stumbled into an Il Vecino outpost. The menus differ nominally--Amica's has different names for the pizzas--but they overlap a lot. Gotta say, Amica's does it all better. . The old location was small, with limited seating/long lines, a cramped four seat bar, and grumpy man taking orders. Some things improve with age, though. Amica's moved to a much larger space nearby, ending the lines and counter service model, but adding a spacious, comfortable bar. The space is welcoming and roomy. No grumps in sight. Service is helpful, prompt, and friendly What hasn't changed? Delicious, well-crafted bougie pizza remains the prime attraction here. Ingredient quality still stands out and the crust, unique for ineffable reasons, hits the spot. I'm sure that calzones and salads have kept pace. The extensive menu includes most anything I'd expect from a legit Italian restaurant, including pastas, soups, panini, and desserts. . The Headwaters IPA will always have a special place in my heart, though my taste for malty IPAs might start and end with this one. Other beers from local brewery Soulcraft are on tap with those bearing Amica's brand. Salida's pizza offerings have grown over the years. Amica's is still my first option. Five Salida Pizza stars

Menu - The menu displays multiple pizza options with their names, ingredients, and prices. It includes specialty pizzas like Bianco, Roma, and Biella, as well as customizable options such as build-your-own. The menu also offers gluten-free and dairy-free choices, with additional charges. Each item lists ingredients and portion sizes, with prices for large and small sizes. The menu is printed on a white background with black and red text, organized into sections for easy navigation.

Clean restroom BUT a server (mature petite lady) had no bra on! I don't want to see this when I'm having lunch. Plus not too family friendly no matter her personal preference. Pizza very good. Not a fan of cracker crust (thin) but it was very good pie. Bianco - Chicken, Alfredo sauce was excellent. Classico - Pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms etc also great. Loved the flavor of the sauce and quality ingredients. Cool eclectic decor inside too.

We ordered carry out. Everything was very good including cannoli. Salad was very good too

We asked everyone we talked to tonight where to eat, and they all said Amica! They were not wrong. The interior was super cute, with plenty of room between tables. A gentleman at the bar recommended the Biella and the Thai pizza, and I think my eyes rolled into the back of my head they were so good. The Thai pizza had a peanut sauce on it that made it so unique. And the Biella had a balsamic reduction, which gave it a nice balance of sweet and savory. Do yourself a favor and get both. I literally could not have picked a favorite. They also had an amazing blood orange beer. The apricot sour was good as well, and not too sour, but the blood orange beer was eye popping good. Salida has amazing pizza and beer.

Now this place knows how to serve a big group! First timer, but the service was phenomenal! It's brewery! It's pizza! I had a small Caesar salad, Italian Blackcurrant soda, and Pizza al Pesto! The Italian soda could've been better and I should've asked without the whipped cream. The Caesar salad was your usual and it was good because some CAN mess it up. The best part was my pizza! I ordered the large one so that I can have leftovers. It was so good and one of the best parts were the pine nuts! I sprinkled fresh oregano and it was heavenly. I would love to come back one day when I'm in the area! Everyone left happy and full.

    Terracina pizza and Caesar salad

I was looking forward to some good pizza and craft beer, and this place was good but not the best I've had. We ordered the large Caesar to split, it was big enough for four people! The dressing was pretty good, but it was covered with cheap little croutons and mozzarella cheese, which was a little much. The pizzas were very unique with toppings but the thin crust does not hold up to them. And the crust is cracker thin and very dry and tasteless, needs a little salt. The hot oil on the table had a little heat but no flavor. I would stick to 2-3 toppings and add parm and red pepper to kick it up a notch. Service was great and very fast with multiple people taking care of us. I recommend going around 5 pm since it gets very busy at dinner time. It was pretty quiet when we got there but quickly got busy and noisy around 6:30. It does have outside seating if they are serving it.

    Pesto turkey panini

After reading all the rave reviews, we were pumped to give this place a shot. Party of 4. Sunday night. The place was buzzing, like the entire town decided to have dinner here. We waited the 50 minutes because hype, right? Big mistake. Huge. From the moment we ordered, it was a 60+ minute journey to food land. The kids were excited about the root beer... until they tasted it. Imagine liquid root beer hard candy. That's it. And their cups sat empty for 20 minutes, which is practically a lifetime in kid years. The server zoomed by our table like she was training for a marathon but didn't think to toss a refill our way. Daughter ordered the pesto turkey panini. Sounds good? Wrong. It came with a mayo swipe so tart it might've been tartar sauce in disguise. My son got the pepperoni pizza. "Meh" would be a generous review. He ate it solely because he was famished, not because it sparked joy. My sangria? Solid. Honestly, at this point, I was just grateful it showed up. Husband's sausage lasagna was the MVP. A true star in a lineup of flops. But one decent dish isn't enough to bring us back. So, yeah, we're not returning. Not mad--just disappointed. Okay, maybe a little mad. At least the sangria softened the blow.

    Spinach salad and pizza.

Great friendly staff. Quick service. Had the spinach salad and a pizza. Both were very good. If ever in the area would go again.

A large pizza with a thin crust is topped with green onions, ground meat, and melted cheese. It is served on a wooden table in a restaurant, with a person sitting behind it, partially visible. The pizza appears freshly baked with a slightly browned crust.

Was in town and stopped by for a late lunch. Staff was friendly. Menu is a decent size and you can also make your own pizza, which we did. It's was yummy, nothing spectacular but got the job done. Lots of seating indoors and very clean!

The restaurant interior includes a mural painted on the wall, with sections of exposed brickwork creating a textured effect. The ceiling has patterned tiles, and there are wooden and black light fixtures. Several patrons are seated at tables, and the overall atmosphere combines artistic wall decor with architectural details.

The food was SO good! The ambience was busy and noisy but the tasty food made it worth it. We will certainly eat there again.

Isla - A freshly baked pizza in a cardboard takeout box features a crust with a slightly charred edge. The toppings include melted cheese, slices of pepperoni, pineapple chunks, and caramelized onions. The pizza is placed on a dark countertop, with a glass of water and some napkins visible in the background. The image captures the pizza ready for delivery or takeout at a restaurant or pizzeria.

Stopped here with a party of four around 8 on Saturday and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. We were just getting drinks and ordered a pizza/salad to go. I thought their beer options were solid - I got a good coconut milk stout and my husband got a fun creamsicle drink! For food, we split the Isla (size large) and a large Caesar salad. The Caesar was tasty - I loved the dressing. The pizza was kind of small for being a large but the flavor was good and I liked that it came with hot oil, Parmesan and red pepper flake sides.

Number 11 with a Cesar salad

Stopped in here for a late last lunch yesterday on my way to Vail. I had the number 11 pizza with a Cesar salad and a German lager. The pizza was so amazing and I would highly recommend this place for anyone that visits Salida

We have been twice since they move and I don't know, the space is dreary, dark and very spread out (over three rooms). They haven't moved all their taps over so their beer menu is limited, but that is fine except they expect you to go to the bar to see the beer menu - there isn't a paper list or QR code at the table - which I find annoying. Also, If I want to pick up my beer and walk a few steps to play skee-ball this seems to throw the wait staff off. So I guess they expect us to eat, pay and THEN play - whatever - just run a card and let me roam! Oh and bring dollars and change because they don't have a change machine (and the games have not been converted for credit cards) and the one time we saw a couple ask the waitress to make change her attitude told me not to ever do that again. Yikes. Food is super basic. We ordered pretzels and they were literally super pretzels you can get at the supermarket that were barely nuked to make them sort of warm (for almost $9). We stopped going to eat here a few years back when they served me a gray hot dog - so the food is not for me. Beer is very fruity and some are good. They do have a wide variety of domestics and imports. I really wanted to love this place and I am guessing many will, but for me it is dark, food is basic and the new games are nice, but I wish they were easier to get change and just wander and play.

He suggested their Revolution beer but warned me it didn't come out quite like usual. so they added mango. Being the adventurous type, I said, "Why not?" First sip... home run! Easily my favorite of the night. One beer turned into a few, and before I knew it, I was closing the place down, talking with locals and the owner like we'd known each other for years. It was so good I came back the very next day to finish the beer list and check out the food. And let me tell you; Lord have mercy..... the food matched the beer in greatness. Perfect beer food. The burgers are standard pub fare (it's too bad they dropped the elk burger which was a definite winner!) BB has a phenomenal assemblage of beers which cater to a variety of palates. Our go-to's are the Avalanche Amber and Juice Drop Hazy but you really can't go wrong with their rotation. We do want to credit the staff. They really do make the BB experience what it is - they maintain great attitudes and deliver exceptional service while taking care of a full house of thirsty apres skiers. I found a seat at the bar and the bartender came to take my order. I mentioned that I was on a time crunch with having to catch the bus in approximately 35 minutes and just wanted to check to see if the kitchen could accommodate my schedule. I was a bit taken aback when he responded that he couldn't guarantee anything and the electricity could go out.... So I was going to pass on ordering, but then he said we better get my order in then. So I put in an order for fish and chips. Then he said the kitchen should not have a problem accommodating that time window.
