Buffalo Burger with Irish Mashed Potatoes
    Rachelle A.

Traveling through Pueblo for the holidays and decided to try this place based off other reviews. The hostess and waitress were friendly and we were seated right away. My husband had the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger with sweet potato waffle fries, and I got the Buffalo Burger with Irish mashed potatoes. Both burgers were average. Since it's a Saturday and they serve brunch until 2pm, my daughter ordered the Irish Biscuits. Unfortunately, we neglected to ask what a Scottish Egg was or if there was meat in the gravy. She prefers to eat only fish or chicken. But, she ate it anyways, and I give her credit because it didn't look appetizing. Lastly, I also ordered a cup of Irish Cheese soup. It says it has potatoes, white cheese, and ale/lager in it. There are no potatoes and the ale/lager taste made it overwhelming to where it could not be finished. Overall, this is not a place I'd go out of my way to eat at.

Excellent place. Wonderful server, extremely attentive. Pretty good food and drinks. Caramel apple cheesecake was probably the greatest dessert I've ever had in my entire life.

So I've never had scotch eggs before but they were delicious and the mustard wasn't tart it blended perfectly. Had the fish and chips, I would've preferred it crispier but it was still good. The service was great and had honest opinions. Prices were fair. I'll definitely return before I leave Pueblo.

It was a Friday night, almost 6 PM... the joint was busy and crowded. We had barely beat the rush and we were seated almost immediately. Great service, atmosphere and wonderful food and drinks! I just had to have the fish and chips, two or three pieces, two was just right and I couldn't finish the scrumptious chips. The cole slaw was tasty, too. My wife had Shamrock's Aungus Burger with cheese and chips, which she very much enjoyed, especially the chips. Shamrock, I believe, is Pueblo's first craft brewery (2005). I had a PAPA (Pueblo American Pale Ale, Columbus, Citra and Amarillo hops, 6.2% ABV) and my sweetie had Shamrock's root beer, both were very enjoyable. We also shared a Cheating Death (for dessert) - a Chocolate Coconut Porter (aged on dessicated coconut and Belgian dark chocolate, 7.4% ABV [chalkboard stated 8.0%]), the Porter was rich and creamy. I didn't particularly notice the dark chocolate but the coconut came through subtilty as I sipped. I most definitely recommend Shamrock Brewing and look forward to exploring both the food and beer offerings in future. Thank you, Shamrock Brewing, for a lovely respite and welcoming escape from the usual day-to-day runaround.

This is a beautiful place and so much more than a brewery. Lots of history on display, as evidenced by the gorgeous wood flooring, long mahogany bar, and vintage tile flooring. Drank a tasty brown porter with my lunch of Scotch eggs and Irish ale cheese soup. It was a sufficiently hearty meal before my long drive to Fort Collins. If I lived in Pueblo, I'd be here all the time!

Ordered pickup via their online ordering system on the restaurant homepage. I selected the order ahead option as I was placing my order before they were open. The confirmation page indicated an order ready time prior to 11am and gave a number to call with problems. No one answered the phone so I left a message indicating the order time issue. Upon arrival the hostess gave my a friendly greeting and let me know she had my order ready. I asked her about the time mix up and she indicated their system has an issue with acceping ahead orders so my food was ready anwhere from 45 to 15 minutes early causing the warm items to cool significantly. She did offer to get the chef for me which I declined as I am OK reheating as needed. The scotch eggs, even luke warm, were delicious. The sausage has a hint of sweetness and I can tell if they were eaten freshly fried there would br a delightful crunch on the outside which is mutted at the cooler temperature. While tasty, the amount of mustard dipping sauce is excessive for the portion. The Irish ale cheese soup was super rich and creamy with wonderfully savory cheese flavor. I didnt even reheat my cup and it was great. Perfect for dippling crusty bread. Slightly over salted which I don't mind but others with different preferences may. Would come back for another cup of this soup alone! The pub salad was a good size portion of fresh Lettuce topped with ample dried cranberries and croutons. Highly recommend the Honey beer mustard dressing but the takeout portion is a little small for the salad size. My order did include a drink which was left out and I forgot to ask for so partly my fault. Nice itish-pub esthetic clean establishment with a big bar and multi-room booth seating for dinning in. Parking was a little limited as I had to park on Santa Fe due to the spaces on 3rd being full (11:30am on a Wednesday).

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Meatloaf was cooked to perfection had a nice crust even at the bottom and with that Jamison barbecue sauce took over the top. The garlic mash was incredible and I wish I had more of the vegetables too they were seasoned and grilled to perfection. The service was great as always an atmosphere is always welcoming.

great brunch!!! Cute restaurant and bar! Friendly staff! our sunday brunch go to in Pueblo!

They worked with my allergens and had great food! I'm allergic to soy, gluten, and potato which makes things a challenge on trips. Even locally I end up eating the same 5 places. But this place was stellar. The waitress grabbed a manager and he and I walked through my allergies and concerns. We worked out I could have the corned beef with no sauce, no potato, extra veggies (cabbage and carrot). They use canola oil in the fryer to I could get sweet potato fries! Dad got the meatloaf which he ate all of and looked very satisfied with as well. Also had the house-made root beer, which was super good! I'm super pleased to say I had no adverse reactions and the food was great!

I stopped here for lunch today. From the outside, it comes across as a classic Irish Pub. After you enter, it gets better. There is a nice old school feel to this place. At the bar area they have nice old seating that you would expect at a diner. I love that they didn't use typical bar top chairs. There is plenty of seating at this establishment. Besides the bar side of the establishment, they have a whole other side with plenty of seating, both tables and booths. My waitress was friendly and accommodating. I ordered Fish & Chips. You have the option to order two or three pieces. The Fish & Chips comes with actual chips. Not imitation chips (typical fries that so many restaurants serve with this meal), a heaping of coke slaw and homemade tartar sauce. This meal was delicious! The homemade tartar sauce was great and I enjoyed every chip that I consumed. So glad I stopped by here today! Also, this establishment is an on-site brewery. They have a chalk board that features all of their latest brews. You can also see some of the brewery equipment through one of the interior windows. This would be a great place to go to for St Patty's Day or any other special celebration. I was impressed that a manager walked around to each table to see how everyone's meal was. I didn't know it at the time but the manager seated me when I walked in. He was nice and professional. Great to see a manager checking on patrons. If you have Irish roots or just enjoy a good ole' Irish Pub like myself, check this place out to see what you've been missing. This would also be a good place to take a date. Enjoy!

Went here on 4/30/2023. First time here. It is a pub with a full bar plus a brewery. A lot of seats at the bar then a different room with more tables. Host and waitress were very nice and attentive. We had the Irish red and the wee heavy. Very good beers! Just solid all around flavor. We ordered fish and chips and the Irish biscuits. Fish and chips were good. But nothing special. Actually the best thing on that plate was the tartar sauce. Irish biscuits was was biscuits and gravy with a Scottish egg in the middle. Gravy was good. The egg was hard boiled which I believe in a traditional Scottish egg the egg should have some runniness to it. Would definitely come back to try more beers.

Is there anyway to get delivery?

Don't know but if you can't get out hire one of those food delivery services. It's really good food and decent atmosphere for sure!

Do you all have private rooms for meetings and while there we would be having lunch?

We do not have private rooms at this time. We will when our expansion is completed in 2022. Thanks

Are dogs allowed to join guests on the patio?

Sorry I am late responding but I was traveling. Yes, dogs are welcome on the front patio. Thanks and hope to see you soon.

Pueblo, CO - The Secret Gem Revealed…read more Hands down, the hidden treasure of Pueblo sits quietly on the west side of town -- Reservoir Brewing. I strolled in after a long day of convention chatter downtown, feeling like a city-slicker cowboy wandering into an old ghost town. I pulled up a seat at the bar, surrounded by locals swapping stories and laughs. Behind the bar was the owner himself, ready to give me the lowdown on the beers. He suggested their Revolution beer but warned me it didn't come out quite like usual. so they added mango. Being the adventurous type, I said, "Why not?" First sip... home run! Easily my favorite of the night. One beer turned into a few, and before I knew it, I was closing the place down, talking with locals and the owner like we'd known each other for years. It was so good I came back the very next day to finish the beer list and check out the food. And let me tell you; Lord have mercy..... the food matched the beer in greatness. Perfect beer food. I started with the spicy habanero cheese curds (fiery but addictive) and then went in for the kill: The Rachel Fully Loaded with turkey, pastrami, and bacon on marbled rye, with chips on the side. That sandwich didn't stand a chance. Every crumb vanished. Naturally, I enjoyed a flight and stocked up with a couple of growlers to go. (Flip Flamingo Rule #1: Always keep empty growlers in the car, just in case.) The owners also mentioned they're moving to a bigger location closer to the reservoir, hopefully in September. You'd better believe I'll be back for round two at the new spot. If you want the best all-around brewery in Pueblo --Beer Food Vibes , this is it. Drop in, order a pint, and tell 'em Flip sent ya!

We have been twice since they move and I don't know, the space is dreary, dark and very spread out (over three rooms). They haven't moved all their taps over so their beer menu is limited, but that is fine except they expect you to go to the bar to see the beer menu - there isn't a paper list or QR code at the table - which I find annoying. Also, If I want to pick up my beer and walk a few steps to play skee-ball this seems to throw the wait staff off. So I guess they expect us to eat, pay and THEN play - whatever - just run a card and let me roam! Oh and bring dollars and change because they don't have a change machine (and the games have not been converted for credit cards) and the one time we saw a couple ask the waitress to make change her attitude told me not to ever do that again. Yikes. Food is super basic. We ordered pretzels and they were literally super pretzels you can get at the supermarket that were barely nuked to make them sort of warm (for almost $9). We stopped going to eat here a few years back when they served me a gray hot dog - so the food is not for me. Beer is very fruity and some are good. They do have a wide variety of domestics and imports. I really wanted to love this place and I am guessing many will, but for me it is dark, food is basic and the new games are nice, but I wish they were easier to get change and just wander and play.
