    Shepherd's Pie & Bread Bowl

Great Irish pub in downtown Colorado Springs. Food hit just the spot after a long night of drinking the night before. Really enjoyed all the food we to here but especially loved the poutine and shepherds pie. Service was pretty decent for a bar.

It was our first time here, and I can say I was not disappointed. I truly love the motherland and travel there a lot. When I first walked into this pub. I kind of felt like I was back in Galway. I had a nice homie feel to it and I love that so much. Our waiter was Ethan and he was amazing. He didn't bother us. He didn't ask questions right when I put food in my mouth he was attentive and quick. I asked for the food it is as close to the motherland as you're going to get here in Colorado. I have the shepherds pie and a bread bowl and it was pretty good. A lot of flavor. A lot of texture is something I would definitely order again. My husband had the Atlantic cod fish and chips. A little heavy on the breading, but overall good. We also had some soda bread with butter chefs kiss. My husband and I will definitely be back, especially since I have a year until I'm back in the motherland.

After nearly six years of living in the Springs and always telling myself I had to check out Jack Quinn's, an unexpected change in Easter plans finally gave me the perfect excuse. My son suggested we go--and I'm so glad we did! I booked a reservation for three on Easter Sunday at 3:15 pm, seated in the downstairs front. I had no idea what that meant at the time, having never been, but it worked out perfectly. The reservation system was super easy to use, and parking was a breeze--we parked about a block away and enjoyed the downtown murals on our walk to dinner. The moment you walk in, you're instantly transported to an Irish pub straight out of Dublin. There was a cozy hum of activity, great music playing through the speakers, and we were greeted promptly. We arrived a little early, but the hostess confirmed our reservation and let us know we'd be in one of the front booths--somehow I'd booked an amazing spot without even knowing it. Once seated, we took in the space. The booth had three surrounding walls, making it feel private and relaxed. The stained glass, rustic wood benches, and warm lighting created one of the coziest dining atmospheres I've experienced. It felt like a place designed for lingering--not just eating. Our server arrived quickly and got us started with drinks and appetizers. We decided to try two appetizers: the Wimberger's Pretzels with Guinness beer cheese and house mustard--both dipping sauces were absolute hits. Then came the Chips & Dip. I'll be honest, I wasn't excited at first. I've never had a good potato wedge... until now. These were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside--none of that solid, starchy chunkiness. I especially loved them with the curry dip, another item I wasn't sure about but now can't stop raving over. Total flavor bomb! Entrees arrived at just the right moment--right as we were wrapping up the appetizers. I had the two-piece fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. The cod was beautifully cooked--glistening white, moist, and flavorful. The batter was crisp without being too crunchy, and the chips (yes, the same ones I had originally doubted) were just as amazing the second time around. My son ordered the Pub Mac with bacon and polished off the entire bowl--thankfully I got a bite in early. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly cheesy. My mom chose the lamb stew and couldn't stop talking about how tender and flavorful it was. I sampled the soda bread, which had that dense, traditional texture but packed so much flavor. And the honey butter--another thing I'm not usually a fan of--was absolutely delightful. I'd absolutely order it again. Every single one of us left impressed--not just with the food, but with the service, the vibe, and even the price. In a time when finding quality and affordability in the same place feels rare, Jack Quinn's nailed it. So, with a little shake-up to our usual Easter plans, we ended up creating a new tradition. Thank you to Jack Quinn's for a delicious meal, a charming atmosphere, and a staff that we haven't stopped talking about. We'll definitely be back--maybe even next Easter!

The food was mediocre, not great and honestly we would not go back. We were excited by the "Irish Pub" concept since we will be traveling to Ireland. The beer cheese soup was grainy, thick and lukewarm. The Rootbeer in a bottle was warm. Now the Ruben bites were the best thing. Our waiter was nice. Long benches to sit at but tiny tables so with a group of 4 there's not a lot of space to eat at.

Amazing service!! Made sure you try to big pretzel and beer cheese so good!! The atmosphere in friendly staff makes sure you go upstairs to the upstairs bar and check out Jack's attic, which is really cool!! Honestly not a big fan of Colorado Springs. I would come back just to come back here!! The bartender Eddie amazing and so cool!

We have always been a fan of Irish pubs and Jack Quinn does not disappoint. We went tonight so that we could hear Naria the Fiddler as the live entertainment. We chose to have some appetizers and drinks and everything was delicious. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, although service can be a little slow when it is very busy. Tonight my husband had a Heffen... draft beer and I had a concoction called a blackberry mule. we shared the Irish nachos as well as the crispy brussels sprouts with bacon. Everything was excellent! And there Rose Mary ishouse made, I believe, and very, very yummy.

One of the best Irish Food experiences I have ever had. The restaurant was kind of typical decor, but not necessarily spectacular. Im not necessarily returning for the ambiance, but the food absolutely. I walked in to find a full restaurant, but a couple open seats at the bar. I grabbed one of the stools and asked for the best food options. The bar tender said "Everything is good" to which the couple sitting next to me echoed eager agreement. They ultimately lead me to the Reuben Fritters as an appetizer, I added a bowl of the Guinness Stout Cheese Soup, and ended with a main course of Guinness Beef Boxty. There wasn't a single bad item eaten, and the prices were all pretty reasonable! I would absolutely return again!

The menu is what you would expect from an Irish pub. The food was I guess pub food I was expecting it to be a bit more elevated. The fish and chips were greasy. I didn't eat the chips because they were dry and not very flavorful. the drinks on the other hand were fantastic, I had Irish coffee which hit the spot perfectly in the cold weather. The waiter was amazing. The staff was super friendly and nice. The vibes were exactly what you would expect. They really just need to work on the quality of their food.

Is this business kid friendly? We are planning to come next June for vow renewals and we will be having 6 people joining us three of them being children 7 to 11 years old.

It is a pub, so restaurant and bar. I would say it's fine for kids as long it's for lunch or an early dinner. Especially for lunch. It doesn't turn into more of a bar scene until later into the evening.

While we sat in the cocktail parlor, we also enjoyed the food from the neighboring Folklore Irish Pub. From the food to the drinks, these people know what they are doing. Drinks were nice and strong and the food was excellent. The cocktail parlor is very moody, dim lights, lighted bar menu (literally has lights inside, so cool), cozy seating and great music. Staff was very kind and welcome. They also have great recommendations. Upon entry we were greeted and seated quickly. We were also offered a welcome shot. Like what?!? That's amazing. I wish I remembered what all was it in but I know it included a brown sugar roasted carrot and vodka. There were a few more ingredients, which all blended together so well. Love that they have actual mocktail options. The Green Apple mocktail was excellent. It tasted like liquid green apple in all of the best ways. I love that when I asked the waiter about Mocktails, the bartender (that was behind the bar) shouted "do you like apple" lol I love when restaurants are intentional about making well made mocktail (not just juice with a garnish). Admittedly I took horrible photos but trust all of the food and drinks were delicious lol SEA SALT BAKED PRETZEL BITES - 5/5 pretzels have the perfect texture and just the right amount of salt. That honey mustard and cheese are amazing! THE BOY WHO WANTED MORE CHEESE - 5/5 The jammy onions really make this. Bread is perfectly toasted. It is the ultimate patty melt. The most delicious and perfectly crispy tater tots. THE OLD HEN - 5/5. I was so overwhelmed from my first bite. Legit the most delicious sandwich I've ever had. All of the elements paired so well together. The tomato jam, blue cheese Schmear were just excellent. Also, those potato wedges were chefs kiss. They had to be tossed in some kind of special oil and tossed with something just as tasty. Just get them. I don't know what else to say, just get it. Fish and chips - 4/5 huge serving. Served with a grilled lemon (a must) and homemade tartar sauce. Batter was flakey and beautifully seasoned. Posting this review in both places because I need everyone to see this lol Needless to say I will be back. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs!

I had a long week at work and am not looking my best, but when I walked in, I was greeted immediately and sat. I often dine after work alone as it is easier than the rigamarole of coordinating a Friday meet up. Little did I know, the Mexican fusion restaurant next door provides the food, so kill 2 birds with one stone. I was given food recommendations and I went with the mole wings and esquites. Both were substantial in portions and flavorful. A little messy, but yum! For drinks, I chose the Army/Navy drink which consisted of gin with a nutty flair (pictured). My second drink was a NY Sour - whiskey sour with a red wine foam foam on top. Both were creative, but I def preferred the former. Lastly, the service was great. I was taken care of without being ignored or smothered as I was able to relax and eaves drop on all the other conversations happening. I highly recommend trying this place out!
