Crack panko fried chicken with slaw

In Colorado Springs and wanted a hip, cool vibe dining spot. 503W has a great menu, a little edgy and positive reviews. We arrived at a dark, clean Asian fusion restaurant in a small space. The place was busy for a Thursday night. The menu was different with appetizers, greens, fork and knife, hand held, and bowl selections. There were several good looking choices. We started with a scrumptious Just Give Me A Beet salad with pickled red onions, beets, crushed pistachios, goat cheese, arugula and mixed greens with a wasabi soy vinegarette. The dressing and salad was incredible. A definite home run! We added the nitro braised short ribs with BBQ Hoisin, ginger snap peas, sesame slaw, carrots, green onions and orange zest. Another good selection but the slaw was dry and needed a dressing. Our final selection was the Gangnum Crack panko fried chicken with a sweet soy glaze, rice, sesame slaw, Korean spicy pickles, carrots, green onions and Sriracha aioli. The chicken had a nice little bite, but again the slaw was dry. Overall, a nice find with different combinations and flavor profiles. The wasabi vinegarette was absolutely incredible. If you are an adventourous eaters, give 503W a try. It was a great surprise with big, bold tastes.

We went for lunch and really enjoyed it. The large, unusual and very interesting menu made it hard to pick just one item (we were sharing) ! The Pork Belly Cubano sandwich was delicious and certainly different than any other Cuban Sandwich we had ever had. It was served on a long roll with Ginger Glazed Pork Belly + Chorizo + Swiss + Korean 3-Spice Pickles + Gojuchang Mustard. It came with crispy Shoestring Fries. Because of its size, we were glad we shared it. Definitely a place to check out.

On our way from Denver to Colorado Springs, found this via quick Yelp Search for a quick lunch stop. We wee expecting a v good meal having read some good reviews and pictures looked great. But it wasn't to be. None of the food items hit the mark for us. Nachos had chicken which tasted dry , Korean chicken was too sweet/pungent, Tacos were not that good. The worst part of lunch was that the Coke we ordered was all fizzed out- even the replacements were fizzed and syrupy. If a restaurant with a full bar can't figure out a way to serve a simple soda then its a big red flag for me. Service was ok. Maybe they were having an off day but this was a meal to forget for us.

503W was a vibe. Such a fun and great place. The drinks we ordered were delicious! Our food had some pros and cons. The cubano was very very good; however, the steamed bun sliders were a little flavorless and the bun was a little harder than what I'm used to. The chicken in the salad we got was delicious but the salad itself tasted like chemical. Service was great, our waitress was on it the whole time we were there.

I frequent 503W once every few months, and it's been delicious everytime. Both dinner and brunch have been great! This most recent visit, I had the nitro short ribs for dinner - great flavor, moist, and soft. It came served on a bed of sesame slaw and other veggies (there was plenty of food if you don't want to add the rice). The Cookies & Cream dessert hit the spot (pistachio panna cotta with vanilla tuile). I have to admit that I didn't thoroughly read the menu description when I saw Cookies & Cream and was surprised at the pistachio panna cotta (I thought it was going to be an Oreo panna cotta). I still very much enjoyed the dessert since I also love pistachios. Just a little funny moment. Service was great tonight with Chelsea A! Hopefully, I can get a brunch visit in soon!

We are always greeted and seated by friendly, helpful staff in the almost industrial style restaurant area. The seats are metal and not super comfortable, but the food is too good to worry about the seating. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame to start. My husband had the beet salad, which has changed while I had the green chili burger as a salad instead of open faced on a bun. It was outstanding.

Can't complain, can't rave about. A pretty typical American fusion spot. They've got the meats, they've got the veggies, they've got the drinks and the vibe. Nothing more, nothing less.

Weekend brunch at 503W is a must! Their chicken and waffles are hands-down one of my new favorites the chicken is tender and juicy with a subtle sriracha kick (not too spicy). My friend got the "Lucky Belly" hash, and wow, it was packed with flavor! The sweet potato tots, pork belly, and sriracha aioli were amazing, and the sourdough bread on the side was perfect. We ended with dessert--a fluffy donut topped with ice cream and a creamy sauce (wish I remembered the name). It was the cherry on top of an already great meal. Definitely worth checking out!

Good food. Enjoyed a Sapporo and Little Seoul Bowl with beef bulgogi. Service was on top of it and nice vibe for a drink and dinner with friends.

Everything tasted really fresh and the portions here were very large which justified the price. Large selection of drinks and cocktails. Parking was a little tough but we eventually found a spot. Our waiter was great and friendly. Great place to dine if you're a fan of Korean-American cuisine.

FOOD: I had an Angus Ribeye, which was tasty and done to precisely the color I wanted, but really needed to be trimmed of fat and gristle better. My wife had the chopped salad the whiskey sticky ribs from the apps menu, and liked both of them a lot. Servings were generous. The drink end is where things shine. Their Sazerac was excellent. The "Espresso" Ol' Fashion was quite good. The signature White Rabbit Martini (complete with flaming marshmallow) was kind of gimmicky, but quite drinkable. SERVICE: Our waitstaffer was friendly, helpful, and showed up as often as we expected. The place draws a lot of patrons, even on weekdays, so reservations are highly recommended. We managed to get seated as walk-ins, but it was a bit iffy and it was at 4:30pm on a Tuesday. They are also strict on how long parties of a given size are allowed to hog a table. That makes sense for the number of diners, but still felt a bit off-putting (though the duration given for a party of 2, 90 minutes, was comfortable). AMBIANCE: That's why you're here of course, and from the sidewalk stairs leading down to the plethora of Alice-in-Wonderland artwork on the black walls, the atmosphere is thick and delightful. VALUE: Premium prices, though servings are generous and the quality is good. NET-NET: Definitely a worthwhile experience. I wouldn't mind going there again on a future visit to the Springs.
