Today my mom & I wanted something delicious and healthier/lighter so we're open to trying this place. You can park in a pay lot next to the Hotel It's at the floor level of or you can park on the street and pay metered parking. We chose metered. I dislike the scan & pay lots. You walk in & you should review the menu prior & pay up front, and then your menu selections will be delivered to your table. It's a beautiful set up, it reminds me of a greenhouse there's large wooden tables, & smaller black tables in a glass encased area with several hanging plants. There are also many table/booth combinations inside. We ordered: Hobo sandwich with seasoned cubed potatoes Slice of quiche Side of season potatoes Beet salad (added grilled chicken) An iced tea Spicy chai Total was close to $80 average for brunch definitely not terrible once you see the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. Tasting it all was amazing - flavorful, thoughtfully prepared & great attention to detail including sourcing great ingredients and using the correct spices! Our last two visits here have been disappointing. I thought last time may have been an isolated incident or new cook, so we tried it again today. Another let down. This has been put on our no list now. When we ordered today, my son asked about Caesar salad and the woman at the counter did not say that they didn't have them. Then when they brought the food out, she said it's not an option. Why not say it when we ordered. Last time my bowl was missing the goat cheese, and I had to ask for it. I also added chicken and mushrooms to my bowl and I literally received about 5-6 mushrooms, which equals more than a dollar a mushroom. This time, my side salad was supposed to have balsamic and had another dressing. My son had the burger and said that the consistency was weird. My other son had the same sandwich he always has and the bread was different, though the menu didn't indicate that it was. read more

I've been here about 3 times in the last 2 weeks and each time it's a different food experience. My first time here I felt like was the best experience and then it varied from there. I think it all depends on what you choose on the menu. On my first visit, I had the usual which is eggs, potato, bacon with a side of bread with jam and that was my favorite breakfast. The eggs were cooked as I specified, soft scramble and the bacon was crispy, but not burnt. The potatoes were well seasoned, and the toast and jam were out of this world delicious! On my second visit, I ordered the pancakes with eggs and bacon, and the pancakes were the only thing that tasted great. On my third visit, I ordered the breakfast street tacos with a side of berries and that was my least favorite. Unfortunately, the tacos tasted okay and I wasn't a fan of the burnt cheese on there or the salsa. An un unfortunately, the side of berries for $3 were not fresh at all. Even though the last few food experiences weren't that great I think that Homa still has at least one good breakfast on the menu that that's worth coming back for. Out of all the breakfast places, I've tried in COS, I must say that for now Homa is the best! I plan on coming back to try their lunch items and so looking forward to it. As for the service, it's quick and efficient and the ambience is just what you'd expect when you stay at a boutique hotel. Nothing fancy just practical and easy. We were on the hunt for homemade breakfast on a wet and rainy Sunday morning but in need of something new. We came across Homa and boy did they deliver. Tucked inside of a boutique hotel you would have no idea the food coming out of the kitchen was top notch. Street parking may be limited but I'm pretty sure they have a private lot on the side of the building. Once inside, you are immediately greeted by the counter where you'll order, pay, take a number and find a cozy seat either inside, outside or in the covered green room type area. The food, although a bit pricey, was worth every penny. Offering breakfast and lunch items and even something for the kiddos like chicken tendies, they're sure to appease most crowds. The pancakes were out of bounds. Fluffy, buttery and cooked perfectly and massive in size accompanied by eggs and bacon resulting in a well rounded all American breakfast. Their meat pie, very much like an empanada, was flaky on the outside and packed with flavorful meat inside and a garlic style sauce on the side for dipping. It doesn't come with a side so they're thin and crispy French fries were the perfect combination. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to offering menu items suggestions. And the space downstairs was cozy and warm. Somewhere I could see myself bringing my computer to get some work done. Overall, great find just outside of downtown. read more

Cozy plant-filled café with great cocktails and good food The café shares space with the hotel lobby and has a warm, relaxed vibe with lots of seating options--great for hanging out or working with a coffee. Their cocktails were great. I always ask staff for food recs, but the entree menu had just launched, so they didn't have much feedback yet. I tried the Butternut Squash Pappardelle--a great concept, but it was too salty for me. The next day, I had the Cutting Board, which was generous and high-quality (cheeses, meats, spreads, pickles). It would've been perfect with a touch of fresh fruit or veggies for balance. Espresso drinks were fine, but note: their standard is one shot in a 12 oz cup, and the barista seemed unfamiliar with some basic coffee lingo. If you're particular about coffee, I'd recommend Loyal Coffee across the street--for specially crafted espresso drinks. As a hotel guest, I wished that they had more grab and go options for breakfast or for lunch on the trail. Still, Homa is a solid on-site option with great atmosphere and good drinks. Would definitely stop by again, even if I weren't staying at the hotel. read more

The back room that looks like a greenhouse was actually only a smoke room, and I think this was the most disappointing as I imagined to have brunch there instead of booths where hotel guests would chill before leaving after checking out (suitcases and all). In town for work and wanted to carry out lunch. My coworkers found this spot only ten minutes from the Broadmoor. Turns out it's actually in the lobby of a hotel! Menu online sounded great and ordering over the phone was easy. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because I had asked that the bowl was all salad and not quinoa. She confirmed on the phone it would be and then when we got to the hotel it was only quinoa and no lettuce. The cauliflower popcorn is a must. So delicious and loved the sauce. One coworker got a chicken handpie and said the sauce is what made it. I had the pork sandwich and it was delicious and a large portion size. Also enjoyed the cold brew latte! The space itself is inviting, cozy, minimal, and gives egalitarian urban vibes! I extra appreciated all of the greenery and plants throughout. Very cute and modern! This is the restaurant in the lobby of Kinship Landing. It's minimalist, wooden and has wonderful plants, sunlight and gives off a happy vibe. They have a limited menu of salads, sandwiches, soups, pies and burgers. Drinks include coffee, some alcoholic choices and of course, kombucha. I got the St. Ives handmade pie and a side of Cauli-pops while my friend got the pulled pork sandwich with shoestring fries. The pie was delicious. I am not the biggest fan of venison but man, was it super tasty and the onion and potatoes worked perfectly with the venison juices. The pie crust wasn't too thick or thin, so you can bite into it like a bar. It's probably not enough as a meal by itself. The Cauli-pops were a great side. Deliciously roasted in a slew of spices with a nice spicy/tangy mayo dip, they were hard to stop eating! I managed to finish quite a bit of that portion but took the rest home and it was delicious even a few hours later. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. Filled with pulled pork and caramelized onions, it was very filling. Did I like it more than the St. Ives? No, because it could've done with more seasoning. The shoestring fries were good. Kombucha was delicious and a perfect accompaniment. All in all, a great find and actually would be really nice to come and stay at the hotel too! 4 stars because they have a limited menu. read more

Yum! We were staying at Kinship so this was an easy dinner one night for us close to home. Great menu with hearty things and a big selection. Love the tea and coffee options for those who aren't heavy drinkers. Gal up front was super friendly when taking our order and they had a binder with every ingredient for my friend who has a soy allergy. We had the Mt. Rokko, Cauli Poppers, fries, side salad and a hand pie abs loved everything. Was seriously eyeing the dessert ice cream cookie sandwich or sundae but decided to be good. It was hard tho! Wow, never have I came to a place so many times on one trip. I ordered the med fresh (half greens+grains) bowl many times with chicken, with the exclusion of farro, sprouted lentils, olives, and chickpeas (just not a fan of any of those ingredients). And the vinaigrette had so good, with a mustard tang to it. I can't rave enough about the quality of ingredients and the freshness and flavor combination of the bowl, whether eating there or picking up the meal. *The only thing I wished differently is the consistency of how much each ingredient goes in each time and and wish there were more addition of roasted veggies. But still so good. The place is beautiful in itself with plenty of parking out in front any time of the day and love that it's so spacious with various kinds of rest -- booth seating, the half nest chairs in the back near the restroom, couches, and bar seating. I came here many four days in a row and the place just gave me the rest I needed each day. I highly recommend! The menu is a bit small (particularly their coffee selection) so would definitely check for the updated menu online as it changes. I had the oat milk draft latte and one of the St. Ives Hand Pie and both were good. The barista suggested getting the pie with aioli and definitely a must have. Great service as the barista gave us refills on our to go drinks. One con is the parking be sure to park either on the street or in the back parking lot as the business next door tows cars of people going to the hotel. I visited Homa yesterday for the first time- my husband had his team Christmas lunch here. What a cool looking place! The menu is unique and at first I thought it might be too hip (cool? I think hip isn't even a word that used anymore...( for me but I really liked everything I got. We had to use the QR code on the table to get the menu, and then had to go order our lunch and then later our desserts from the bar area. I'm not sure if that's just for COVID precautions or if it's how it always is. There were a lot of people working here, drinking coffee, etc. We were at a higher table with surprisingly comfortable little chairs. There is a water station where you can get your own still or sparkling water. I enjoyed the sparkling water option. We had to try the coffee lemonade which wasn't described on the menu and we were so curious about it- several of us really loved it! We got a pickled veggie jar appetizer that people enjoyed sharing too. My Rambler Toast breakfast (which is their take on French toast with their homemade Japanese milk bread with cream and berries) was very yummy. The bacon I added as a side was also perfectly cooked and delicious. A couple of people got bowls that they really enjoyed, and one person got the burger which they thought was delicious, and two people got the Amiko which they raved about! The fries looked super yummy too. Several people got drinks and thought they were very good. We also got dessert. There was no way I wasn't going to try the Bubbly Fruit- it's carbonated fruit that comes in what looks like one of those homemade whipped cream dispensers- the server lets out some carbonation and then dumps out a bunch of mixed fruit into a bowl that has fresh whipped cream (it was flavored with lavender). It was super unique and super tasty- you should totally try it! The Scrapple cookie ice cream sandwiches were a huge hit too. We were a party of 16 and they had a large table for us that we reserved the night before-this is the only thing that they did well. We were charged 22% gratuity to start with. I usually tip at least 20%, but that is with service-we had to go up to the front and order as well as get your own water, so immediately I was disappointed. Next, the first and second group to order were told that they were out of pancakes. The next 3 groups ordered and received pancakes-MIRACULOUS! The nitro cold brew was not good. My husband and I received burnt potatoes whilst another 2 people in our group received great looking potatoes. The focaccia was dry and old. The drinks were outrageously priced. I think that about wraps up my experience here. I will not be back-ever. It's really too bad because the space has a really chill vibe. read more

Oh my goodness, this place has some of the best atmosphere I've been to in ages - coming right after Christmas probably helped, since that tree really ties together what looks like an indoor/outdoor seating area (will have to return when it's warmer to see if those garage door walls are open, glad I have an excuse ;)). We had excellent service from the lady taking our order, just a little bummed they were out of the acai bowls, but they went out of their way to find out what the seasonal kombucha they had on tap was for us, and gave us free samples. When we got our food, I was absolutely enraptured by how exceptionally delectable it smelled - it actually delayed my time in trying it just because it smelled so good. My husband's dish had some thick, crispy bacon I got to enjoy a piece of, as well as one of the potatoes. My dish was such a great combination of sweet potatoes, arugula, and egg that it really felt like a healthy, flavorful, filling breakfast (I ate half of it). The standout on the toast dish was the Whipped cream on the side - all I wanted was to slather my toast in that. I'm so excited to try the different dishes this place offers and can't wait to come back, plus the hotel rooms look really cute. Myself and my family went to Homa for Father's Day brunch. Based on the pictures online, Homa looked like the perfect place for us. However, immediately after walking inside I was met with a very different reality. First, instead of eating in the nice room that is pictured on the internet, we were seated near the entrance area in a because the main room was closed for an event. Then, we were told we would not have waitress service but would instead have to get all of our own waters, place settings and to make things worse, we would also have to bus our own table. Then, because we had to order at the counter, we all had to pick up our own food and eat in shifts as the food came out in 3 different waves. And the cherry on top of all of this is that I was charged 22% gratuity as a result of the party size (in addition to being overcharged for the bloody Mary's)! While the food was good, this experience ruined my Father's Day morning. I searched for the perfect brunch spot for my family (who came from all over) and instead was met with terrible service at an inflated cost. Very disappointed. read more

Been in the Springs for 2+ years and discovered this gem of a hotel cafe and it's hands down my favorite cafe and place to hang out in town! I typically get the Oat Milk Draft Latte which is creamy, sweet (though not overly) and just wonderful. As for food I absolutely love their hand pies! Beautifully flaky pastry with delectable fillings. I particularly like the St. Ives (short rib) and Momo (lemongrass chicken). I've heard lots of good things about their bowls too specifically their fried cauliflower but I keep sticking to my hand pies . Their shoestring fries are also amazingly crispy and perfectly salted and for $5 you get a heaping portion enough for 2. The sambal aioli is also decent. Not that spicy but it has a good sweetness and savoriness to it. Service is always good and the ambiance is nice. They ran out of hamburger buns so they gave me buttered Japanese milk bread, which was just as good. The burger patty was cooked to perfection and juicy. I don't know what they put in the shoestring fries, but they were the best I've had. In the morning, I tried their hand held pie, Rise and Shine, which had scrambled egg, bacon, muenster cheese, and peppers. The crust was flaky and the pie as a whole was delicious.
