Last time it was Evan, this time it was Damon, Evan, and more. The whole staff is just top quality. Between the beer and the staff, WeldWerks is just unbelievable, a whole cut above the typical Colorado brewery, which is saying more beyond what you could ever imagine. We are already the state of craft beer, but WeldWerks brings it to world class. I live in Aurora, and I am glad to make the trip of while over an hour to get up there just to enjoy the latest menu of out of this world beer. If you have not experienced WeldWerks, you have not experienced what beer truly has to offer.

Stopped in over the weekend with our dog and loved it. Located on the Arkansas Riverwalk, it's perfect for people-watching if you can snag an outdoor seat. Housed in the old police station, they kept some jail-era decor on display -- very cool touch. Solid beer selection (their Leadhead IPA was excellent). Food is outstanding -- highly recommend their Sunday brunch (10-2). The Musso Bruch Burger came highly recommended and didn't disappoint: double smash patties pressed thin, cheddar, local chiles, and a fried egg -- super messy but totally worth it. The green chili had the perfect spice level. Friendly service and a great new brunch spot in Pueblo -- we'll be back.

House Margarita

I have DREAMS about the Alehouse Burger and their house Margaritas. I crave it daily and wish I could eat here everyday. Best burgers in town. I love Brues Alehouse. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and makes you feel so relaxed. Sadly it's too expensive for me to buy everyday, but, if you see me here everyday in 30 years, you know I made it. Thank Brues for changing my life P.S. if I ever went to prison, this would be my death row meal

Vineyard Odyssey Salad

Excellent pit stop in Pueblo before driving home! Service was wonderful and the Vineyard Odyssey Salad I ordered had the perfect ratio of ingredients to dressing. With mixed greens, red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, blue cheese, strawberries, heirloom cherry tomatoes, candied pecans, berry vinaigrette, and balsamic reduction - how could you not enjoy? I didn't add protein to my salad this time, but chicken sounds like it could go well. It was my second time in Pueblo (first time was on the drive down) and I enjoyed both quick visits. Brues is located along the riverwalk, so you can go for a stroll if it's not too cold. We were here in the winter and rushed back to our car, but I would definitely come back again.

Popped in for a quick lunch while on a road trip. They are located in a historic building that used to be the jail. It is right on the river walk with plenty of outdoor seating to take advantage of the lovely Colorado weather. The holiday decorations were really nice. Someone had taken the time to wrap twinkle lights around the air ducts and beams throughout the restaurant. It was a lovely sight. Our server answered all our questions and we put in our beverage orders. I love a good dark beer and their Kellerbier really hit it. My husband had the Haus Lager, a helles. We both enjoyed our beers. They were spot on to style. I ordered the Brawtzel. It consisted of a veal brat with a garnish of sauerkraut, Vienna mustard, a pretzel and pueblo chile cheese sauce. Everything was tasty and paired well with my beer. My husband was going to get a BLT, but upon asking, found the bread for that sandwich is not toasted. It was a cold day and he wanted something warm so he got a grilled cheese and chips, which hit the spot for him. It was a chilly, windy day. I would like to visit again when I can sit outside and enjoy the river.

Philly special. SOOOOO. GOOD!!!!!

Where does one go after an early morning of work and then a long day of travel??? An alehouse of course, even though I don't drink. This place once was a jail, and they pay respect to the past with some of the decor. They have a stage for live music and fantastic service. Jenny was my waitress, and even with how busy she was, I was her third table in 5 minutes since I didn't want to sit at the bar. This place has burgers, sandwiches, and salads to choose from. I was all set to be a good boy and have a salad until Jenny told me the night specials......So, I had stuffed dates wrapped in pork shoulder for an appetizer. Then I had the toungetwister Philly, not the real name, but it sounded like a toungetwister. All I can say about tonight's dinner is....WOW!!!! It was so good that I was a little sad when it was gone. If you do enjoy a pint, this place is a local brewery, and the other patrons appeared to be enjoying the drafts. I was a little sad they didn't offer a microbrewed root beer, but everything else made up for that. #thanksunclejoe

Hawaiian pollo sandwich

Will definitely come back! We walked our dog along the river walk and stopped here to have lunch on the patio. Perfect spot for us since it's dog friendly. We ordered the Hawaiian pollo and split it. Plenty of food for two of us and it was delicious. The fries were the right amount of salty and crunchy too! They also have a bakery inside so we picked up a cinnamon roll to go. The rolls are giant!

Good, would definitely put the hollandaise on the side next time! Our server was very attentive and kind. Perfect for outdoor dining.

Went here for Sunday Brunch shortly after I moved to Pueblo. Service is delightful, food is delicious and the bakery items look scrumptious!

Meet the slopper.

Meet the slopper. It is full of flavor, crispy fries, fresh vegetable and green chili for spice. It was sofa king delicious. I ordered the single and that was more than enough for me. I went into a food coma after the meal. The slopper is a local dish and I highly recommend it.

Pueblo, CO - The Secret Gem Revealed…read more Hands down, the hidden treasure of Pueblo sits quietly on the west side of town -- Reservoir Brewing. I strolled in after a long day of convention chatter downtown, feeling like a city-slicker cowboy wandering into an old ghost town. I pulled up a seat at the bar, surrounded by locals swapping stories and laughs. Behind the bar was the owner himself, ready to give me the lowdown on the beers. He suggested their Revolution beer but warned me it didn't come out quite like usual. so they added mango. Being the adventurous type, I said, "Why not?" First sip... home run! Easily my favorite of the night. One beer turned into a few, and before I knew it, I was closing the place down, talking with locals and the owner like we'd known each other for years. It was so good I came back the very next day to finish the beer list and check out the food. And let me tell you; Lord have mercy..... the food matched the beer in greatness. Perfect beer food. I started with the spicy habanero cheese curds (fiery but addictive) and then went in for the kill: The Rachel Fully Loaded with turkey, pastrami, and bacon on marbled rye, with chips on the side. That sandwich didn't stand a chance. Every crumb vanished. Naturally, I enjoyed a flight and stocked up with a couple of growlers to go. (Flip Flamingo Rule #1: Always keep empty growlers in the car, just in case.) The owners also mentioned they're moving to a bigger location closer to the reservoir, hopefully in September. You'd better believe I'll be back for round two at the new spot. If you want the best all-around brewery in Pueblo --Beer Food Vibes , this is it. Drop in, order a pint, and tell 'em Flip sent ya!

I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

I'm just a tough on ratings. I had a couple beers, wife iced tea. For my wife the main menu didn't have anything she wanted... they let her get a grilled cheese off the kids menu. They had a Reuben on the menu, but I wasn't in the mood for the sauerkraut and the 1000 island dressing. They had no problem making it basically a corn beef and Swiss sandwich. All the food was good. The service is great. The people are friendly definitely recommended. Next time we're in trouble we'll probably go there again, and you should too.

There was only one woman taking orders and serving the seating area but she was FAST and constantly on the go. I felt bad for her, but she kept up without blinking...all with a very, very wide smile. This last time there was a bartender and two servers on a Saturday evening (Homecoming night). A guy playing music next to the door and a lady doing some type of fundraiser. There was little motivation to help people as they walked in, tables were left dirty, there didn't seem to be any organization to how they seated or took tables. Just told people it was a 30 min wait and to have a seat and would be taken care of. Then when our food finally came (2 hours after getting there), the hamburgers were very thin (not 1/3 lb), over cooked (not pink as requested...burnt), bun burnt, not all the toppings were included and drinks came out after the meal. I almost wanted to tell people to just leave, that it wasn't worth it. I felt bad for the people that had reservations. They were ignored for 30+ minutes as the staff told others they were slammed. On a positive note, my martini was good.
