Pretty disappointed overall. The food was all right. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. The chicken Parmesan was well prepared and had really nice flavor. The wings were crispy and had a good amount of sauce on them. We did not care for the seasoning on the fried pickles but the Thai sauce was excellent. The service was pretty bad. It was not busy. They did not appear to be short staffed but they may have been. We were seated and our drink order was taken very quickly. Water came out fast. It took 20minutes for the Mai Thai. Our fried pickles took almost 40minutes. When they did come out they were luke warm, meaning they sat for a minute. They had no pepperoni left? The tavern thin crust pizza had a nice crunch. My wife ordered the Caprese chicken sandwich, she can't have dairy. She repeated and it was confirmed. Our food came out an hour after we sat down and they brought a crispy chicken sandwich out, not the caprese. No apology. The manager was nice and comped a good portion of our meal which is appreciated. Everyone has an off night and I'm sure it's not always like this. Ok so this place is underrated. Their stuff is really good!! They have patio seating open so even on a Friday afternoon, we had a 20 min wait before we could sit. We got the fried pickles to start out with, my fries got the Crafted Beer Burger while I got the Thai Pie pizza with the ale crust. For beers, she got an amazingly smooth Dry Dock Apricot and I got the Samuel Adams Spiced beer. The pickles were delicious! Wish they'd been spicier. They tasted a lot like fries zucchini than pickles. The dip that came with was delicious! The burger was definitely interesting. The caramelised onions on it were fantastic! While my friend loved it, I found it a tad dry. The pizza was another story though. It was YUMMY!! That ale crust and the cheese on it with the Asian style veggies and teriyaki sauce on top with the chicken was mouth-watering. It was delicious even cold when I had the leftovers later. While the apricot beer was definitely wonderful, the spices beer was not too spices, and I only ended up finishing half of it. All in all, great food menu and we will be back for more! read more

Went with a group from work the food was very disappointing. My buddy ordered a Caesar salad and got new croutons and a small half a chicken breast. It has been years since we've tried Old Chicago, so we figured we'd give them a shot. Did they miss they target completely. It appears that no quality check was done at all. That tells me that they're either short staffed or have bad managers or a combination of both. If 1 single employee that had pride in their work would have looked at our order, then I'm sure this review could have been 5 stars. We ordered the Italian Nachos, jalapeno pretzel bites and a Tuscan Chicken pizza with no spinach or lemon vinaigrette and added smoked bacon. It seems that the nachos we're either over cooked/burnt in an air fryer or in the pizza oven. All the toppings were placed in the center of the nachos and not evenly distributed over all the chips. This resulted in the majority of chips around the mound of toppings in the middle being burnt to a dark brown/black and a few soggy chips in the middle. The cheese was cooked/burnt to where it was more of a cheese crisp. Strike #1! The jalapeno pretzel bites were burnt to an "appetizing" dark brown/black and all the insides either evaporated or is probably in the trash or floating around in the fryer at Old Chicago. No taste other than that of a burnt pretzel. The mustard beer cheese sauce was good, albeit a little runny, but it is the only thing that allowed us to choke them down. Strike #2! The pizza was very good except for about just 4 very small pieces of bacon that we were charged extra, even after removing 2 items. Thus, I spoke to a manager(Dallas) and attempted to explain that we were really looking forward to trying Old Chicago again. He didn't seem to really care, so I proceeded to ask if there's any quality check on to go orders to which he had no response other than he'd refund it and then promptly hung up. Strike #3! We were considering going in to see if this is the quality that they present to their dine in customers, but after being hung up on, we'll take our business and hard earned money elsewhere. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE When i ate there the food was terrible to the point that the person with me almost threw up. After finding a HAIR in my food the staff was pretty understanding and nice but other than that the experience was horrible. Genuinely some of the worst food i've had in a long time and you're honestly better off eating fast food. Location hours posted are until 2 AM but they don't answer the phones and they lock the door at 1:15 It would not be a problem if they updated their hours open till 1:15, but the level of laziness and lack of communication is on a level similar to McDonald's. Well... It's definitely over priced. The flavor is typical with chain pizza. The pizza was extremely greasy. The crust on the children's pizza was doughy and extremely thin so it tells me the ovens aren't cooking evenly perhaps! Try a local owned restaurant and support local business. Y'all... this place is delicious. I'm trying hard to understand why the ratings are so low. Our service was super fast and the waiter gave great suggestions. We started with the roasted Italian garlic cauliflower... wow. Blown away. Delicious. Then we shared our own mac 'n cheese creation (white cheddar, bacon, crispy onions, garlic)... it was incredible! Decided to try Old Chicago by ordering lunch to-go. Placed the order through google and was super easy. Was able to customize pizza, pasta, salad to my liking and the food was ready within 25 minutes. Ordered the Mac n Cheese w/ Basil and Garlic Bread on the side, Chicken Walnut Salad, and customized pizza. The salad was super fresh and added avocado on top which was very yummy. The mac n cheese was also yummy, reheated it in the microwave, but was still tasty (great reheatability score!). I didn't try the pizza but my friend really like it. He ordered the personalized pizza which was definitely on the smaller size. I would say if you're hungry to get the larger one even if its just for 1 person. Overall, was impressed with the food especially enjoyed how fresh the salad tasted and that it had the perfect amount of toppings. We took our kids to eat to celebrate great achievements during their school year. Our youngest ordered a kids pepperoni pizza. When it arrived, we expressed concern to our server, Zeke, that the pizza was burnt. The pepperoni was so overcooked it was dried up and the crust was burnt as well. He took it back to the kitchen and told us it would be just a few minutes to make a new one. We were all almost finished with our meals when it arrived. We couldn't believe it....it was the same pizza we originally got with more pepperoni just thrown on top!! I was so angry. Once again we told Zeke, who returned it to the kitchen and we waited AGAIN. We were all finished by the time it arrived and had to take it home for her to eat. (She ate some of all our plates in the meantime) I should've asked Zeke to see the manager, I didn't. But it should also be said that I only caught a glimpse of her for a brief moment during our hour and a half debacle. We will never go there again. Colorado Springs has a better one. A coworker of mine love this place but not sure why. Came in for dinner with a party of four and they got us sat down reasonably on a busy Friday night. Our waitress took longer than normal to come by and honestly barely saw her that night. Our appetizer nachos were pretty good but our entrees were nothing to be impressed by. The service was horrible and our waitress would just disappear. At one point we stacked our drinks at the end of the table for her to notice. As a Pueblo native, I am always excited to see when new restaurants open here, and always hoping that they will last. I had never been to an Old Chicago before, but I was more than willing to try. My mother and I sat down for dinner at six o'clock on a Tuesday night. Despite there being many cars in the parking lot and rush hour for dinner, we were sat immediately. The restaurant is fairly clean and there are TV's all around, probably to help distract customers who have ordered food that take a while to cook, like their pizzas. My mom and I were not too hungry, so we shared a side salad and an individual sized Meat Me pizza with Chicago style (deep dish) crust. Prior to coming, I had read reviews about Old Chicago, and something I noticed was the uncleanliness of their silverware and dishes. True enough to the reviews, I opened up my silverware and my knife was stuck to the napkin, attached to an old, dirty lemon seed. I did not say anything as I wouldn't be using the knife to eat, but diners be wary: check your silverware before your eat. Since we had only ordered an individual sized pizza, it came out faster than the gentlemen who were already sitting and drinking beers before we sat down. It took about 20 minutes, but our side salad came out quite fast. Admittedly, the pizza was smaller than expected, but it was delicious nonetheless. It was a good thing neither of us were too hungry, otherwise we might have had to order something else. Our waitress was kind and attentive, bringing us the check at an appropriate time, etc. The restaurant itself was quite cold, we overheard many patrons around us asking if they could turn the temperature up and close the patio door. The volume of the music playing was also a little too loud, but I expect that's normal considering some people are just there to drink and watch sports on the TVs. Overall, I would go again to Old Chicago. The one thing that was a disappointment was the dirty silverware, but the food was good and it looks like a really fun place if you ever just want to stop in for drinks and watch the game as well! read more

We saw our waitress twice only so when all 5 of us ran out of drinks, we didn't get refills. I finally had to ask for our ticket and box because it took 20 minutes just to bring that. This is the second time I have encountered the bartender Heidi and the second time I have had a bad service with her. No banter, not even polite conversation with this one. I asked about a beer and her answer was she didn't know, she's never tried it. Not even thoughts on what others have said. No further conversation, not even worth trying. She opened the beer, asked if I wanted a glass and it's the last interaction I had with her. No check back ever. For the record, I was planning to order dinner and a couple more beers. I had to ask another employee just to get the check. Business was slow and I was sitting at the bar, so not sure what happened? Second time I've had almost the exact same experience with her. The host doesn't greet you when you walk in and when they bring you to your table they drop the menus off and walk away. The server was nice but she forgot to place our appetizer order so needless to say we never did get our appetizer. The food was good and felt that came out in a timely manner. There were dirty tables the entire time we were there and the host basically walked passed them a dozen times when she should've been cleaning them since it was 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon, it's dead, there's nothing else for her to do, she could've at least cleaned tables. read more
