I love Texas Roadhouse!! I loved this Texas Roadhouse. Today I do not love them anymore. The reason is the terrible way they managed Mother's Day. We use the wait-list regularly. I understand we're going to be waiting even AFTER we get there and check-in. Today was the first day I was repeatedly lied to by TR staff. They were telling literally EVERY customer. "You're next", and then left entire families standing on the front sidewalk for anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. And still longer. We left when after 45 minutes waiting my husband heard the hostess say to him and 3 other customers, "you're next". If your goal was to make a lot of money off of a lot of different families, I'm afraid you may have accomplished that goal and then lost customers for the rest of the year. Every single person waiting was so angry. Even the ones leaving. You should fire the manager and hire someone who fosters integrity and service. read more

This is the 3rd time I've tried out the Texas Roadhouse! I happen to get there at 3pm. Was pretty early but was glad I made that decision cause it got crowded real quick. Ordered a steak which was cooked perfect! Service was excellent. Server was friendly and very personable. Reasonable food prices considering cost of beef. I went with a party of 8 and were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter was very prompt with our drink orders and appetizers. Being a big group, we took a little longer to order entrees. We love the TRH!! The steaks melt in your mouth and the salads are amazing! I really enjoy the Snake Bites appetizer, which are bite sized cheese balls with jalapeño bits, breaded and fried to perfection. The Ranch dressing cools it down and is a great dipping sauce. We always get the filet cut or prime rib. The service is always on par and the staff is great. It can get loud when it's really busy, but the food makes up for it. LOL! read more

I took my aunt and my 5 year old here for lunch on a Saturday. We were promptly seated and ordered our food. A petite filet, a 12 oz serving of prime rib, both medium, and a child's mac and cheese. 35 minutes went by between the my aunt's very simple side salad arriving and the entrees. Our server never appeared to explain or apologize for the delay. When our food was finally delivered and placed at the edge of the table by someone we had never seen before, the mushrooms and onions topping the prime rib were cold. The food had obviously been plated and sat for long enough to cool off. But our server never checked back in with us to see if the food met our expectations until after we finished our meal. What happened between some stranger dropping off the food and the end of the meal was the most irritating part of all: I discovered that fully 1/2 of my 12 oz portion of prime rib was a giant wad of fat. The waitress, upon finally reappearing to drop off the check, defended this by telling me that I had ordered a rib-eye, and that rib-eye steaks always have a lot of fat. I did not order a rib-eye, nor was I served one. This chain touts its hand cut steaks and legendary food and service. What a poor excuse for a steak, and even poorer service to defend it after I brought it to her attention. I've never had this problem at other locations, but now, twice in a row at this one. Ugh- the steak salad was a pre bagged salad kit. The cheesy fries were rock hard and dried out. The kids chicken tenders were 5 tiny nugget portions like the bottom of the bag sizes. Got 2 steak salads, cheesy fries, a kids Mac and cheese and a kids chicken tenders meal that was worthy of MAYBE $20, but this mess was $76. Ridiculous. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday. We gathered the family, and all 7 of us arrived at the restaurant around 6 PM. As she called ahead, we were seated promptly, the waitress took our orders as promptly. So far - so good. The food arrived. My steak was good, although it was kind of lean for a NY strip, and had a VERY GREASY edge. My daughter's NY strip was MOSTLY GRISTLE. Also, her chili was resembling more a soup than hearty chili, and the baked potato has seen too much time in the oven: the bottom was definitely burned. So much for birthday celebration. My stepson said that his gravy was way too salty. And my spouse left about 3/4 of his meal on the plate, which is highly uncharacteristic of him, as he usually leaves his plate clean. I guess I was one of the lucky ones, other than my meal had been served on a small plate, when I requested an "adult size". Since it was such a failure for a birthday party, the 3 stars I gave our experience was only because of the great service. The wait staff is NOT responsible for the quality of food. I moved to Pueblo from Los Angeles about a year ago, and my parents moved to Denver... They are constantly going to steakhouses and paying $60-$70 for steaks, so I said, "Come to Pueblo for my birthday!" We've never been to a Texas Roadhouse, but the prices looked great, and the reviews were good. And who can resist a rootin' tootin' type of time? WE LOVED EVERYTHING! They also seem to have the best side salads in town. Service always seems to be good though it is very loud as to be expected. Stopped in for dinner on July 16, 2024. After a long day of driving (left New Braunfels TX at 5.am) it was great to see smiling staff and smiling customers. We were seated fairly quickly and prompt service was provided by our sever . I had the 16 oz medium rare ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad and a cold beer. Our experience at this Texas roadhouse was baffling to say the least. I ordered a medium rare prime rib and was served essentially a raw piece of meat. It was unseasoned and looked like it came straight out of the package. When i asked a server for help getting it cooked she seemed annoyed as if I was being far too particular to be asking that my steak was actually cooked. We got the same bothered and unaccommodating attitude from our server as well. Luckily the manager was nice, but there was no attempt to try and comp the meal. I ordered a 16oz prime rib seasoned and grilled, chicago style. I reiterated to the waitress and I still received it with no seasoning and not grilled. Sent it back and waited for 20 more minutes. The manager brought it to be and it was completely overdone. She took it back and we waited for another 30 minutes. Received again and this time it was completely raw. TEXAS ROADHOUSE is a chain restaurant and is quite popular because of the meal, atmosphere and low cost for what you get in my opinion. Decent meal for what you shell out for your hard-earned dollar. There is definitely better places for steak, however if you want a meal to satisfy the wrought without spending a fortune...come here and give it a try if have not experienced this restaurant chain. We are from out of town and asked hotel for a good place to go for dinner. They recommend Texas Roadhouse. Went to this place for dinner on a Sunday night. As usual the place was packed. We had to ask waitress for bread plates, twice. She finally got them to our table and said they just came out of dishwasher and WE could wipe the dry. I ordered 8 oz sirloin with 6 shrimp. Steak was undercooked and shrimp overcooked and only had 5. Meal served did not look like picture on menu. Bad food bad waitress not a good stop. read more

It's been over a year since I've been to this location. I travel quite a bit and I eat at Texas Roadhouse all the time. Pueblo location never fails. Jake my waiter and Nick the manager exceeded expectations for customer service. Traveling across town found this place Texas roadhouse they were terrible barbecue chicken was a frozen piece of chicken. They threw barbecue sauce on the roadkill that my lady ordered was ground beef and onion. Small portions drinks were expensive. Please don't go here.
