Nice place with a corner location! Took our grandson there for pizza. Nick was our waiter and worked so well with us. On Wednesday they had buy a large pizza get a childs free. They also gave out a valentines bag craft for kids. Great idea and kept kids busy. Had the moonlight pizza traditional FibArk pizza. The bread sticks are really good with marinara sauce. Good beer, great pizza, kid friendly! Not our first time here and will be back. Grandson loved it all!

Moonlight Pizza and I go way back to my first Salida Winter overnight in 2004. It's been a perennial stop, but until last week, I hadn't been in since the pre-Covid days. They opened in 1994. That's some staying power, esp in a mountain town. Salida has several great pizza spots, but Moonlight keeps on going. They must be doing something right. We had our emerging third graders on a long weekend in the area, which limits our choices to pizza, burgers, etc. Salida has both of these covered. Our first stop was Moonlight. The interior has more than doubled in size over time. It's now bright, spacious & artsy inside. Patio space abounds. Service was quick, friendly, and accommodating. Pizza remains their strong point. A light, airy crust teams with quality toppings and plenty of cheese to make it easy to eat more than you need. The red sauce's flavor, though, tasted canned (to me at least), which it's clearly not when giving it a visual inspection. YMMV. The rest of the pie carried the day, though. I wished I'd ordered a medium. Solidly good the next day, it was. Gotta say, their beer is mids, but better than standard macro taps for sure. If you're not a beer snob, forget I said that. You'll be stoked. Our only sticking point was from the boys: While the sodas are tasty, they don't pour a cola or a lemon-lime. The cream soda and root beer were abandoned by the kids, appreciated by the adults. Four star pizza. Three star beer. Four star stars overall. I'll be back again.

So to start, the boyfriend's uncle loves Moonlight and we had traveled from CS to see him for the day and were still stuffed from lunch. But we wanted to grab a mocktail and spend more time together. No plans for food. Well, breadsticks, several mini pizzas and more happened. It was worth every bite and every calorie. Excellent service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super great. And free stickers. I've now got Moonlight stickers on my Yeti bottles representing up in NY. The boy and I may also have t-shirts. It was that fun. Cannot wait to come back and really try the menu!

We went here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of 10 and an infant and were surprisingly seated quickly. The live music was a great touch! On my end of the table, the breadsticks, a cheese pizza, the Venus, and make your own with pepperoni, pineapple, and green chilis were ordered. The pesto that came with the breadsticks were delicious and all the pizzas were really good! We were a little surprised at how little beers they had for being a brewery.

Lunch here today in Salida was yummy. I had the Greek pizza, adding sausage, and my wife had the Venus pizza, adding pesto. Pizzas were delicious. We both ended up with a Mexican lager, and they were good too. Service was slow at the start, and a bit hit and miss overall, but we weren't in a huge hurry, so it was fine. Pizzas made it worth it.

Food was very delicious, would come again! By far the best restaurant I have had in this town. The food runner was very friendly and he was a delight. Their own version of a lemonade/ sprite is delicious! Very refreshing.

Came in for a quick bite and had a great experience. The cheese bread was delicious especially when paired with the marina sauce. The caesar salad was to die for. Service was great. The pizza was solid but nothing special in my opinion. Well decorated and good seating.

Service from start to finish was beyond excellent, thanks Nick T! Homemade Root beer and Micro beers are full of flavor. One sip and you're hooked. We came during happy hour when beer is buy one get one free! That was $5 for 2 beers! That's unheard of. Our pizza was The Full Moon and I don't believe we've ever had toppings on a pizza this fresh! This place blows other pizza/micro brewery's out of the water. We travel constantly so this is a HUGE compliment. It was a beautiful April day so the garage door was open for a lovely breeze. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

Amazing pizza!!! Dog friendly patio and the staff is super kind, food delivered quickly, and super delicious. I loved the crust, also had friends in our party order chicken wings that looked amazing. Friend ordered a pumpkin beer and said it was really good and has a cinnamon sugar rim. We ordered the house root beer which was good

Hot Mess, June's pizza of the month!

The "pizza of the month" was the Hot Mess! What an amazing combination of toppings! Steak, mushrooms, roasted garlic, jalapeños on a white sauce. The service is always great! You won't be disappointed. Worth the trip!

Great Sandwich. Got the Philly Sat down with my dog for a beer and the Philly. Great place lunch. No waiting great service.

Stopped by for lunch on a hot Tuesday afternoon. Beer was cold and lots of variety. Had a Philly Sandwich which was great. Perfect service. Really nice people. Plenty of dog bowls and doggie water.

    Honey chili wings super small

We stopped Moonlight while walking around Salida during a camping trip. Stopped for a beer and an appetizer. The wings were so small and disappointing we also asked for all flats when the runner brought the wings out all she said was "I don't know who didn't read the ticket but here you go it's half and half. Oh well". Great customer service, not!! May give them another try when we camp again sure hope this isn't normal for them. I'm addition, our server was not good at all. She walked by us several times with empty drinks then when we were ready to pay she kept walking by us the POS machine.

    Burnt and non tossed wings.

Pizza is good, but a little pricey. The calzones are delicious, I wish there was a more traditional cheese calzone option.

The restaurant was moved because a larger kitchen needed however we didn't know where. Now we found it. It's much larger and menu looks expanded. Nicky decorated and cozy. We were greeted by Trevor who sat us and waited on us as well. He was always available for any questions we had or service needed. We got a couple beers and ordered. I had shrimp pho and my wife had chicken pho. The taste was incredible ( I also enjoy a good pho ) and portions just right per size. We were attended to make sure our needs were met. Pawnee ( spelling ?? ) greeted us and thanked us for stopping in. She is the owner. She made us feel welcomed and special customer. Another couple of customers came in while we dined. We seen them get something from a cooler; so I asked what it was. Sticky rice with blueberries. I asked for one ( I've had sticky rice in Thailand before ) Trevor treated me to a serving. It was just like I remembered. Definitely will be back to dine again. If you're in Salida make it a point to stop in.

It may look small from the outside, but it's quite the restaurant inside. It's spacious and there's even a stage....maybe for kid's performances or karaoke night. I was really looking forward to Asian food, so my expectations were high. Since it was such a large group and ONLY 1 waitress, orders got lost and mixed up, and the wait was long! I was hungry, but also understand that one waitress helping us would take a while. Unfortunately, some were not as patience and had a little 'tude, so I apologize for them. I had the beef pho, since it was a cold night. There were tons of different orders, but my pho was okay. It was kind of warm broth instead of hot and who puts carrots in pho???? That was weird to me. We weren't offered all the right herbs and mints that usually goes with it, but assuming it's in a small town they don't have access to them? It wasn't the best pho I've ever had, nor was it the worst. Just not authentic. Also, it's combination of Southeast cuisine - a little bit of Vietnamese, a little Thai, a little Chinese, and from what I remember only ONE dish that was Cambodian. Everybody on our end of the table was not happy with their food. Some of the ladies weren't happy with their Thai Tea and sent it back. I didn't try it, but the owner came out and questioned it. mmmmm.....I wouldn't questioned why a customer didn't like it just because you made it. You should asked why didn't you like it and how can I improve. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and bellies didn't go home happy. Oh, the food took so long to come out some left. It was disappointing.
