One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! Ironically, after two days of straight blizzard, a couple of the resorts actually had to close on our last day planned for snowboarding because there was too much snow to upkeep. Instead, we pivoted to a fun little day in truckee, and we passed by RMU for a drink. It wasn't too busy and we sat at the bar chatting with the bartender for a bit. I think I had a cider since they didn't have any sour beers (and I'm soft) and it was crisp and delicious. Prices were fair, and it's a pretty "know what you're getting" type of place - there's no pool or shuffleboard etc, just a bar. They had some decent merch too.
