Very disappointing experience. We rode our Harleys for a long distance to stop here and had not been drinking. Parking lot was literally dirt, broken asphalt, and on incline--- not safe for motorcycles, so we carefully rode on the sidewalk (NOT ON PURPOSE) just to access a safer spot. Instead of greeting us or politely explaining where we should park, the bartender served another customer, looked at us, and said, "You all look intoxicated and you rode on our sidewalk, so I'm not serving you." We weren't from the area, and a simple, respectful explanation about the parking would have gone a long way. Instead, we were immediately judged and accused without any conversation. Stopped in for a drink while visiting Leadville on a nice crisp sunny winter afternoon. The beers were cold, crisp and refreshing. We ordered the Your Lightest Beer as well as the Cherry-Lime Kettle Sour. The gentleman serving us was friendly and also very diligent about checking ID's for every person that came in. 2-Mile Brewing Company was very clean, well decorated and seemed like a popular spot seeing that it became busier as we were leaving. Cool concept of "America's Highest Brewery" but the beer was just meh unfortunately at this brewery. We've driven through Leadville countless times and always said we should stop here; we were in town for the weekend so finally got to make it out here. I got a Maibock and my husband got the Camp Hale Pale Ale. To be fair, I tend to like funkier beers, but the maibock fell a little flat for me. There were also only 6 beers on tap, which would make me think more time to perfect a few beers but I didn't care for either beer. We went on a Saturday night and there were a few groups when we entered, but by the time we left around 7PM, we were the last group in there. The bartender was very nice and amicable, even took a picture of our group in our new Melly's. The kindness of the bartender is bumping the review up to a 4 but unfortunately it was 3 star beer for us. read more

I love this brewery and I love this town. This is maybe the only part of CO I'd consider living in. It's way less "bougie snow bro" than the vast majority of this state. No idea why there are so many negative reviews. Like Leadville, this brewery is solid, straightforward, and unpretentious. Staff were friendly and the beers were solid. I don't like giving 1 star when I didn't get to try anything, because our 2 small dogs weren't allowed on the patio, which by the way was empty, and the 5 picnic tables closer to the road that were dog friendly was full. So I gave 2 stars to draw attention that you are losing a lot of business by not letting dogs on your outside patio. We walked about 12 blocks as one Yelp reviewer said it was dog friendly. You have like 20 tables on the patio on one of the best weather days, the Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend, we've had on our trip and the entire patio was empty. I did hear from a server at another place that the beer was pretty good, but we are camping nearby and don't leave our dogs in the camper or car on trips. If we drive by and a picnic table is open maybe we'll try again, but the weather doesn't look good for our remaining stay. If anything, why not make one side of the building's patio ok and the other side not in case there are customers that don't like dogs but want to sit outside? read more

Definitely one of my favorite stops in Leadville. We happened upon the brewery after ski jooring when much of the places in town were insane and I am so glad we did. We make it a regular stop now. This brewery is small, but I love that feel! Makes it seem like a secret hideout. The beer is great - I've had many beers here and have not been disappointed with any of them. They also serve food for after a few brewskis when you get a hankering for a snack. The food usually takes a little bit, but mostly because there's a small staff, not because of a lack of service. What a great, random find while visiting Leadville this year! The guys wanted a beer with a small bite before we headed out of town. Two Mile Brewing fit the bill. The gentleman working was polite and helpful while they decided what to order. Prices were reasonable. The food arrived pretty quickly. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching. Kids played cornhole, drew with chalk on the sidewalks and everyone just seemed happy. We started talking with other visitors and it was a great atmosphere. Both the mozzarella sticks and the fried ravioli were really good for pub food. The sauce was a little light in the seasoning department but the snacks were seasoned just fine so the sauce became unnecessary. If you're in the area, I'd say it's worth a visit. The guys enjoyed the beer and we all left with a smile on our faces. read more

This place has had an unfortunate start to their business with COVID, but they are rocking it none the less! Dealing with difficult times, they've opened their patio, require masks, and supply sanitizer. As for beer, they have 3 solid starts: a pale, a wheat, and a quad. We tried all 3 and were very happy. My wife and I had a great visit here yesterday afternoon. We stopped in for a beer after dinner. We both had the Camp Hale Pale Ale, which was perfect. Great balance. Crisp, hoppy, flavorful, and easy drinking. The bartender was friendly and quickly greeted us and poured our beers. They have a simple patio area outside with nice views of the mountains, so that's where we sat. It was a great place for social distancing during COVID. I would definitely come here again. read more

Friendly service, really unfinished beers. I tried the Italian Pilsner and thought the bartender had made a mistake. So she kindly poured me another one. Same reaction: overly hoppy with a strange perfume flavor. Not like any Italian Pilsner I've ever had, and different is fine if different is good. We also tried the Maibock. Hah this place was great. First, the only thing that should matter: the beer is cheap and really good. Second, this is a brew pub and not a full service restaurant. They have tasty snacks (cheese sticks, fried ravioli, etc.) so that you don't turn into a drunken werewolf, but the beer is really the focus. The pale ale is my favorite but there is a rotating variety. If you're hungry and want a restaurant, there are many good ones down the street. Then you should come here afterwards. Finally, we love the owner/brewer whom we respectfully refer to as "Red Beard." He is witty, brutally honest, and makes good beer. He should write a book of one liners. I'd buy it. read more

Stopped here on the way back from Aspen for the first and last time. The beer is not good and over priced. They don't allow dogs on the outdoor patio only on the side of the road. The people at the next table were asked to leave because they opened a bag of jerky that they bought from the store across the street. This place is amazing!! Just opened in the heart of the pandemic. Amazing views and great beer. Only had the toasted raviolis, but they were very good. They have a food menu that is limited, but available. Not really fair to downgrade on stars because of the no dogs rule. It never gets above 80 in Leadville. Park in the shade and leave the windows open the dogs are in heaven. You can park right next to the outside patio. Leadville needed a second brewery and I like PB Brewing, but the prices at 2 Mile are much less expensive. The views are amazing and right on Harrison immediately south of the main shopping area. Sean, one of the owners, was bartending and was very friendly. Open 11-9 Friday and Saturday. 11-6 on Sunday. Closed Monday to Thursday. read more

Made a trip to Leadville to drop by 2-mile Brewery. I have to say they stay true to themselves and do a great job on their beers. I'm typically an IPA guy, but that wasn't where they were going and were entirely unapologetic about it. If I go wine tasting at a winery which is known for great reds and I'm a dry white wine guy, do I criticize them for their whites? My wife, son and I had a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed tasting their beers. If you only enjoy a narrow variety of beers, maybe call ahead and check what's on tap. BTW the peanut butter Thai sauce on the chicken fingers was really good. read more

We were in town for the weekend and decided to stop by and check this place out as we love brewery hopping. We walked in and the guy with the red beard immediately stated if you are here for just food I cant do that. We said no, we are here for beer. To which he replied "oh, I saw the minors (2 12;yr olds) and assumed you were here for food ". So we sat down and ordered, then attempted to order a second and was ignored. Then he went to clean the counter and splashed my friend and didn't even apologize. There was another group there who ordered food and drinks and when they only tipped 7% he refused to make their food (which yes they should have tipped more, but still). Just a very rude person. Had a great experience last night at Two Mile Brewing - which I learned is one of the highest altitude breweries in the entire world! The Oktoberfest and porter were delicious, and the view on the patio can't be beat. And contrary to some of the other reviews I'm seeing, I found the staff to be kind, attentive, and hilarious - with one guy cracking jokes with us all evening.
