What a great place! The food was excellent. We enjoyed the dog friendly patio. I ordered the Mac Attack with the beer cheese soup. Both were excellent. My family ordered various items and everyone was happy. Definitely worth stopping in!

Visited Tennessee Pass Café while in Leadville and really enjoyed my meal. I got the bison burger along with sweet potato fries and an Arnold Palmer all of it was flavorful and satisfying. What really made the visit even better was the attentive staff who checked in often and made sure I had everything I needed. If you're in Leadville and want a good, hearty meal, this is a great choice!

We stopped in Leadville on our way through- Tennessee Pass Cafe had an interesting looking menu. Food way fantastic. We we sat right away and the server (Jackie) was very attentive. Between apps and our main- there was a rush of people coming in. The manager was called in- and they handled the rush professionally. We had the Brussels and Wings (honey sriracha ) for Apps Our mains were - BFF (ultimate grilled cheese and tomato soup), Mac and Cheese, Rueben and the Claudia. We WILL stop again- on our way back through.

Gyro sandwich no, it's a salad on a pita! They give you maybe a teaspoon of meat!

Everything. Not very friendly staff, the food was basic and ok, and the environment was loud and uncomfortable.

One of the best restaurants in town. The Brussel Spouts and sweet potato fries are incredible.

Terrible service. Waitress was super rude and acted like we were ruining her day by eating there. Food was decent but not worth going back.

Food was bland and cold, took 45 minutes for the food to come out, and the staff was rude and unprofessional. Very expensive as well.

We also split a side of onion rings and they were great. Literally the best food we've had on our trip. Clara was our waitress and gave 5-star service. We were seated promptly and the food was delivered just perfectly timely after ordering. Price was fair for the area. No complaints there. Would definitely visit here again. This place deserves a much higher rating.

I woke up wanting to cross off something from my Colorado bucket list so I got in my car, drove to…read moreLeadville, and lined up at the Legendary Silver Dollar Saloon! One of Colorado's oldest establishments, sitting high and mighty since 1879 in the highest unincorporated town in the U.S. Riddled with history and famous guests like Molly Brown and Oscar Wilde, this place has stood the test of time for just about 150 years. Everyday: 12pm - 1am Kitchen: 12pm-6pm (Wed-Sat) Kitchen: 12pm-5pm (Sun) The exterior alone looks like a movie set from an old Western. Inside it's a warm and cozy saloon with about 10 bar seats, high tops, booths, and a big back room with most of the seating available for patrons. Pub grub is their specialty, with the additional flare of wild game. They serve cocktails, wine, and have a nice beer menu consisting of local Colorado brews. Bellying up at this bar felt special, and when the bartender handed me some reading material about the bar's history, everything fell into place. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of the food, but the lamb french dip was amazing! I was tossing and turning over what to order, and the bartender, Bobbie, steered me in the right direction saying this was her favorite. The sandwich was rich, cheesy, and unctuous. The bread was great, too. Gimme 10 more for the road! She told to order their famous onion rings and these are definitely noteworthy. When's the last time you ate an onion ring and it bit through cleanly? (think O shape to C shape). I feel like they could've been seasoned more, but the texture was A+. Bobbie, the aforementioned bartender, was awesome and deserves a shoutout. She worked the whole bar throughout my timely stay and was a pleasure to talk to. I love frequenting old establishments. To me, sitting inside and appreciating the history is enough. When you have local beers, great food, and good convos, the ante only ups itself. If you only have time for one stop in Leadville, make it the Silver Dollar Saloon!
