It's a must visit spot in FairPlay. Great outdoor seating overlooking FairPlay Beach!

Park Bar is a good hole in the wall to grab a bite/drink. There aren't a ton of food options in the area--the front desk at my hotel recommended here. Their most popular item is the fish & chips. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. Bartender was friendly but service was pretty slow - to be expected in a little mountain town.

We stopped in for a to-go order since we had our dogs and were just coming back from hiking. The staff was welcoming and the food was great! Just ordered burgers and the husband got piece of raspberry caramel pie. Would go again.

The Park Bar is a great, local hangout with cold beer, decent drinks and a very simple menu. The pretzels are solid. There is a wood burning stove that is the hot spot to sit. A few tables and maybe 20 bar stools. Pool table too. Overall this is a semi-rowdy but fun bar to have some beers and a snack. It's not amazing for dinner but the food is ok if you decide to make it your dinner stop.

My favorite place to go after hiking Mt Sherman annually. Great burger and beer stop after a solid hike! They use your name as much as they can and greet and wish you well on the way out. Plus, a couple TV's and a pool table. Very welcoming and enjoy my yearly visit.

Just a sports bar, nothing much in the way of decor or ambiance...but it gets a full 5 stars because their food (despite the grim appearance) was extremely flavorful and truly home-made and service. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. The server was so friendly and super accommodating. She was truly helpful and kind in accommodating us and making sure we had all we needed. I felt like we were probably the only tourists in the bar and the place was quite hopping for a Saturday lunch. They also have free wifi, which I needed since I had virtually not signal in the area and I needed to make sure I downloaded the information for our overnight stay in Buena Vista. Glad we popped in here for lunch.

Bartender was rude but at least the fries made up for it somewhat. Side salad was good as well and seemed fresh

Drink beer and pet dogs is a very fitting slogan for this place. Wanting to try some different beers tonight, we had quite the flight: 1 - American Dream Cream Ale 2 - Irish Red 3 - Mexican Lager 4 - Ginger Pale Ale 5 - Fruit Ninja Blonde 8 - Lostoberfest Marzen 10 - Mangy Moose Spruce Tip Pale Ale My two favorites were the Cream Ale and the Marzen. Following the flight, I enjoyed a pint of the Cream Ale. My wife liked the Marzen and the Mangy Moose the best, and she enjoyed two pints of the Marzen. Employees and customers are all very friendly. A definite stop when we're in Breckenridge.

We fell in love with their original location years ago. Their beer is fantastic. The service and atmosphere, though, is what keeps us coming back. The Broken Compass team works at both locations. Claire was our favorite team member but everyone on the team does a great job at inviting you to feel welcome. They're amazing. My favorite beer is their coconut porter. It has a hint of fresh coconut and is a lighter side of porter, not too syrupy. It's well balanced and might I dare say--it's perfect. That said, I haven't had a beer here that I didn't like. They have a great layout at the original location, though you wouldn't think it being in a commercial warehouse. There's a big garage door that opens in the back to outdoor seating. There's this amazing mural in the back of the building. The crowd there all seem to know each other which I am amazed at each time we visit. It's a more local vibe at the original location than the more touristy accessible location on Main Street. The original location has a super cozy vibe, lots of board games (or bring your own). It's a great place to hangout for a few hours. They also have a shuttle that takes patrons back to Main Street. Just call or ask the crew for more details. Again, favorite brewery in Breck. Thanks Claire and team! September 2024

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.

When we arrived, there was a medical situation with a guest, and an ambulance came to assist. Obviously, that takes priority, and we were patient and understanding. However, after the situation cleared, we continued waiting another 20 minutes. During that time, several groups who arrived after us were seated first. When I politely asked the host about our status, I was told those groups were seated because they were smaller parties. That didn't appear to be accurate, and when I mentioned that, the response quickly became rude and dismissive. At that point, we decided there was no reason to stay and left for dinner elsewhere. The next day, we ate at Tin Plate Pizza--fantastic food and excellent service. Ironically, while walking past Bird and Cow afterward, we noticed their kitchen area through an open back door, and it did not appear clean or well-kept. In hindsight, we're glad things worked out the way they did--but overall, this was a frustrating experience driven by inaccurate wait times and poor customer service.
