Emasculate vibes sitting on the outside patio alongside the creek with the best views on a nice summer day. I was very enthusiastic about the hard horchata. I also ordered tacos which were pretty large in size. The server was also really kind and accommodating.

Great food and ambiance! The patio seating was great during the Sunday farmers market. Staff was friendly and quick.

DIY guac. Props for getting me excited about paying to make my own dip. I was very jazzed about it and it was delicious.

Such a cool atmosphere and decor with great service and delicious food. We really enjoyed it and I'll definitely go back. I also admire any establishment that makes me pay to make my own appetizer. Slow clap. Great business model. The DIY guac is actually pretty fun and you can't mess it up.

Came in here after snowboarding on a Sunday afternoon, we were happy to see they were open around 1 PM, when many other bars in the area were not yet open. Although the sign said, fresh pressed margaritas, the bartender didn't know what we were talking about when we asked if all the margaritas on the menu were fresh pressed. Turns out they are mostly all batched. We sat at the bar and we're shocked and odd by the beautiful ambience, with a bookshelf spanning 40 feet high up into the rafters of the ceiling and Mexican themed skeletons lining the shelves high above reach. Very unique and fitting for the theme. We tried the scorpion and the El Niño, the El Niño tasted a little too sweet, although I saw him shaking it and making it in the moment, it tasted a lot like a regular juice. Also, we were given the wrong rim, but when I pointed it out and asked for the cinnamon sugar it said on the menu, the bartender swept out the cups and re-rimmed the new glass. The scorpion was the better drink, although it came batched it was light and delicious, with a real kick that many spicy margaritas don't achieve. Sadly, it slipped my mind to grab a photo! We appreciated our drinks and the good vibes, thanks bonez!

Great atmosphere with friendly service. Our party of 6 came on a Sunday night and had a 15 min wait until we were seated outside streetside patio. The group really enjoyed out queso and salsa appetizers....the pineapple salsa was a hit! Unfortunately, they didn't have avocadoes so we couldn't get the quac :( They had a busy weekend and CB is pretty remote to get frequent deliveries. We ordered Chicken Enchiladas, Fajitas and every version of the non vegan tacos across all of us and the group seemed to enjoy them. It took a significant time to get our entrees.....which I guess can be expected from time to time when a smaller town gets overwhelmed with visitors and staffing challenges. Service from Aiden was super friendly and prompt!

You mix your own guac, and you get a generous amount.

This is a lively restaurant with a cool atmosphere, I especially like the bar area with a long high communal table. The house margaritas were good, they are premixed but not too sweet. The trio of salsas was also yummy, I especially liked the pineapple one, quite spicy. You mix your own guac and I'd recommend asking for jalapenos if you like it a little hot. Our waiter was nice and we had a great time. We'd definitely go back when in Crested Butte.

This was a really neat place to eat at. We ate outside because the weather was so nice but the interior of the restaurant is beautiful so maybe a good option for dinner! The salsas were really good. I really liked the chipotle one but the rest of the family liked the pineapple salsa. We passed on the guac because it was overpriced AND you have to make it yourself. Anyway, the enchiladas(we got steak) were the favorite of the meal, followed by the fajitas(the sour cream and picked onions really made this dish), then the bowl which we felt we could have done without. Spanish rice and beans on the side were a good call. The staff was really friendly and helpful, our dishes came out quickly, and they checked in on us regularly. My sister came here before and said she really enjoyed the quesadilla salad last time.

    Happy guacamole

We stopped by on Saturday around 6 PM and the manager was so kind to help us put a larger table together. We only waited about 10 minutes. Our server was so sweet. I don't remember her name, but she was extremely knowledgeable about all the cocktails -- and there are many. It's one thing to memorize the ingredients, but quite another to understand flavor, profiles, textures, substitutions, etc. she really knows her stuff and was great at making recommendations. We tried a number of different cocktails, including the Headhunter, Xanadu, London press, lemon ginger NA, and poco loco. Personally, I had the headhunter and Poco Loco. The headhunter was yummy, but not special enough to order again. The Poco Loco, however, was unique and delicious with the habanero infusion so present and the foamy top giving it a melt in your mouth texture. It's pretty warm in there as they have no AC and no fans to circulate the air and it is still summer, plus drinking makes you hotter, so we were a little sweaty, but This is of course, a very temporary feeling as the area does not stay this hot for long. Absolutely can't wait to come back

We arrived before 4:00 and so we were able to take advantage of the Happy Hour menu which has a wide range of small plates that were enticing enough to make our decisions matters of great deliberation. We started with the chicken confit drummies in Buffalo sauce that were so delicious we had to get a second round. Each portion has three drummies that are perfectly sauced and finger licking good. We followed this with an order of Philly Egg Rolls which are cheese steaks in a wonton wrapper. Ambitious but rather average in the event. The beer battered fries with a curry brat redeemed the moment. The fries are crisp on the outside with creamy centers. The curry brat is sliced and mixed throughout. Excellent. We ordered the Orzo Bowl off the main menu which is a delectable mix of veg, berries, nuts and cheese then finished with the warm brownie sundae. Bruhaus offers a great selection of taps and handcrafted cocktails. We had the Espresso Martini and the Topsy and could not have been more pleased. Service was attentive and the ambiance is mountain cozy. The Bruhaus is a nice venue offering great food and beverages served with a smile.

Lots of dirty looks which made us feel uncomfortable and rushed. Our server was excellent!! She was so amazing and friendly. After waiting 45 minutes, I was informed that they made the wrong food, and then was informed after that, that my food was given to another table. I felt like the kitchen wasn't happy they had to remake my food, and I actually ended up sick less than 12 hours after eating here. There are many wonderful spots in Crested Butte- I would suggest looking elsewhere.

They specialize in live fire cooking and we were lucky enough to get a booth right across from the action as you will see in the pics. They use a mix of red and white oak to control the heat along with a series of movable grill plates. We started with a delicious Strawberry Salad that also had watermelon radish and delicate greens lightly tossed in a vinaigrette. Coming from Arizona, I had to try the Pozole and thrilled I did. The rich red broth gave light to the chili heart of this very complex liquid. The pozole had great texture and the shredded pork was tender and outstanding. An excellent example of this favorite dish. The most amazing entree was the main course. It was a shareable Half Elk Rack. While I like medium rare, when it was brought to the table, I thought it might be too rare. As soon as I tasted it, I realized it was perfection. It was so tender and the chew was great, especially on the end pieces that had an incredible bark on the outside. Elk is an extremely lean dish so to add some unctuous notes, they take Fois Gras, and as the fat renders, add huckleberries before putting it in a blender to create a heavenly base. We couldn't resist dragging every bite across the serving plate to savor the magic. As a side dish, we ordered the squash which was also perfectly roasted over the live fire and complimented the dish.

Kind of hard to eat around the small bones but loved the stuffed flavors! For dinner, we shared two dishes: ELK SAUSAGE & PEPPERS PASTA and PORK CHOP. The pasta was very so-so, nothing that blew me away. However, the pork chop was super tasty - loved the sauce. For dessert, we shared limoncello sorbet - perfect amount of refreshing and loved the fun strawberry powder! Our server was super nice and attentive. Really nice experience overall!

The gazpacho was top notch, fresh and had bright color and flavor. My wife's filet was cooked perfectly with great texture on outside and tender on the inside. I ordered the Colorado lamb sirloin. It was hard to cut through...was it the slightly tough texture or the non-serrated knife (asked for serrated, restaurant did not have)? I think a little of both. I ordered the chimichurrie to go with the lamb. It came in a cute white ceramic vessel shaped a little like an hourglass with an narrow waist and flared bottom and top. At the top, you could see bright green liquid oil without any of the obvious other chunky ingredients of chimichurri. Ahh, you might think that the next step would be to stir it with a small spoon (often paired with the traditional small ramekin of chimichurri)... alas, no small utensils, just our dinnerware. Not only that, but I generously thought that this fine establishment fully intended to present this as their new twist on chimichurri. Not wanting to complain, I sheepishly drizzled the green oil onto my lamb and made the best of it. Only on my last bites of lamb did I discover belatedly that the dressing had separated and discovered the bright greens and garlic layered densely at the bottom. Two take home messages. Future diners: remember to shake the chimi! Elk Ave Prime: if you are going to charge $7 for a sauce, improve your execution so your customers can fully appreciate your culinary skills.
