    Apple Ravioli
    Jacqueline T.

My husband and I shared: - Whipped Ricotta - Apple Ravioli - High Spirits Flatbread While everything was very good, the apple ravioli was hands down my favorite. It's one of the most unique pasta dishes I've ever had. I loved the apple with it and the sauce was delicious. The pizza was very good, though the crust was a little crunchy for my preference. I traded a slice with my mom and the Hot Date pizza was actually my favorite between the two. While they call them flatbreads, they're what I would consider pizza, not flatbread. We didn't have a reservation, but we had no issue getting a table at 5pm on a weekend in October. I wish they were open for lunch because I usually eat out for lunch rather than dinner, but if I'm in Crested Butte and need dinner again, I will definitely come back.

Incredible food. Hospitable and friendly service. Casual yet upscale ambiance. Family and I shared several items and all were unforgettable: - Gruyere Sourdough - Whipped Ricotta - Apple Ravioli - High Spirits Flatbread - Hot Date Flatbread The Hot Date Flatbread was my favorite but the Apple Ravioli was unlike anything I've eaten before.

This is our favorite go to spot when we are in CB, we usually go at least twice. There can be a line at opening especially in the summer, but it always moves quickly. Service is always great. They serve 1-2 specialty sourdoughs with their basic and you can also buy loaves to take home - these also sell quickly in the summer. They are all good but the gruyere is my favorite. The menu has great shareable salads, some pizzas and pastas, and a few random other entrees. They have a good drink selection including my favorite, a daily special mocktail. Food is brought out as it is ready, which they warn you of, so some entrees may take longer. I think we've enjoyed every entree we've ever tried - probably the Detroit style pizza was the only dish more meh - but lots of food for the money and still not bad, just a little flat and oily.

YUM. Listen to everyone else and get that sourdough bread. Ho-ly buckets - it's amazing. Also shout outs for the pear ravioli as well as the flatbread. Service and staff is good and the ambiance is delightful. Definitely get a reservation or else you'll be waiting a while.

Food 5/5: the sourdough is so good and fresh. Also loved the corzetti mushroom and truffle pasta and the squash ragu- both pastas so delicious and I was scraping the sauce from the plates. Service 2/5: unfortunately not great. Huge line to get in at 5pm and seemed like everyone in line also had the same reservation time because it took 25 mins for someone to take our order after we sat down. Had to ask for additional water when we saw other tables had an extra water jar at their table. Also they charge a 3% credit card processing fee. Also the pastas came out 15 mins after the other so don't expect to get your own food and eat at the same time

My wife and I had such a great time on our anniversary dinner. They treated us to complimentary bubbly, and the overall service was impeccable. The sourdough is incredible...same story for the flatbreads (as they're made with sourdough). For entrees we did the pumpkin ravioli and the farmhouse squash ragu, both of which were amazing! Highly recommend this place, it's definitely on the pricey side for entres (every thing else is reasonable) but that's what we were going for so didn't mind at all!

I made a reservation for my family of 9 (8 adults and 1 baby). It was easy to do online and they texted me ahead of time to confirm the reservation. When we showed up we were immediately seated. The food was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend having everyone order something different to share. The portions are big enough to share. The sourdough is a must. The burrata was so fresh and delicious. The whipped ricotta was also wonderful. Every dish was insanely good. I think our family liked the farmhouse squash ragu the best but every thing from the pictures shown to the pizzas (I forgot to capture) I would order again. Oh we also got the peach cobbler and either banana or bread pudding. Wow, so good!!! The staff was so nice to us and were very accommodating. The vibe they've created is so unique and special. Everyone from locals to visitors are welcome with the same warmth. Will be coming back to crested butte just so I can eat here again.

The bartenders were so sweet and made me feel right at home. The pizza and beer were great! If I'm ever in town again, I'd totally take some friends here!

I've tried to make it here several times but I always seem to be in CB on a Monday or Tuesday. My day off fell on a Saturday this last week so I took the opportunity to finally try this place. We got there right at opening at 5. We were seated immediately. First impressions are they take pride in detail. The space has an old school vibe. The menu is tight. There were about a dozen loaves of sourdough for sale at the bar. Sourdough is the Breadery's specialty. We ordered a Caesar to start. Then the Margherita pizza and the Pride Cheese Ravioli (ofc) The salad was salty and lemony. The Margherita was good but slightly underwhelming. The ravioli was fantastic. Had a great beet flavor with pesto and toasty crumbs. It's a small place with a small kitchen. Dishes are brought out as they are cooked. The cocktails are thoughtful. They serve a house ( boxed) wine for a great deal $8 If you are in CB I highly recommend this place. Go early.

A can't miss restaurant in Crested Butte. Be sure to make a reservation as far in as advance as possible. There were 6 of us and the Breadery came recommended to us from a few people so we knew we had to try it. They make their own bread, pasta and cakes in house and it shows. They were all fantastic and flavorful. Highly recommend the bread app, the carrot ravioli was unlike any thing I have ever eaten, unique flavors that I would not have put together, and any cake based dessert you can't go wrong with. This will be my go to spot when visiting Crested Butte from now on.

The Dogwood is a cocktail cabin that is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. They keep the lights dimmed and have a fun music playlist that creates a nice relaxed atmosphere. The floor creaks as you walk through the cabin and they have cool chandeliers. We were initially told it would be a long wait, but somehow they found a table rather quickly for us. It was cold out, so we appreciated it. The Dogwood has a nice variety of artisanal cocktails on their menu. Our server was very helpful with giving us some options. I didn't have my readers on me and had a hard time reading the menu. So her describing some of the cocktails to me was very helpful. Dogwood has a number of classic drinks, margaritas and martinis. Some of the fun names that I saw were Thor's Hammer, D Cup, Porch Song, Mr. Pink and Beetnik. I ordered the Headhunter and enjoyed my drink. For food, Dogwood has charcuterie-style bites and other light snacks. This was a great find and a nice way to cap off our fun trip to Crested Butte.

The drinks are pricey, but you're really paying for the ambience and care that they put into making each drink. The menus has plenty of options, but you can also order your favorite with your choice of spirits. I opted for a whiskey sour with my beloved Suntory Toki and it was dang good! I initially ordered Suntory Hibiki (a more expensive version of Suntory's whiskey), but I loved that our waitress made sure I saw the price listed for that whiskey was "per ounce"... so my cocktail would have been $50! I very much appreciated that she pointed that out instead of just putting in my order and then me being surprised by the cost! Not a ton of food options, yet they do offer charcuterie plates with your choice of cheeses and meats. We don't go that route, but cocktails and charcuterie would be great for a date night! It was very distracting and why I can't give 5 stars. Service was great - our server was attentive and all employees shared in clearing plates which I always like to see. Nothing really stood out to me as far as decor goes - if there was anything cool it was overshadowed by the tvs. For drinks, my husband had an old fashioned which was good but not out of the park. I had their mocktail of the moment which was a yuzu Moscow mule. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend. On the food front, Hideout did a grand job. We started with their special loaded kimchi waffle fries. Epic! I love kimchi and everything about this dish was perfect. For entrees, my husband had their Thai Me Up Burger with shoestring fries and was very pleased with it. Cooked as requested and fun flavors. I had their Fried Chicken Sandwich with kimchi pasta salad and while I only ate half due to being filled from waffle fries, it was very tasty. On the whole, I enjoyed the food and drink at The Hideout, but not sure I would return for the atmosphere or recommend for large groups who want to hang out sans distractions. Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktail and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. The Hideout did not have a very robust selection so I would love to see them expand that, but their seasonal mocktail was one of the best I've had, so kudos for creativity and craft!

We took two seats at the bar and were lucky enough to have Tina helping us, she was so friendly and knowledgeable, really a gem. We started with the fiery passion and the rum sour and were impressed by the complexity of flavors in both, the fiery passion was a real winner, with a taste of passionfruit, and the habanero pineapple in the rum really coming through, but not in a overly sweet way, just enough. The chili sugar rim was a unique way to really set it over the top. The rum sour was also delicious, the Demerara, giving it almost a hint of an old-fashioned, but keeping it light and foamy throughout. Such an incredible set of cocktails. I also had the tomato bisque soup, it was so yummy and cheesy, and the staff were nice enough to bring out some local made bread toasted on the side. Then, Tina made us her own special cocktail, a take on a strawberry spicy rum, with an egg white to give it a delicious foamy texture. All the drinks are delicious, and Tina noted that they were the strongest cocktails in the area, with 2 1/2 shots per drink. We were definitely feeling fun and talkative as we were leaving. This place was so upbeat, with games to choose from, but still keeping a refined mountain vibe. We tried to go back again the next day, but had finished earlier and the bar didn't open yet! Bummer. We don't find our way to crested Butte often but next time we are there, it will surely be a stop.
