Wow wow wow!! Absolutely love the Asian fusion! My husband got the Thai jam burger with the kimchi pasta salad and I got the bao special with smash burger and coconut shrimp baos. They were sooo good I definitely want to try more next time. Outdoor seating was pretty spacious and I appreciate that they had umbrellas at the table for shade. Cute little spot, though in my opinion FAR too many televisions for the space - 4 in one small square room is excessive and that wasn't even all of them. It was very distracting and why I can't give 5 stars. Service was great - our server was attentive and all employees shared in clearing plates which I always like to see. Nothing really stood out to me as far as decor goes - if there was anything cool it was overshadowed by the tvs. For drinks, my husband had an old fashioned which was good but not out of the park. I had their mocktail of the moment which was a yuzu Moscow mule. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend. On the food front, Hideout did a grand job. We started with their special loaded kimchi waffle fries. Epic! I love kimchi and everything about this dish was perfect. For entrees, my husband had their Thai Me Up Burger with shoestring fries and was very pleased with it. Cooked as requested and fun flavors. I had their Fried Chicken Sandwich with kimchi pasta salad and while I only ate half due to being filled from waffle fries, it was very tasty. On the whole, I enjoyed the food and drink at The Hideout, but not sure I would return for the atmosphere or recommend for large groups who want to hang out sans distractions. Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktail and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. The Hideout did not have a very robust selection so I would love to see them expand that, but their seasonal mocktail was one of the best I've had, so kudos for creativity and craft! read more

Fantastic! We dined in for dinner mid week and thoroughly enjoyed it! The atmosphere is cozy but reasonably quiet. TVs are plentiful but no sound so unobtrusive. Unique menu, lovely side patio, friendly service with a tasty outcome! We came on a Mon night around 6PM and we're able to get a great spot on the side patio (out of the sun). We started with Coconut Shrimp ($18) as an app....it was frankly the lowlight of our experience as it was more breading than shrimp. My daughter ordered the 2 Buns, 2 Lettuce Wraps with an upgrade to Bulgogi Steak ($20) and loved it! She wanted more :) Our SIL ordered the Pow Hound Burger ($22) and enjoyed it. My bride ordered the Hideout Nachos ($14) and didn't realize they weren't corn tortilla chips....they were good....just not what she expected. I went with the Fried Chicken Sandwich ($18) and it was tasty! It was a little light on the chicken and would have paid more for a better chicken to breading ratio. Hands down, the worst burger I have ever had. A smash burger should still be juicy. This burger was the width of a slice of bologna and beyond over cooked. The truffle cheese covered maybe an inch in the burger. Tasteless doesn't even begin to describe it. They topped it off with burnt bacon. Did they not look at it before they served it. The service was good and it had a cool ambiance. That could not make up for the food. A crappy burger, a chicken sandwich a less than stellar pork belly bowl, one iced tea and a draft beer all for $93. This place is no where near worth what they charge. They should be happy that the customer base doesn't seem to care about taste or quality. read more

My S.O. and I were in Crested Butte for a weekend getaway. We walked into The Hideout not knowing what kind of food they had. And we were delighted with our dinner. First, we ordered two appetizers. the Deviled eggs and dry rub wings. Both were delicious! My S.O. ordered the 2 buns with bulgogi pork and lettuce wraps, which he really enjoyed. I ordered a banh mi sandwich with bulgogi pork and Kim chi as my side. then we ordered grilled broccolini as a side to share. Everything was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this menu with Asian style food along with the American food. Our waiter was friendly and quick to bring out food and drinks. Dined here yesterday even for dinner with friends. Had a delicious burger! I decided on the Pow Hound Burger. It had pork belly on it which I'm a sucker for. It also had a chili crunch ranch on it which worked so well with the flavor it the burger. I also ordered a side of ranch for the fries since I love me some condiments. The ranch was definitely homemade and heavy on the dill. But a little dill never bothered me hehe. We also tried an order of the Dank Os which were some fancy loaded onion rings. As soon as we heard the owners of secret stash opened another restaurant in town, we knew we had to try it, and I'm so glad we did! This will now be another frequented spot any time we're in Crested Butte. Our server, Choyjng, was phenomenal and probably one of the most attentive and genuinely friendly servers I've had in a while, I will say, none us enjoyed the cocktails we ordered (strawberry zen, uzuloma, & toki toki) and thus if we were to go back, we'd probably skip alcoholic drinks or just order a basic well cocktail. We got the dank o's as an appetizer which were bomb! These were way better than the normal onion rings you get out. For entrees we got the shrimp po boy, bao bundle (fried chicken and birria), and the fried chicken sandwich. Everyone was really satisfied and pleased with their meal! The birria bao was less flavorful than expected and thus I probably wouldn't order that one again, but the fried chicken one was delicious! Personally, I would have given the restaurant 4/5 just because of the drinks and one of my bao's being under seasoned/flavored, but the tables ruling was 5/5. read more

We were in town for a construction project and finished up our work ready to celebrate. Not knowing the town, we chose this place on nothing but a search of local restaurants. We could not have made a better choice. The food was excellent! The place was clean and cozy. We shared some appetizers that pleased the whole group. The onion rings were to die for. Each of us had a burger, medium rare, and they were cooked to perfection. Their crispy chili oil on the table was the perfect compliment to the meal.
