Our first time staying in CB South and Tullys was the recommended restaurant so a bit surprised to see it has only 3 stars. We had a pleasant experience, went on a Saturday night in March, it was filled, but not busy by any means. There was really nice live music, a perfect level of volume for the space we were in. We got the wings, Philly cheesesteak, and ceaser salad, and were happy with everything! The only complaints were the fries were really salty and the lettuce in the salads weren't totally chopped. read more

We ate dinner here last night, and had a great experience. We opted to sit at the bar, which is full service. There are a lot of bar seats, as well as in restaurant seating, with large tvs, displaying current games/sporting events. There are tap handles all around the ceiling - I instantly had the feeling they take their beer options/menu seriously. The ever rotating beer menu is displayed on a tv (two screens worth of options), and I was excited to see a wide variety of beers. I opted for an IPA to start. The menu has a Philly vibe to it (not sure where else you can find a cheesesteak on an amoroso roll), with appetizers ranging from cheese curds, to fried pickles, or fried mushrooms, to potstickers and pork green chile. I ordered the Italian - which you can have cold or toasted (always go toasted!), comes with your choice of cheese, and a large amount of meat (capicola, salami, pepperoni), lettuce, tomato, banana pepper and onion. It was delicious (and substantial). The fries are delicious - seasoned and crispy. My husband ordered the meatball sub, which was also substantial, and very tasty, and he opted for a Caesar salad as his side, which was very good. Our friend ordered a salad, which was huge. The bartender was awesome, and Tully came out of the kitchen a few times to chat, and we learned more about him, and the restaurant. Great guy, and love what he's doing here. I am a local, live close and often meet friends here. I ordered wings as a take out early evening. They must have been left over from the night before. They were tough and inedible! I thew them out. I often order them and had an expectation. This was beyond disappointing. I will avoid Tullys in the future. Beware. O stars read more

Food tastes like cleaning the kitchen is optional. The meats taste like months worth of grease buildup is smoking it's flavor into the meat.

We ordered from this place because it was so close to where we were staying. We got a salad with added steak and a gluten free pizza. The staff were super helpful when we called in with many questions about allergies and the food was ready when they said it would be. All of the food was great! The salad was fresh and well composed and the pizza was savory and filling. It was some of the best food we had while visiting crested butte! So happy considering the reviews on here were negative. read more

I have had Tullys many times before and they have always let me down, but today was en exception. The meat tasted like a grill, but not in a good way. I got nachos and pulled pork. It tasted like the pulled pork has had the pork pulled out of it. I also got fried pickles and the oil really desperately needs a change. The fried pickles taste like everything that is fried but pickles. The smell alone of this food makes me feel sick. A health inspector has to go out there soon. The food tastes like no one has cleaned the grill, countertops, and oil in months. Don't eat here!!! read more

The wait staff is the WORST most unfriendly and unhelpful that I have ever encountered. They look like they are unhappy that people showed up at the restaurant. VERY unorganized. DO NOT GO THERE unless you want an extremely long wait and arrogant attitudes. This place sucks!! read more

A big part of the menu is barbecue, but unfortunately that's not a priority for the kitchen. While I was hoping for some brisket and my friend wanted their pulled pork, they were out of both. We settled for burgers, and later found they were out of the dessert we wanted. It wasn't a busy night (a Tuesday), so their inability to stock the food that people come for was a mystery to us. Our server was friendly and competent, and the place had an acceptable vibe, but I can't imagine what might make me go back when there are so many other dining choices in Crested Butte. read more

Great place to hang out in CB South. The pizza was amazing -- love the thicker crust. The burger and ruebens were excellent, too. What a great deck for sunny evenings. The service was a little on the slow side. And the draft beers were almost all pale ales -- where are the Pilsners? How about Paulaner or Späten? read more

They claim to have the best onion rings around. They don't. Cold, greasy Returned them and they guy says, "not my problem". Won't be eating there again. They refunded the money, except for the tip. read more

Fantastically laid back atmosphere. We got there early before it got too crowded they had a great selection of brews on taps, everything from Lagers to Stouts. We just had a couple of drinks and a basket of fries, so can't review the food, but the tables next to us had pizza and wings and they smelled fantastic. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars was that they didn't have tasting flights available to sample their beers. But I am nitpicking. We will be back. read more

I've never left a review before but felt I had to warn other people of this place. Zero stars would have been my preference. The owner/chef? was sitting at the bar and insulted us as he was walking back to the kitchen. Was he drunk? I don't know. We put our menus down and walked out. Awful service. Ordered a pizza to go. Waited 30 minutes (the time they told me it would take) until I went to pick it up. When I got there, they said it would take another 20 minutes. After 20 mins I asked them if the pizza was even in the oven yet. They said no so I left . How long is a pizza supposed to take? More than 50 mins? I don't think so. Wasted my time and it wasn't even ready. They didn't even offer me a drink. Disappointed and very angry. read more

Placed a to-go order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I got there, they hadn't even put the order in and was told it would be another 30 minutes. The owners were sitting there and didn't even seem to care. I always tip good even when I get to-go. This is not the first time this has happened and they weren't even busy. They have also made mistakes with my orders in the past. I live in CB South and am so tired of trying to give them a chance on getting the right order or them even putting it in! Large pizza with lots of toppings . Cuban sandwich that was excellent . Hamburgers are large Korean Dont miss the onion rings. Cincinatti three way too. I was CB South in July visiting my brother and sister in law and made Tully's a daily stop after fishing. They have an outstanding beer selection and the food is fantastic. When we went with my kids for dinner, my 9 year old who doesn't like anything said it was the best meal she has ever had (she highly recommends the cheese cake). Being from Chicago I am a little picky when it comes to pizza; Tully's pizza did not disappoint and can stand up to the great places we have in Chicago. He did a great job building the new Tully's and created a great atmosphere to hang with friends or bring your family. read more
