Eaten here many times. Service is always slow but that's to be expected. This time was wild though...my scrambled eggs sausage snd toast took FOREVER to come out. The other two in my party got theirs much sooner. The kicker though....one of the pieces of toast had a bite already taken out of it. Sad because this is the one of the only bfast spots in edwards, but we certainly will not be going back after this gross episode. They also serve sushi later in the day which is a bit concerning considering the kitchens cleanliness. I'd give 0 stars if possible.

Food: 45/50 Service: 25/25 Ambience: 25/25 Total: 95/100 A lovely spot just past Beaver Creek serving some solid breakfast foods. We came here to escape the extremely high prices of the ski resorts, and was very happy with the food, portions and service! The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The food was hot tasty and delicious! I love that they had espresso drinks, and dairy free alternatives milks! Would highly recommend this place if you're visiting looking for a bite and nice people :)

Passing through to fill up gas tanks and bellies, stumbled across this cafe. So glad we did! Good food, beer, and GREAT hospitality!! This place will get my positive word of mouth!

Yummy dish at this whimsical breakfast establishment! Love this place. A nice little treat straight off the bypass.

Leaving Avon to head back to Denver, we went west to Edward's. Found this Cafe and I must say it's a delight. Ate outside and the local dog scout kept the kids busy. Also had bikes and scooters. The food was delicious and friendly staff. Thanks gang.

Love love love love LOVE this place! This is my home away from home, my favorite way to spend the few mornings off I get every month. The food is damn good, the breakfast tacos are my personal favorite but I also highly recommend the chicken salad sammie, anything with the balsamic dressing is a high win (sauce fanatic right here), the chilaquiles and the roasted pear salad. I've eaten almost everything off the menu and haven't had something I wouldn't come back for! The staff though. Woof. Makes my f****** day EVERY TIME. Annie, the manager, is hilarious and all about supporting her people and making a seamless dining experience for the guests. There are days when I'm not even hungry but I go to 163 just to interact with her for a few moments while getting a coffee. The rest of the staff is on the younger side but well trained and enthusiastic and it's so fun to watch them run around owning their space! All in all, 10/10, do it.

We went for dinner during our trip to Beaver Creek. It was on a weekday and this place was busy,…read moretables filled up pretty quick! I love the rustic cabin decor in the dinning room, very warm and cozy vibe. Our server Brett is great, informative and very patience with us. Soup of the Day was Beef & Vegetable and it was pretty good. On the entrees, we went with the grilled wild game meats. Hubby got the Elk Combo (Elk Chop, Grilled Quail, Jackalope sausage). The chop cooked just right, tasty sausage and the quail was delicious. I had the Elk Tenderloin, it was flavorful but I should have ordered medium rare instead of medium as it was overdone to my liking :P

My friend and I went here after a sweet birthday camping trip. We ate outside on the patio which has that secluded garden feeling. Our first order was an appetizer of Rocky Mountain oysters. I had never had them before but always wanted to try. They were excellent by the way!... thinly sliced, with a taste and texture similar to veal. I ordered the Wagyu or Kobe beef burger, I don't recall what it was exactly but it was super tender and delicious, cooked perfectly to my request. With all the accessories, my burger was about 4 1/2 inches tall! The truffle fries were fragrant, delicious and perfectly cooked. Michael was incredible! Sincerely the best service I think I've ever had. It was my friends 35th birthday and, at the end of our meal, Michael brought her out a sweet little chocolate cake of some kind and sang happy birthday to her in Swedish. It was the kind of experience that everyone who dines out hopes to get. I know it's super rare to get that level of quality when dining out, and so I highly recommend going during the off hours. I am definitely going back there to sample more of their exotic game menu... perhaps the elk tenderloin next! Cheers! And thank you Michael for a memorable experience!

Great service. Chase was really attentive and great to talk to. We loved the heirloom beet salad,…read morehowever, it was split for 2. We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the owner (who was working as the host!) and we felt that he paid great attention to detail. He even let us pick where we wanted to sit! We were staying in Vail and…read moredecided to leave the village in hopes of, if not saving money, finding food that was a better value for the expense. Unfortunately, we didn't find it at Juniper. We walked in and there was no "Merry Christmas" or "happy holidays" or really any welcome whatsoever. We were then led to a high top that was next to a temporary wall, so it was a bit cold. I will never understand why restaurants that charge $45-$75 for an entre will sit people at a high top - this is Uncomfortable. Women in heels do not want to try to find a place for their feet. Also, there was no reason for it - it wasn't saving space. It could have just been a regular table. The service was lacking, to say the least. The menu doesn't have a lot of descriptions, including important information about size of beef portions, but the server didn't provide this information until asked. Even the $100 wagyu special made NO mention of the fact that it was 5oz and only one raviolo (though the menu said 'ravioli') - we didn't order this anyway. We ordered the duck confit pizza ($30), pork chop entre ($50), brussels sprout salad ($20), side order of crab cakes ($25), and side order of potato croquettes ($16). The duck pizza was decent but for $30, the crust was rather flavorless - if the crust was a chewy, charred sourdough, this would have been perfect. At least the duck was good. It was a sizeable portion, so if you're only 2 people and you order this, I would not order another app. The pork chop was a properly sized entree with tasty sides. It was cooked well and the only complaint we had was that the bacon really took away from the flavor. The menu did say bacon, so it wasn't a surprise, but it was unnecessary to the plate. The brussels sprout salad for $20 a bit of a disappointment. It was small and overly vinegary. There were 5 small cubes of butternut squash that could have just been boiled. It's a salad, so I'm not expecting fireworks, but like, do something different? The crabcakes were - as the server pointed out - very small. They tasted great and came with a small frisee salad, and the preparation was good but wow, so small. Not worth $25. The potato croquettes were the biggest disappointment. They were four TINY pomme dauphines that barely had potato in them - if you pressed on them, they entirely compressed. Do not order this. And then, we get the bill, and the Bombay martini I ordered was $24.50. The same martini in Vail Village cost me $20 the night before (and the same martini at a comparable place in Denver would have been $18). The other cocktails were $18, so I really can't imagine why this drink would be 30%+ more. Overall, I can't say I'd recommend this place. Just go to Vail and have dinner - at least then, you won't be annoyed at the cost.

Truly one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had. The use of locally sourced meat from CCR and Law's Bourbon is such a great add. The atmosphere is trendy and cool, way above an average "mountain town" dining but still warm and friendly. our service was absolutely perfect. Food - the steak tartare is completely unmatched in presentation & preparation. I love traditional steak tartare but this was a really great take on it. The menu has a considerable presence of peas and beans incorporated into this dishes which is a unique touch from other high end restaurants. The dishes were amazingly plated, and the tastes were so tremendously brought together with quality. Do NOT miss the pistachio tiramisu. The absolute best dessert I have ever had. Words really can't do it justice! This is a spectacular dining experience for any city!

My first review I wrote immediately after the visit magically "disappeared" so here is my…read morereattempt- It was the very end of February and our first time in Glenwood Springs; this restaurant was recommended by a friend - Inside there is a fun pub/ bar yet somewhat classy vibe with brick walls and large screen tvs on display. The host was pleasant and immediately took us to a table for two. After more than a few minutes, a waitress arrived. I can't even tell you her name, bc she never introduced herself; she basically walked up and asked (almost annoyingly) "hey, are you drinkin' or what?" - the whole night she had this attitude and barely checked on us. More on her later though... I ordered the bomb diggity [bourbon, alchermes, cinnamon, spicy peppers, lemon, szechuan bitters] - it was disappointing for me as I anticipated more "burn and spice" with those ingredients but was actually more on the sweet side, but not a bad cocktail by any means (just less my style). My wife ordered the get squashed [tequila, dry curacao, allspice roasted squash, agave, lime, hickory salt rim] - had this with mezcal instead - which was what I would call a very fun cocktail and would definitely get again! We ordered the Steak tartare for an appetizer, followed by the Red wine cavatelli for the wife and pan roasted colorado striped bass for myself. After a decent amount of wait time, our entrees arrived (delivered by food runners)- We ask, what happened to our appetizer? They indicate they will find our server. Our unnamed waitress comes back to the table and made a comment something to the effect of "the kitchen must have messed it up," no apology, no "let me check on that," just shrugged it off and asked "so do you still want it?" The entrees were good but too much time has passed for me to provide significant detail here, we were also just flustered by the waitress-tartare situation. Ultimately we decided we would still like the steak tartare and would just consider it "dessert" since we had been looking forward to it, and I'm glad we did. It was DELISH. The tots? Fantastic and unique base for the tartare. When the bill came I am pretty sure this is the first and only time our waitress smiled. There was, again, no apology or comped portion of the bill. We did speak with the manager (who was super personable and understanding) to let him know our concerns about said waitress. Overall, the food here is worth it but that waitress should find another job, perhaps one with less human interaction.
