The niku tama is more of a thicker soup base similar to egg drop soup, however has a more slightly sweet umami flavor. The kakuni udon had a lighter broth with braised pork belly. The service was a bit slow here, but we didn't mind it too much. The interior had a cute traditional Japanese style decor. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and we'll be back to try other udons.

So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth.
