The chicken kabob plate with salad and mushrooms is my usual but can't go wrong with any of their sides. The salad dressing is light and tangy. The garlic sauce - extra serving please!! The chicken is tender and juicy. Mushrooms had a smokiness to it, so meaty. The portions are so filling, needed a to go box. Save room for dessert! Incredibly fresh Mediterranean food in Burbank near Walt Disney Studios. Great selection of Mediterranean food, coffee, and desserts. The chicken that came with the Mediterranean salad was incredibly juicy and heavy on the protein. Matcha Latte was pretty good, don't think it needed the mint that was included as it gets stuck in the straw when sipping, but not docking any points for it. Highly recommend this spot. read more

Dude. I love this place. I'd eat here more regularly if I lived or worked closer. The people are very kind. The seating is clean and well maintained. Holy smokes this place is fantastic. I'm Armenian and have tried every Mediterranean/ kabob place in Los Angeles. This was one of the best. I ordered chicken breast to go. It was ready so quickly. They have a delicious looking selection of dessert. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice, garlic sauce and hummus were all on point. My only issue (and it's more of an issue with myself and my own lack of reading comprehension) is that the place only comes with rice, meat and garlic sauce and you have to add extra sides. A love affair between coffee and Mediterranean food. I've never seen a combination of the two but SOTTA makes it work. The restaurant has a calm, cozy vibe. You place your order at the counter and find a table. I ordered the dark chicken kebab plate with salad and grilled veggies for a little under $20. About 10 minutes later the food came out, and it was a generous portion of food. The vinaigrette paired with the salad was delicious, and the chicken was juicy. The caveats I'll make before my review is that I came here right as there was a shift change. As a result, the food and drinks took a very long time to arrive; so much so that the coffee we ordered, we had to remind them to make and bring to us. I sat outside with my dog, and it was a really nice outdoor area that doesn't feel like you're on a busy street (even though you are). I did like my gyro wrap, it was tasty and the side was the right amount of food. As for my guava lemonade, I didn't love that the guava was a sweetener syrup type, I was expecting more of a juice. I had to give a balanced review, for the place it was beautifully designed, super friendly staff and very clean, parking was no problem at all. But for the food; presentation was perfected and looked great but my only problem was that the couple of plates that we ordered lacks flavor and a lot of it. Everything was bland, for a Middle Eastern cuisine there were no flavors at all. Meat was tender and juicy but with no flavors, lentil soup was very watery, garlic aioli had no garlic flavor at all. Found this place on Yelp and it looked and sounded good. We stopped by for a late lunch which was pretty quiet but nice. There was some people that were enjoying their meal outside and no one was dining in just yet. And most people that was there same time as us were mainly picking up. There was four of us that was at here for lunch and one menu was given to us. Had to go up to the counter and asked for another. I don't remember seeing a scan menu hence the menu was giving to us. You order at the counter and seat yourself. I'm not sure if the girl that helped us was new or training. We had to repeat things to her a few time but it was fine. Sotta has been one of my favorite places in Burbank to eat at ever since it's opened. I went a couple of days ago with one of my friends to get our to go meal. The server said the card didn't go through even tho it said approved. She made me swipe my card multiple times and they charged me double. I realized this after and immediately called but apparently the manager isn't in for the weekend. I was told to email her no response. I have still yet to receive a response. The double charge was not a small amount either. Very disappointing for their lack of care. Mind you this is not the first time it has happened to me. Had lunch here with co workers today. Ordered white meat chicken kabobs plate with salad. Grilled veggies, hummus and sweet potato fries. And a New York style cheesecake. What can I say. It was just OK. The hummus was just like a tiny dab on the plate. The salad was like spring mix with cucumber. I had ordered a plate that was marked on the menu specifically as "gluten free". Upon serving, the plate came out with a piece of pita bread on top of the food. Stumbled across this amazing place a few weeks ago on the way to visit a friend in the hospital. Tye service was amazing the food was amazing not to mention the best iced vanilla latte and the vibe of the restaurant was amazing. We live in Chatsworth and it was so good we drove back last Friday. Once again everything was amazing. When we walked in the wonderful young lady remembered me and asked if I wanted an iced vanilla latte of course I did. They were packed and the fact she remembered us from only being there one time before was so welcoming. I ended up going back this morning because the latte is that good. Grabbed a latte and a few of their bakery items. 1 million percent worth the drive from Chatsworth to Burbank. The owners of this place know what they are doing. Came in for lunch today. Restaurant is cute and parking was easy enough. I ordered boneless chicken kabab and it's delicious. Waiting time was about 15 mins. However towards to the end, while I was still working on my plate, a lady can to me and asked if I'm done and wanted to take my food away. I told her I was working on it still. 10 mins later the moment I put down my folk, she immediately came to my table again and asked "now can I take it that you're done with the meal?" Came here with my family closer to 11:30am for an early lunch. You can grab a menu near the front, order with the cashier and they'll give you a number. I only took a picture of their hot Mocha drink because it was pretty and it was pretty good! The fries were delicious also. I ordered the salmon plate with shriazi salad.
